  1. But don't forget I'm using 6V most of the time. It will all depend on how much you vape. Before I switched to HV, I had a carto last about 7 hours before refilling. HV just goes through the juice faster.
  2. I was looking around at another forum and what I'm seeing is that this is not a KR808. Sorry to say, I was not able to find out much about getting supplies anywhere else. Even more sorry to say that every post I saw about esmoke was quite bad. Hopefully someone will be able to help with where to get the right cartos for it. Maybe a supplier will jump in here.
  3. Since I don't use them regularly, someone else will probably have a better answer then I do. I just try not to go very long before adding some juice... since I'm using 5-6V I'm careful not to burn them. I have a 45 minute drive to work. If I fill up a carto with 30 drops, vape moderately on the drive, I'll can usually add 8-10 drops after I get to work.
  4. The first 510 cartos to come out had hard tops and they were glued in. With those, I did use this method and it works quite well. With the soft caps, I just find it easier/quicker to drip into it from the top.
  5. I haven't had one die yet, they just start to get a funky taste, but I don't use them constantly so they usually sit around getting stale. I have heard of soaking them in everclear or vodka and they continue to work fine... even just using hot water. However, I still think that if you let it get a little dry and burn the filler, you can never get good taste back. Attomizers are considered disposable also. I figure a pack of 5 cartos is less than $10 so you're probably looking at $2 a week if you can make one last a week. I do use mine with a drip tip because they can get quite warm at HV. From what I could tell from the one I took apart, the coil is wrapped in a material that I would say is very absorbant and has a high heat tolerance (won't burn up easily). This material keeps the coil from burning the filler.
  6. I have to agree with Chris and Jolly. Most of my time at ECF is spent reading supplier info and watching for new products. There are some good people over there, but there are the bad apples who attack people are just all around know-it-alls and smart_____.
  7. I need to make sure I get some with the wide hole. I now have three different kinds and they all get juice build up which eventualy gets in my mouth. I'm still using my tailpipe cart mod. I do use a drip tip on my cartos, but don't drip through them.
  8. Me? I'm just a rookie follow the path laid before me.
  9. Haven't used it yet... will probably be this weekend. I'll try it in my Peanut Butter Tobacco mix. I did smell it and it does smell like cotton candy.
  10. The ones I have are about 2.9ohm. One thing to be careful of is not to burn them. Keep them wet. That's why I top off regularly (usually have to add about 10 drops). Maybe just me, but once you start to get the burned filler taste, it's there to stay.
  11. I was going to say bash it, beat it, drill it, etc...
  12. Looks like allbattery and batteryjunction only have the ultrafire. Madvapes carries them, but are out of stock. Dealextreme has them, but I've never ordered from there. Dealextreme Dealextreme Charger I'd just go with the ultrafire - I've had both and never noticed any difference.
  13. Careful - that other end piece come right out... careful not to inhale it.
  14. Good to know. I was planning to get some of the Ultrafire 16340s, but was curious about the AW ones. Guess I won't fool with those.
  15. See post #3 linked below for pics. It may surprise you, but Dave has gone to cartos pretty much exclusively. You may want to PM him and get his opinion. He's really busy so don't know if he'll be reading this thread, but if you PM I'm sure he'll be glad to hear from you. Heck, PM me your address and I'll mail you a couple. Carto Guts
  16. The thread linked below gets really good starting at post #27. Burn, Kitsune and DDave provide some good info. I started with a DIY kit from DIY FlavorShack. Took me a while to really get started, but I've now found a few things that I make and really like. I've been vaping my own stuff for several weeks now. DIY Mixing

    My Bad.

And don't forget "to protect the children"!!!
  18. The original Joker kit was not variable voltage. They dropped the price with the new version. I agree with what you're saying though... $109 for the base unit is a good price.
  19. Always been $109 I think. Don't recall it ever showing as $99. On july 18th I posted that it was $109 in another thread... post #6. My link It's okay - you're allowed to make ONE mistake. LOL!
  20. The digital voltmeter is available now - just ordered one. Vaprlife - DVM
  21. They've been working great for me - even at 5 and 6v. I never could get a cart to work good. I still direct drip with a regular atty most of the time, but the cartos are a great substitute when you can't drip. I had a 9 hour drive for vacation a few weeks ago and the cartos we great.
  22. You can put about 30 drops in them. I use them at 5 or 6V while driving. I have a 45 minute drive to work and love the cartos for that drive every day. You don't want to run them dry, so I still add juice every so often, but not constantly like dripping.
  23. Just FYI - I found out that TPA Cotton Candy is just Ethyl Maltol... 10% mixed with PG. I have some of that so I'll give it a try.
