  1. Madvapes is a great site and has fantastic service. I've ordered from them several times, mostly mod parts. Haven't tried any of thier juce, but hear it's good.
  2. I'll start off by saying that I've been using a Black Silver Bullet for about four months now and absolutely love it. It's a vaping beast! I vape all day at 6V, come home from work and switch the top over to it's PT and continue vaping at 6V. My SB is in near constant use. Four months of heavy use and I have never and a single problem with it. Enter OMEGA: So, July 3rd was my birthday and for the past two weeks my wife has been nagging me because she didn't have anything for me and didn't know what to get me. I told her not to worry about it, and thought she had let it go, but she started back up just a few days before the big day. Nag, nag, nag. What's a guy to do, right? So I told her I'd order a new PV for my b-day and she was happy with that. I have been considering getting another SB, but decided to go ahead and get the Omega. I ordered it Wednesday evening and it arrived Saturday morning. The Omega is a thing of beauty. Take the SB and add some elegance and class and you have Omega. It comes in a velvet bag which you will need to clean up the drool when you pull the Omega out of it. Seriously, the unit is absolutely eye candy. How does it vape? It vapes as expected... like a beast. I'm using two LiFePO4s for 6V and a BE112 atty (thanks GDub for the atty tip) and it vapes great - just like the SB. The push button top (switch) is very nice. I was concerned that I wouldn't like it, but it's perfect. Some people have expressed concerns about the switch being activated if you're a pocket carrier. IMO, you are 100% correct. While it does take a little pressure to depress it, I would not be comfortable carrying it in my pant pocket. In size, it's about the same as the SB. It's slightly smaller in circumference and weighs 25% less (3oz vs. the 4oz SB). You can definitely tell the difference in weight when you hold it. Issues: The only problem I've found is that it wasn't firing every time I pushed the top down. This is because it was designed for 18650 batteries and I’m using two LiFePO4s which a slightly smaller in diameter. To correct this, I used a Pop-Tart box to make a battery sleeve. This worked perfectly and it fires ever single time now. I've heard of people doing this with the SB and Indulgence also and it works great. You all know I don't do reviews. I'll jump in on someone else's review and say "yeah, I agree" or "I love mine" or something like that. Face it, I suck at reviews and I'm okay with that. However, I felt like I had to say something about the SB and Omega. They really are fantastic units and I have no qualms at all about recommending them. I've never had anything but excellent products and service from Altsmoke. Due to the quality and durability of the SB I had no reservations at all about ordering the Omega. I knew it would be a great unit and have no doubt it will pass the test of time. Thanks for reading... sorry to babble on.
  3. This is the "no box" Joye 510. I've ordered 6 of them and had no issues. I had several people at working wanting to make the switch so I got the kits from cignot and resold them (at cost) + some juice. Was a good way to introduce people to it at a lower cost to start. Since I ordered so many kits, shipping was free so there was no added cost.
  4. Here's the vid for disassembly.
  5. You may want to check out this thread. My link Honestly, while I agree with everything in that thread, I can say that I've havne't heard anything bad about healthcabin. Actually, I've heard pretty good things about them and have seen some pretty good feedback on their customer service. I'm not promoting them, and have never ordered from them... just trying to provide you with additional info.
  6. David - the problem is that there are a lot of suppliers out that that take a standard KR808 or Joye 510, slap a fancy name on it and sell it for $150+ to unsuspecting/uninformed customers. Any standard type starter kit will go for around $50. Even a Joye eGo, which comes with two 650mAh batteries and two attys is priced around $70. Sorry if we seemed a little hostile, but we all try to look out for each other and the community.
  7. Yeah, was thinking the same thing... I think there's a fox in the hen house.
  8. Here's a link to a coupon code master list at vaperzone. My link
  9. Good review. Yes, the threads are different... cigeasy focuses on KR808s... ego is a 510. What you may have seen on the cartos was a sotck of 510 cartomizers that they got in (due to customer requests). However, they quickly learned that this was confusing the customers and the liquidated them (sold them off dirt cheap I might add).
  10. My DIY kit from Dawn came with some nice freebies too. Great service and fast shipping. Glad you're liking that hickory smoke. I had some of that (different supplier) and while I really liked the flavor, that stuff will stick in an atty for days. Are you experiencing the same thing with the DIY brand?
  11. The adapter can also push down the center pole on the PT. I've heard you can raise the center pole gently with a paper clip, but you may want to contact vaprlife.
  12. There is a different material wrapped around the coil... do you leave that in tact to absorb juice as you drip, or do you remove that also?
  13. You may need to add a little more juice to start after you clean it. 2-3 drops after cleaning will not be enough. Probably need 5 to get started. Without enough juice, you'll get a burnt taste. I don't clean as part of regular maintenance. When an atty craps out (dies, or gets a bad taste, or gets a tight draw) I just put it in a little glass with the rest of the bad ones. Once I have several, I'll boil them in distilled water. Since at that point I deem the attys bad, if they don't make it through the cleaning process, no big loss. However, it usually works pretty well. The only thing I do regularly is blow it out, and also roll up a piece of paper towel and insert it in the end and let it sit for a while. If you repeat this a few time you'll be surprised at how much gets absorbed out.
  14. It's up! Only $99.95. Omega
  15. LOL! Actually, I've been having pretty good luck with nothing more than pipettes. I use a 3ml one that has marks every 1/2ml, and a 1ml one that is marked in 1/4mls. Works out pretty good for me.
  16. My expericne with 6V is that you will go through more attys. I had one last a month, then blew through a few in only a week. Got one now that's going on 3 weeks. Hit and miss. As for leaking, seems like I had quite a bit of leakage when I first went to HV, but it's not much of an issue any more. I guess over time you just figure out how much juice is just the right amount. Still happens occasionally, but not often. 510s will leak more when very hot, so if you're chain vaping it you probably run a higer risk of leaking.
  17. The Bloog looks like a KR808, so it's a cartomizer. There are cartomizers for the 510 now also. I could be mistaken, but I believe the inner wrapping keeps the coil from burning the outer wrapping, which is what holds the juice and allows it to slowly absorb into the inner wrapping.
  18. You need a 510 to 901/KR808.
  19. I'm hoping someone will jump in here with some flavors that aren't spicy. And that spicy will linger in your atty for days. Hard one to get rid of.
  20. Kind of funny, but that's exactly what I've just been doing, but over the past several days. I was about to make a post about the same thing. The FA Camtel Ultimate and Latakia taste about the same to me, and are similar to PA Tobacco Blend (and the PA Tobacco Blend (Alc). I was just telling nana & ddave that they are kinda musky/musty. Reminds me of old spice and my grandma's closet. I'm not enjoying them much and have tried mixing them a little, but can't get past that spice tastse. I'm with you on the tobacco flavors so far, totally bummed. I'm glad you posted though, bacause I was planning to order Burley and Desert Ship, but think I'll pass now. However, I do like the Mellow Sunset, and I just tried the Max/Boro and I think I'll be able to vape it also. These don't seem to have that spice taste, but I'm hoping to find some others I like better.
  21. Nice review! I'm interested in getting something that's between 4-5v. I like 6V, but I've go through a lot of attys.
  22. Never vaped apple cider, but here's one. Tasty Vapor Vapr4life has some too. vapr4life Wish I could give you a review, but can't. I've seen a lot of good reviews on the TastyVapor one though.
