Can you elaborate on this? How much do the attys get used? One dozen attys lasting 8 months does not equate to one a atty lasting 8 months. When I first started vaping I had 4 or 5 attys that I rotated through. They all lasted about 5 months. That doesn't mean one atty used constantly would last 5 months. Honestly, I had pretty good luck with attys when I vaped at 3.7v. It was after switching to 6V that I started blowing them.

Boiling may help the atty that's still alive. You may just try running it under hot tap water, blow it out real good and let it dry over night. For the dead atty, does it get hot at all? They say the average life of an atty is about 4 weeks. Some will last only 2 weeks, others will last much longer. My experience is that if one lasts more than 2 or 3 weeks, it'll probably go a lot longer. You always want to make sure you have a few on hand.

I would be learly of any vendor selling it below $70 (full kit - 2 atty/2 batts/2 cones). Mostly, keep with known suppliers with good reputations. Most vendors who sell Joye have it clearly identified as a Joye eGo. If a vendor is selling an "eGo" and doesn't say it's a Joye eGo, that would worry me. There is one popular vendor selling the eGo, but it's not a Joye eGo. The do not it on their site that it's not Joyetech.

P.S. - Welcome to VaporTalk!!!

Drip tips are great, so yes it would be a great benefit. In the mean time, to keep from melting the cart, you can trim off the bottom a little (just below the vent hole) with a knife or razor blade.

Glad it's working better. Yes, an atty will burn out if it gets dry. Keep it moist, but be careful not to flood it. There is a learning curve, and it can be frustrating at times, but the rewards are amazing. Usually 2-3 drops will get you 5-7 good hits. After you've been doing it a while you'll know when it's time to drop without even thinking about it. If you have any other questions/problems, feel free to ask. Good luck and keep us posted!

I will add that when you put the cart on the atty, be sure to align it with the bridge of the atty. For me, no matter how I did it I still always ended up with a little melting. Direct dripping is the way to go. I direct drip whenever I can and use cartomizers while driving or other on-the-go activities. The problem of no vapor could be due to the juice not wicking down to the atty. This is a common problem with using carts. If you're going to use the cart, try topping it off every so often (3-4 drops in the cart) to keep it full.

This is an age old problem. There are several differing opinions on what the best cart filler is. I would say however, that an hour on a cart is probably pretty good. I never got one to last that long. You may want to check out direct dripping (links to direct dripping vids below). Attomizers do have a break in period, but that's usually on a 30 mintues to an hour or so. They can be somewhat inconsistent during this time. What is direct dripping How do you get so much vapor

Different strokes for different folks. Took me a while to get use to not having an LED when I switched to the SB. The LED on the Joker gives an indication of how much battery life you have left, and I like that.

Glad it's working out for you! I'd suggest checking out the eGo or getting a PCC. The eGo has batteries that will last 8+ hours (many get a lot more from it). A PCC is a charging case that will allow you to charge regular 510 batteries on-the-go. It's small, about the size of a pack of analogs. I think it will give you 2-3 charges.

Not bad at 6V either.

Now please visit the "I make myself sick" thread. LOL!

I really like the page, but I agree with ROOR. The forum button needs to be distinguished.

Looks like it comes with one of each.

I must have missed that... didn't know you choose.

I couldn't find a code, but heck, two eGos for $100 & free shipping. Was good enough for me.

Nhaler is selling those too. They are nice looking. Nhaler

Ok - you wanna hear something really sick? We're having a family get together soon and I'm planning to give my brother an eGo in hopes of converting him. So, I've been shopping for an eGo. I placed my order on Saturday, but also picked up some drip tips and cartos. Then on Sunday I see that Puresmoker is selling full JOYE EGO kits (two atty, two batts, two cones, charger, etc.) for $50!!! Come on! I ordered two of them. So, I've got 3 eGos on the way. I only vape at 6V!!! Why did I order two extra eGos? Then FTJoe has to post a link to the new TW Tobacco Concentrate flavors. Well, gotta try those, don't I? Sick, sick, sick.

Ordered a 5 pack. Thanks for the code - kept me from having to go look for one.

I agree. Have you tried blowing out the atty? It's been my experience that you get leaks normally when you're vaping very heavily (atty gets real hot) and when there's just a lot of excess juice in it. As for getting juice through the mouth piece, when you remove it to drip, wipe off the condensation - that should help some. Have you considered a drip tip?

Thanks for this! Will have to try some out. DAVE - they have State Express 555!!!

Yeah - that's a classic!

I'm thinking of trying a little Graham Cracker in the Tiramisu. Seems like that would be good.

Ok - looks like the only dorky dork who likes adventure games. Yes, love the adventure games... captured by Zork late 80s and have enjoyed them ever since. First video game system - PONG! Yes, showing my age. Enjoyed growing up in the 80s with my Atari and all those now "classic" games. Could whip some arse in Super Contra on the first NES. I did go through a lengthy spell of Warcraft (never on-line, just playing the game). That's one addictive game... I would find myself staying up very late, and spening my whole weekend playing it. Moving on... mostly enjoy the adventure games.
