The ohm is the same as a Joye 510 (2.2). Why would a 2.3 ohm atty short it out?
-
I think I figured it out. Came to me in the middle of the night. Odd how the mind works.
-
Call me dense, but I don't understand how to use that??? You have an adapter and an alligator clip. What do you do with it?
-
Nice - thanks for the review. That may be my next mod.

Pretty cheap at madvapes and goodprophets also. madvapes goodprophets

That's a good rule. When I first started using them at 6V I went through several because once you start to taste the filler buning, there's no goign back. Now I just add 10 or so drops pretty regularly and it's lasting a long time. I've been using the same carto for nearly 3 weeks now and it's still working good and tastes good. I only use it about 2 hours a day though, while driving.

Does he have an APO address we could ship to directly from a supplier (like the VT store)?

See posts #6 and #8. Maybe we can get WillBlack on here to explain more. My link

I think the one Grimm reviewed are KR808s so you'd have to have an adapter to use them. You may want to check out these LR 510 cartos: My link

Can't wait to see the show!

5 for $39.95 at indyvaporshop. 10% off with "vtforum" (don't know if that's still good). I've ordered a few thing form them with no problems and fast shipping. Sorry Mike, haven't done much looking for 302s. Indyvaporshop

Sorry, not seeing it anywhere.

They say that all Joye batteries (eGo included) are throttled down and only deliver 3.1V. There's a pic around here somewhere. However, a regular 3.7V mod actually delivers 3.7V under load. Still not sure I understand all that. Anyhow, I've been hearing that around 10 watts is the sweet spot for a while. I still think it's a matter personal preference. I've got a spreadsheet that calculates this for all the different volts and atty ohms. Ikenvape have a 3.5 ohm HV atty... that at 6V would put you at 10.3 watts. Also, a 5.2 ohm HV atty (available just about everywhere) at 7.4V (two 3.7v batts) would put you at 10.5 watts. IDK. I've got some 5.0 ohm HV attys that I haven't tried yet. I may try one at 7V on my SB/PT and enercell. That would put me 9.8 watts.

I went and checked thier forum on ECF and they posted on 06/02 that the store has reopened. Hours are M-F 9am-6pm, Sat 10am-6pm.

You can get them at nhaler and madvapes (different brand name).
-
I've been going through the same thing recently with regular attys. I had a good run, but lately it's poof, poof, poof.

Ditto.

Is this what your original battery looks like? It says 360 mAh. Both of my 510 PT batteries say 320 mah and are exactly the same as my V3 battery. Cignot is a little cheaper. Heck, you may be better off just getting another PT. Electronic Ash

I was just looking around and some suppliers are selling the Trustfire 10440 600 mah (really 360) battery for the V3. That's not what comes with it though. @Jeffb - Thanks!
-
Ok - the 600 mah is just a misprint... it's really 360. It's the same battery used in the Spade, and it's to big for the PT. Here's what you need: My link I know I've seen them other place, but can't for the life of me find them now. I also checked batteryjunction and allbattery and didn't see them. If I find them elsewhere, I'll post it. I just checked and it's the same battery that the Joye/Janty Stick V3 uses.
-
Got a response back from them already - thanked me for posting the code here and said they'd be sure to drop in.
-
I did send them an email, but I didn't ask to get the discount. I did explain what happened and invited them to post on VT in the future. Hopefully they'll oblige and we'll see them over here from time to time.
-
I know some suppliers sell the batteries, but Cignot is the only one I was able to find it at just looking around real quick. Getting it from a supplier would ensure the correct battery. I know they're around other places also. I'm wondering if maybe the 360 mah you had in there was unprotected? That would make it shorter than a protected 10440.

I can be such a stupie some times. I placed an order last night (very early this morning) and used the code celtic. I just found out that this weekend FA is 50% off with code flavoryum! Then I see on the site they display a 20% off code also. Good grief! I'll shouldn't be shopping at 3am - my mind just wan't right. Anyhow, hope some of you can catch the 50% off sale.
-
The ones for the PT should be 320 mah. Any chance you got the 360 mah ones? The little blue ones that are 320 mAh are a little tight, but not to bad. I just tried to put a 360 mah (Spade battery) in a 510 PT and it won't go.
