WHAT??? You have to violate my request? I will violate your request, I don't need this forum at all. You can kiss my a..!

Denture cleaner, of course! That sounds like a winner. No I am not trying to make the impossible take place and try to make an atty last for Months, and Months, all I am interested in doing is routine maintenance which will keep it working well while it is in use. You are making it sound as if I am the only one that wishes to clean an atty? I am seeking to do nothing else than what hundreds of others are seeking to do, routine maintenance on the atty. Except I wish to use an ultrasound machine instead of coca cola, or some other such nonsense. I have the machine, and I know its capabilities in keeping things clean, so rather than blowing the atty out, or placing in boiling water, or coke, or any other way devised to clean the atty, I want to use the ultrasound, as I know it is far superior in its cleaning. Thank you for the suggestion on using denture cleaner, that sounds like the solution to use. I now know what I will do, first a cleaning in denture cleaner, followed by a cleaning in distilled, that is the Road I will travel. I am not trying to make things harder than what they are, I am trying to make things better than what they are is all. I have no problems in spending the money on a new atty once a Month, I only wish to keep it clean, and functioning as it should while I am using it, in the meantime if by keeping it very clean it does last longer than normal, why not go that route? Thanks again, Deko.

I really do appreciate all the replies, and I know that you are only trying to help. I am new here, and of course do not wish to make waves at the onset of my journey here at the forum. However, I would only like to receive replies from those that actually use ultrasound to clean attys, otherwise if you do not use ultrasound, you will be guessing the same way that I am guessing. I understand the pros, and cons of using chemicals, however, the chemical I do use is being used by dental offices, medical offices, etc. so I assume that they understand that it will be ingested. I was also wondering if using something like H2O2, or Simple Green, or something to that effect could be used. (Of course with a rinsing in Distilled water) I know that I shouldn't use any acids like vinegar, as it could ruin the stainless steel in the ultrasound machine, and water alone in the ultrasound does not normally produce effective results especially with nicotine which is very hard to remove. This is why I would like to ask anyone that actually uses ultrasound to clean attys, what they use besides water, if anything? Thanks, Deko

Thanks, it seems the consensus is to use water only, glad I asked before just doing it. Thanks.

Well that makes two people that said to use water only, that must be the way to go then. However, I did intend on rinsing it well in distilled water after the cleaning, but since I have never done it before, I am only trying to figure this out. I think I understand both your concerns as this will be different than cleaning a watch or something as I will be ingesting, not simply wearing. I will ask you the same question, do you use an ultrasound to clean the atty, and if you do what results do you get? Thanks, Deko

Thanks for the reply. Do you use an ultrasound to clean the atty? If you do, what results do you get? The solution I have is supposed to prevent rust from developing on metal etc., I intend on rinsing the atty in distilled water after the cleaning. Also, water alone doesn't seem to clean without some sort of solution, and as nicotine is hard to clean, I thought that using a solution would be best. If you have good results with using plain water in the ultrasound, then I will try it for sure. Deko

I have an ultrasound cleaner (42,000 waves per sec.), I also have a cleaning solution that is good for electronics, watches, etc. (Gilby Ultrasonic cleaner) I want to try using the solution I have, however,if anyone knows what solution to use to clean the atty please let me know. Thanks, Deko

I've already done that a few times, right now I like carts, that may change. Probably I'll keep switching off between dripping, and carts until I really know which I like best, however, as of right now it is using carts. Thanks for letting me know though. Hey, I think I figured out how to do this replying....cool!

Christopher, I hope that I am doing this reply thing right, as believe it or not this is the first forum I've ever been on. And when I went to reply to your reply to me, your entire post is here and I'm just not sure what to do yet? So I will just scroll your message down and reply, if it goofs I apologize, but as I said I am not familiar with forums. I also bought the PCC so batt life is not an issue with the 510 for me, I just have to have a learning curve on the cart filling thing, I will probably kill a couple of atty's in the process. I also got some 901 tips from J.C. that fit perfectly in the 510, and I like the 910 cart because it has the two flat areas instead of the rounded tip that came with the 510. The only problem is I keep finding myself twisting the 910 cart to line up with the switch, and I have to try and stop doing that as I think I will loosen up the wick on the atty if I keep doing that. Its funny you mention the hole in the batt for the auto, as that is exactly what I have in the batt I received from the second supplier for my 510. I know it's not an auto because it has the manual switch. Let me see if I can give a picture with words on the second batt I received: It looks like a regular 'A cell batt' that you would get for a toy or something you know with the raised portion that sits in the middle of the + side, the difference is that this 510 batt has a hole in the middle of that raised area, as opposed to a normal 'A batt' not having the hole. Whereas the batt I received from my 510 starter kit looks like the neg.side of an 'A batt'. (I'm of course talking about the section you can see when you unscrew the att from the batt) I will ask Fresh Smoking to see which batt they have, then I may just have to assume that the other suppliers batt is the second type. Thanks and hope I did this correctly, I guess I'll find out in a few seconds. Thanks to everyone for all your replies also as they were all very helpful, I was also surprised at the number of replies that came so quickly. Deko

I have been vaping for two weeks now, I am using the Joye Dura C-510 and so far it is working well. At first I was having trouble with it, and was disappointed, I didn't realize that there would be a "breaking in" period, but once that my 510 was broken in I am having no problems at all. I bought a batt and an atty from a different supplier and the batt looks different on the inside. The batt from Fresh Smoking on the inside is flat, the batt from a different supplier has a raised nodule in the middle with a hole in the center, definitely two different batts, can anyone tell me if either one is generic? I notice that so far I have not seen a post, or a review of the supplier called 'Fresh Smoking', they are out of New Jersey. After researching the web for vaping items, I find that there prices are very good, but most importantly the customer service is absolutely awesome. For my next ecig I was thinking of getting a pen style, I am currently looking at the 801, however, Fresh Smoking carries a pen called the FS Emperor 201, if anyone is familiar with this ecig please give some feedback, as I really cannot find too much info on it, the 801 has a vast amount of info, some positive, some neg. I also am using Johnson Creek liquid and so far I find it to be very good, clear and tasty. The customer service at J.C. was very good also. J.C. also included with each flavor an eye dropper, and a small dropper vial which I thought was a nice touch. I have been smoking analogs for over 45 years, and since vaping, I have not touched an analog in the two week period. I still have four packs of analogs and have no desire to smoke again, as I just love this vaping thing. Any feedback on the FS Emperor 201 would be appreciated as I am trying to decide on the 201, or the 801 for my next ecig. Thanks in advance, Hawk
