  1. I'm with you on the burnt taste... that's why I gave up on them. I haven't tried any since, so maybe it's better now. Since there are so many people using them, I has to be better. A regular 2.2 ohm Joye 510 atty at 5V generates about 11 watts. A 1.5 ohm LR atty generates about 9 watts. A 3.2ohm atty at 5V generates about 8 watts.
  2. I think they were 1.5, but that was a long time ago so don't really remember. I gave them away.
  3. I got a couple of eGo kits recently. Each of the four batteries only took about 10 minutes on the charger before going green.
  4. I would contact Janty and ask. Janty does honor the 6 month warranty.
  5. Goodprophets Wordup Indyvaporshop
  6. I use a drip tip on my cartos... keeps me from getting juiced and, as JRVapes said, keeps me from burning my lips since I only vape at 5-6V.
  7. Varies by manufacturer. Standard Joye 510 is 2.2 ohm. I think SLB and others are around 3.0. Joye LR 510 is 1.5. Others range from 1.7-2.0. That's just what I've seen around.
  8. I don't think there's a limit... just shoot them an email and ask. If you got it from VT, you'll need to give Chris permission to transfer your order info.
  9. Check out the link below... that explains it pretty good. The higher the resistance, the less heat. My link
  10. No. Not sure why, but they are bigger than the Tenergy protected batteries and the LiFePO4s. The Tenergy PROTECTED RCR123As (900mAh) are 34mm high The Tenergy LiFePO4s (750mAh)are 34.5mm high The 16340s (800 mAh) I got from Madvapes are 36mm and will not fit in the SB. These do fit in my Joker though.
  11. I got some 16340s from madvapes and they will not fit in the SB. Go with the ones Jeff posted, or the Tenergy LiFePO4s.
  12. That's what I've heard also, but based on the chart that Burn posted (which I seem to have lost the link for), it didn't seem to be that big of a difference.
  13. Yep - have had great service and products from altsmoke. Do let us know you like the SB. I have two of them, and two PTs and a DBSB and an Omega.
  14. I think Dave has posted a few times trying to get people to post recipies. I posted the only recipe I've come up with that i really like (Peanut Butter Tobacco). I haven't ventured much into other flavors yet, but even with commercial juice, I had two or three that I used all the time... not much variety.
  15. There seems to be two classes here... those who say they are great and work better, and those who can't tell a difference. Based on the info Burn posted, I'm finding it hard to see how they could be better. I do have one, but haven't tried it yet since I don't do 3.7v any more. I do have a couple of LR attys stashed away... may be a good time to try them with the high drain.
  16. Ikenvape has a 2.0 ohm 510 LR atty that I've heard good things about. Just something you may want to check out. I haven't used a LR atty since the first two I got from nhaler. I've pretty happy with vaping 5-6V.
  17. I've had some with no reading, which I consider dead. I've also had some with a high reading (I've seen some at 160+ ohm and some at 30+ohm). They are pretty much dead also, but I have been able to revive these attys using a dry burn at 5V.
  18. Vaprlife has Joker instructions on it's site now. Not much to it, but it does say what you just confirmed... the voltae drop under load is 0.1V.
  19. Yes, with the extras he includes, it's not bad. I've ordered from Goodprophets a few times... they are a good supplier. Rob seems like a good guy.
  20. It's been a while since I've used one of those batteries, but it seems like I use to get 8-10 hours on them. I think I read somewhere that the rating is a little overstated (typical of the Chinese batteries) and it's really in the 700-800 range.
  21. Are you talking about a cart, or a cartomizer (carto)? Yes, I've gotten great flavor from cartomizers.
