  1. Ok I see it may have tighten up further then I tightened it while it was in my pocket. Since my work is pretty physical being in law enforcement it's probably subject to a lot more abuse then the normal user would put it through i.e. running, jumping fences, take downs and tackles, and the odd scuffle with some one who's not to happy to see me. LOL
  2. Ok I've had my VP2 with 510 atty adapter for a little while now and I'm having a problem with the adapter. I did my homework before I ordered it and started using it so a I have been careful just to put it on finger tight and not torque it down. So the first weeks went by great and I have to say I love it but lately I've been having issues with it and wanted to see if anyone else is having or has had a problem like this. If I screw it together all the way the LED's won't come on I won't get any power to the atty(no kiss kiss, no bang bang etc). They only way it works is if it's loosened to the point where the atty and the adapter are loose and wobbly on the unit and I mean loose like feels like it's going to fall apart loose. So I'm not quite sure what's going on with this I've never had to with anything else I've ever used I've tried cleaning the threads, tried cleaning the adapter really well, even tried several other of my 510 attys and it's always the same any input would be greatly appreciated!
  3. You should have seen when I made the switch! I work in law enforcement so needless to say it made some of my fellow officers quite curious which then was followed by teasing and joking(including a couple of smarta** k-9 officers running there narco dogs on me). But after a while it was cool and I even converted 2 other officers.
  4. It all depends on where you will be doing the most of your vaping if you are going to be near a computer most of the time then a PT is the way to go if you are out and about the the VP2 is the one for you personaly I have both and both work awesome. As for asking don't worry about that's what we all are here for to share and gain knowledge!!!
  5. About 2 hours is pretty normal for a regular 510 battery that's why I have a VP2 with a 510 adapter and a passthrough. As for the atomizer mine get pretty warm I would worry to much after all remember it is a heating element for all intensive purposes.
  6. I basically explained what it was to my doc and he was very happy with it and was very supportive.
  7. I haven't tried the silver bullet myself but I know I've heard a lot of good things. The only problem with the silver bullet unlike others such as the VP2 is you have to buy everything separate. You have to buy the housing, the charger, the batteries, and the atomizer all separate whereas with something like the VP2 you get the housing, charger, 2 batteries, and the adapter for the 510 atomizer all you need to buy separate is the atomizer. Also I forgot to recommend buying a least one or two spare atomizers since that is the main part that ever really needs replacing.
  8. I can also recommend the 510 it's got a great size if you're looking for portability plus with the addition of a PCC(portable charging case) should keep you powered up with out having to worry to much about recharging. In addition there are many different power sources for the 510 atomizer(i.e. the VP2, usb pass throughs, and several other options). Just remember it all boils down to your preferences. If you find any others you have questions about just ask. Odds are one us have probably used it and can give you any advice you need.
