I went through a spell of getting juice from all over the place, but never found anything as satisfying as VT juice. And to show you how much individual taste differs, while Jeff lists Vaperite organic juice as #2, I did not like it at all.

When Did You Realize That Vaping Was For You?
Brian replied to Kodiak's topic in General Vaping Discussion
My first drag on the 510 was a pretty good indication that it was going to work for me. I received my 510 on a Tuesday (December 1st) with a bunch of 18mg juice. Before I got my 510 I also ordered some VT juice. The first few days I only used my 510 in the evening after work. By Thursday while at work smoking analogs I was missing my vape. Got my VT 24mg juice and as soon as I tried it I knew it was over. That Saturday was the first day I went all day without smoking and that was the end. Two weeks later I went back to analogs for three days due to a power outage (snow storm) and it sucked! Haven't had an analog since. -
I have 375ml of 100mg and 250ml of 48mg.

Then it's time to replace your avatar.

Ahh - I'm with you now. Sorry - little slow sometimes.

Congrats! I tried vanilla couple of times but didn't care much for it. I plan to mix some with my coffee flavors though one of these days. Bet that would be good.

I use Tenergy LiFePO4 batteries. Battery Junction - Tenergy LiFePO4 I've been using these in my SB for about 4 months and love it. No going back now. You will blow through more attys though. I'm not aware of any other places to get them... I think the only other vendors are in Canada and UK. I love my SB. I actually two of them... use one with the SB/PT.

Looks like three of thier flavors are oil based... Lime, Orange and Tangerine. I have two of them.
-
Ahh - Thanks Roor. Didn't notice that in the description. Thought all the PA flavors were water soluble. I'll have to check the rest of my PA flavors and see if any others are oil based.

I was talking about the attys. If they are the attys that came with the eGo, they are Janty attys and are also under warratny.

I don't think so... it The Perfumer's Apprentice.

Figured I'd start trying some of the other flavors I have. Mixed up a batch using Tangerine, Mallow and a splash of Lemon-Lime. Used all VG. I gave it a good shake and left it to sit for a bit, and when I looked at it again there was a layer of orange color on top. Shook it up again and a few minutes later it had done the same thing. Third time - same thing. I can actually sit and watch the orange colored layer forming on top. I'm going to leave it over night, but I suspect I'll still see that orange layer in the morning. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Will diluting the VG with distilled water help? I reckon I'll try a batch with PG also and see what happens. The tangerine smells really good!

If you're using a 510, yes, you want to align the widest part of the end of the cart with the bridge of the atty. Even then, I have had some slight melting. If you're direct dripping, you can cut off the lower portion of the cart (just a little below the vent holes). You don't want to do this if you're actually using the cart with filler.

Some who have had atty last a long time will dispute it, but I still say that attys are hit and miss. You'll get some that will last a week or so and some that will last a month or more. I actually had pretty good luck with attys until I went to high voltage. I have not heard any talk of the eGo shortening the life of the 510 atty. If you're serious about buying bulk, Puresmoker.com has a 50% discount if you buy 25 attys. That makes the attys $5 each and also puts you over the free shipping amount. Thier 510 attys are genuine Joye 510s. They have regular and LR. Where did you get your eGo? I don't remember if you had the Joye or the Janty. If you have the Janty eGo, contact the supplier as they have a six month warranty on attys.

What voltage? For me, once you burn a carto and taste filler, it's done. I've been using them at 6V and as long as I keep topping them off (add 10 drops every so often) they've been working great.

I learned it here. I knew how to test volts, but had never tested resistance (ohms) before.

Welcome! I didn't have enough hands to hold it where it could be seen and push the button to take the pic. Had to have my son push the button for me.

On the carto or atty, the black goes on the outside of the threads (the part that screws into the battery). The red one goes near the hole in the center (you can put it in the hole, but really just needs to touch the bottom of the atty).

-
You test them when they're not connected to the battery. Touch the red lead to the bottem of the carto where the carto would touch the battery connector. Touch the black lead to the threads on the carto.

Even two weeks out of each one would be good.

Just a tip - if you have a precision screwdriver set, the 2.4mm screwdriver works much better than the little one that come with the Joker (1.4mm I think). I had a hard time getting that little one in the groove and keeping there while turning it. The 2.4mm one fits the hole just right so it won't come off the groove.
