I think I recall Kitsune saying she uses DV Menthol from TW (but let's wait and see).
-
Maybe I'll try the cinnamon sunset with Dave's recipe and just add a few drops of the cinnamint??? I think I'll mix up a batch without the cinnamint and try it, then add some cinnamint.
-
Yes, you adding menthol is what inspired me to try using cinnamint (see my latest post in Dave's Cinnamon Sunset thread).

Nice! I'd really like to know more about the tobacco (does it have that musky taste that's so prevelent in other tobacco concentrates?). I had some hickory juice from another vendor that was pretty good, but a little strong and lingered in my atty for a long time. I may try this flavoring... I think it would be good in other mixes at low %.

I tried this, but with a little twist. Instead of cinnamon, I used DV Cinnamint that Burn send me. I took a big ole drag and and instantly began to understand what you menthol smokers are attracted to. The thoat hit just about knocked me over. After I stopped coughing, I vaped it for a while. The cinnimint definitely over powered the Mellow Sunset. I didn't really like it, but may try it again using a much smaller % in the flavor mix (maybe 5-10%).

Maybe a little BLACK MAGIC! It killed my juice! LOL!

Have you noticed any change in TH when you use MTS? Seemed like I got a better TH after I added a drop. Maybe it was just a fluke, I'll experiment with it some more.

As Ben said, the extreme atty at the VT Store is a LR (low resistance) 510. This atty has a lower resistance (1.5ohm) compared to the standard Joye 510 (2.2ohm). The LR atty heat up faster and give you more vapor and better throat hit. The LR atty simulates a high voltage experience without having to purchase a high voltage device. Note that these atty are intended for bigger batteries and should not be used on a regular 510 kit. Many people are using them on the eGo and other battery mods. As for life span, do not expect it to last as long as a regular 510. Some people do report decent life from them, but mostly what I hear is a few days to a couple of weeks.

I don't think I can explain it, but the links are below. MTS Vape Wizard AAA Magic Mask

You may like the Tobacco Americano from TW. I'm really enjoying it.

I made a mix of English Toffee and TW 555 today and it was pretty good. I used a 3ml batch to try out the MTS Vape Wizard and AAA Magic Mask. I added one drop of MTS to my 3ml batch... didn't notice much change in taste, but did seem to get a better throat hit. Then I added one drop of the AAA and blech. Ok - that's exageraging, but just a little. It gave it that musky taste that I get in so many of the tobacco flavors (and I don't like it). I tried vaping for a while, but ended up dumping the mix out. So, the mix was good until I added the AAA. Was wondering if anyone else has used these and what your experience has been. I really can't see the AAA being good with anything, so it would be nice if someone knows a good use for it. Thanks!

Welcome to VT! Can't answer your question though. I use a 302 occasionally (Joye version of the 801) on my VP/PT and I believe what I heard was just to not leave juice in it. If you're dripping, vape it out and don't leave it sitting with juice in it. I don't use the 302 much any more, but don't recall having many leaks when I did.

On my meter, I set the OHM to 200. Touch the red lead to the atty to battery connector (bottom of the atty) and touch the black lead to the atty threads. A standard Joye 510 will read about 2.2 ohm. Some meters have some resistance. Touch your red and black leads to each other and you'll see if your meter had any resistance. Whatever that measures, subtract it from what you got off the atty. For example, many people measure the Joye 510 at 2.4ohm, but the resistance of the meter is 0.2 ohm. My meter doesn't have any resistance.

Do you keep the button press the whole time for the primer puffs? If you're having to do that, then it sounds like the atty probably isn't heating up fast enough (just my theory). It could be dying or still have some buildup. Could also be that you're putting to much juice in it and it can't heat it up fast enough.

3.3V Vs.. 3.7V Kr-808D-1 Batteries With C-E2 Carts
Brian replied to Altmed's topic in New Vapers Forum
Don't see that it would hurt anything... the cartomizers are probably the same, just different battery. You can buy a 5V pass-through for the KR808s so I don't think the voltage is going to hurt it. I have use a KR808 cartomizer on my VP/PT at 5V and they worked fine. I will note that before you posted this, I didn't know there was a difference... just had assumed a KR808 was a KR808. -
Exceptional service for them to send you the replacements before receiving the other ones.

That's what I thought until I saw Jeff's post. Why is there an adapter?

The 302 kit has a 280 mAh battry so significanly less than an eGo at 650 mAh. How long it will last depends on how much you vape. A standard 510 battery is 180 mAh only lasted about 1 to 1.5 hours for me. I suspect the 280 mAh may last 2-3 at best if you're a moderate to heavy vaper.
-
Cool! Now you're tempting me to give LR attys another try.

Great review Burn! Pretty much right in line with my thoughts about it. The gold plating around my atty connector seems to be pretty solid. No chips or nicks. I've had mine since the first release and got the upgrade back on Monday. I don't want to try and make it come off, but like you, I think it would look better without it. I'm really enjoying the Joker AV. I've only used it with a carto at 5V. I do seem to get better flavor from the carto at 5V vs. 6v. I haven't had time to test it with an atty and different volts, but will get around to it.

I would just try direct dripping to start. If you're getting a burnt taste you're probably not getting enough juice to the atty. The carts tend to not work so good, but if you do want to use them there some members that use them and can help more with that. Direct Dripping How do you get so much vapor If you have a small bottle, you can mix the clove and vanilla. Mix a small amount and see how it comes out.

Oh - Sorry, thought you were talking about the sweetener.

Without my vape, I don't think I would go very long without getting analogs. Two weeks after I started vaping we had a 3 day power outage (snow storm) and I had to go back to analogs (blech).

That's great Dave! Really glad you finally found what you've been looking for. Looks like I'll have to try it also. Be sure to let me know how the other two flavors are.
