ECC 2015 - Pomona, CA.
Bushwick replied to Adversarious1's topic in Local Vape Meets and Conventions
I just talked to a buddy. I will be there for both consumer days (Saturday AND Sunday). So if anyone from the VT community will be attending either day, and is also interested in meeting up. Shout at me. I will be there with a small group. So as much as I would like to, I can't hang out for long. But I can stop by and say hi, introduce myself, etc. -
You've been using wire gauges that are a bit too close. That's why your wraps don't come out super close together. The smaller the wire you use for the outer portion, the better it will look. For example, 24 and 32ga is a good combo. Not 24 and 26/28. I used to rock 24/28 but then I started using 30 in place of the 28 and I started to notice that it looks better. I will never understand these industry build-kings using 45ga on 26ga cores, though. That's ludicrous.

Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
Bushwick replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I did it. I gave in and bought an RTA/RBA. Snagged a kayfun from my local shop when I went in to pick up some juice. I don't know how to feel about this. But it seemed like a good idea at the time. -
lol This is pretty great.

Bump when you get something in vape mail.
Bushwick replied to Tam's topic in General Vaping Discussion
A little out of the (Incredibly low) price range right now. Check to check, at the moment. Had to pick up a $15 120ml... I'll get back up there eventually. I've been running the same build for almost a month because I can't even budget wire at this point. -

I've been thinking about grabbing a bottle of that PBFB. -
I'm way past that point. lol i was like that almost two years ago Welcome to the club, dude.

The increased airflow will in fact kill the flvor. The tighter you make it, though, the better. I'm sure you already know that. You'll get used to it. I wasn't too impressed at first either. But look at me now. I'm obsessed with large amounts of airflow and an easy draw.

ECC 2015 - Pomona, CA.
Bushwick replied to Adversarious1's topic in Local Vape Meets and Conventions
Yeah. I went to Vapecon last year hoping it would be similar to ECC. It was not. Very small convention. Very high prices and a portion of the vape community that I, personally, don't enjoy. Lot's of loud trap music. If I decide to go, I will let anyone reading know. So that we may be able to set up a meet-up at the convention. I think it would be really cool to meet a few of our members outside of the forum. -

I may or may not be there. I can make it to Pomona, but I don't know if I want to cut a huge hole in my wallet, ya know? It looks like it's going to be pretty great though. -
I would be in there more often. But works been pretty crazy this week. I was lucky to get home on time tonight. And the house is a bit of a warzone tonight. So I might just go to bed

You're getting it shen. Those look alot better than the last ones you wrapped. Also, smaller wire for the outer wraps (not the core) will help the gaps close up a little as well.

I really enjoy the chat feature. When I post in threads, they seem to go dead. In chat, people actually reply. Plus I enjoy the expedited process.

What's the best place you've ever vaped?
Bushwick replied to Jessyvapes's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I did not! I'm not actually from the PNW. I just visit family in Bend every so often. -
I'm not a beer drinker, but......
Bushwick replied to VapeMama's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
This stuff is available all over the place. It's exploded in popularity. There's also a 10% and either a 12 or 18% ABV version. All of which mask the boozey taste very well. It's a dangerous beverage. -

My favorite place I sat down and vaped at has to be atop Fort Rock in Central Oregon. One of the most beautiful places. I left behind my two climbing partners and took off to a peak by myself for a quick vape. Sat for maybe 5 min or so, and looked out on nothing but flat farm land. Gorgeous. -
Cotton bacon has been around for awhile. I've heard very seriously mixed reviews on it. I know people who live on cotton bacon AND people who refuse to use it again.

hehehe I'm a bad influence. They're a P.I.T.A. to put together, but once you get them done and look at them, you feel so accomplished. Welcome to the nerd club. Plus they make you look cool. Look at how much cooler I am now!

Take it really slow when you wrap your claptons, Shen. Take your time so that you can wrap it up nice and close. I know I have to go super slow to make mine look nice.

More wire shots. I always forget to take coil/glow shots. So, again, this will have to do. 22g ka1 twisted with 26g ka1 and helixed with two strands of 32g n80

I use an MXv4 on a Smith 150w box. I frequently build around .15-.2 and I run those builds around 50w. Sometimes I'll crank up to 75, but you should be good so long as you're not getting all crazy low. If you like lots of airflow, it's a great atty to have. I moved up from the MXv3 to this and the extra airflow is just that much more awesome. I know absolutely nothing about the maze, but I'd recommend the Mutation all day.

So I got my lightning vapes order the other day. I finally sat down last night and decided to try something new. Since this whole "helix" thing seems to have caught on in the build world, I tried my hand at it. (2x) Twisted 26ga Ka1, paralleled and "helixed" with 32ga n80 Meters out to something like .15 (I don't remember exactly and I'm too lazy to check right now). I also didn't take any pictures of the coil after I wrapped it, but here's a picture of the wire. Hand wrapping this stuff is a pain in the ***!

When I'm at home, I will sit at my desk all day and chain vape. But when I'm at work, I only get 2 chances to vape throughout the day. So I vape for a few at lunch and then on break a few hours later. Long story short, I vape both ways. It just depends on the situation.

That looks like an awesome place to be right now. I'm extremely jealous.

OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT GUAVA.
