I haven't tried the Fadora Margarita, but EC Blends' Key Lime is great! It was one of the first juices I ordered online. I still love it now (a year later) It's one of my favorite juices. Even above my Copper Creek Voo's Broo!

I understand. I've been reading everything I can on RDA's over the past couple of months. I even got a buddy to stop because he jumped in with no meter and no knowledge.

I understand what I need from my battery, Troy. 1.3 ohm coil with a Sony VTC4. The whole point of this post was to make sure there was a short warning on my VTR. I had no plans to put it on a device until I knew whether or not there was. I know what I need to know to start building, I'm simply waiting on my meter and I got a little impatient. My bad, guys. And I would be using a mechanical for the actual vaping. I just wanted to test it on my VTR to find that information.

I know it will display the ohms. Also, don't worry, I'll be safe. The last thing I want to do is be stupid about this. I was just wondering if it tell me if there's a short. I really just wanted to try my hand at wrapping coils. If I can't fire it safely, that's fine. I just really really wanted to give wraps a try.

So I got a bit impatient waiting for my kanthal and meter, and I tore apart the stock build on my trident clone I got from Fasttech. I wrapped 6 times each on a 1/16" drill bit. My question is will my VTR tell me if there is a short without firing it? I know it tests resistance, and I know it has short circuit protection on it. But I want to know if it will tell me before I do anything else. I don't want to risk having a short and putting it on my dearly beloved device! I want my meter..

That's what I was thinking! I want to get one, but it will have to wait for the next time I stock up on stuff..

Mine leaks constantly! I can't seem to figure it out. No matter how many times I take it apart, clean it, and reassemble it. I changed the coil about this time yesterday and it has started leaking already. :/ This is kind of frustrating. I have the worst luck with tanks! They all leak..

Yeah, that looks like a VTC4. Hmm. Not sure how to tell if it's a fake. Comp made a good point. May be a bad battery. But that's not something I've ever heard of..

Yeah, I've got a glass bottle with a CP cap and dropper on it from my local B&M sitting on my desk right now.

It should be standard, IMO. We'd hear less about kids getting a hold on their parents juice and giving themselves nic poisoning..

Aren't the caps on most bottles classified as "childproof"? like the EC Blends bottles?

LOL! Understandable. I think it is a cool idea, I just love mine. I still use my protank2 and vivi novas on it, so it still gets plenty of use. I also use my trident, omega, and helios clones on it. I found that putting the ego cone adapter thing that came with my Protank2 on the extension makes it look a little less dorky. :P But that's only at home in front of my PC. I'm excited for you! I want a DNA30 mod as well, but that just isn't in the budget right now. Heck, the chip isn't even in my budget at the moment!

I'm sitting here with my VTR in hand, and trying to imagine it as a DNA 30 mod.. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the finish you did. I don't dislike it by any means. But I'm not sure I'd want it done to mine. However, it's a cool look! I think I just love mine too much to even think about doing this. Best of luck, Medic! Hope it comes out the way you want it to!

I don't have kids, but if I did, I'm not quite sure how I'd raise them. "Strict parents raise the best liars." Kind of true for me. My parents were really strict. As a result, I became a sneaky little kid. I did a lot of stuff I'll probably never tell my family about. But the OP has strict parent on a different level. I'm sorry, but getting in trouble for having a vape at the age of 18? I could understand catching some **** for cigarettes, but a vape!? Even for cigarettes, nicotine tests? What? For those of you in Southern California, I found a meet in Rancho Cucamonga! It's April 5th at the 909 Pub & Grill in Rancho. I will definitely be attending! Welcome to VT! I'm pretty sure a large number of us came here to ask questions and to learn. So don't feel bad about asking them! If you have a question, look around in the forums to see if you can find an answer. Chances are, whatever you are curious about has already been asked/answered. If you can't find it, then just ask! I'm still learning alot from these guys.

I like the idea of a pinwheel coil. Sounds crazy! This is exactly what motivated me to get into the dripping world. I love the creativity! The Spiral coil you're building looks awesome as well, Joe. I would love to see how the both of them vape upon completion.

After seeing this on his FB, I was wondering how he made it... Crazy build. I enjoy longer drags. So I might try this after gaining a little build experience!
