jeffb, I'm too lazy and/or stupid to look for the answer myself, but why are they wanting to have their product classified as a tobacco product? I would assume it has to do with federal tax breaks for the tobacco industry? Why would they not argue instead that it is a smoking cessation product?
This may be the wrong forum for this, but I truly believe that in spite of the gov't (read that Dems) drive for "improved" health care, that they really do not have any interest in getting smokers to quit, any more than they want comsumers of alchohol to quit. Too big of a tax base for them.
