Where did you get your cartos from? I'm wondering if they may be LR cartos and just going through the jucie faster. I've never had one taste like that. As for your parents, probably a KR808 or 510 with cartos. If you think they'd be frustrated with using attys, since you use a 510, you could keep the attys from any kit they get and replace them with cartos.

I've tried RY4 from a few places, but it's been a while. I do recall that they were all quite different, some sweet, some not. That's of course no help to you, but I'm just agreeing with what you said... all RY4 is not created equal.

Brand new one is only $55 now.

Thing is... Kragax - don't you have a vyper also? For me, I got the same tigher draw on my Spade that I get with the Joker, so I would have thought you'd have similar results with the Vyper.
-
Yes. I use cartos on my Joker AV.
-
I've never blocked the hole, but I do think that the fitting on the Joker seems to give you a tigher draw on the carto compared to my SB and some other 3.7 mods.

I've actually heard nothing but good things about HealthCabin, but have never ordered from them.

I don't know what the arrangement is, but I would guess that Janty sells the rights to Joye to market them differently. Chris probably has more insight on that. With the lax (or non-existent) copyright laws over there, it's probably in Janty's best interest to get something out of letting Joye market them differently.

Analog Free For A Month, Want To Switch It Up
Brian replied to mrsmalone's topic in New Vapers Forum
First, I forgot to say, Welcome to Vapor Talk! Higher voltage heats the atty more and generally will give you more vapor and better throat hit. Early on, the choice was pretty much 3.7V (standard ecig), and 5V or 6V mods. Now you can choose anything in between 3.7 and 6+ with a variable voltage mod. You can adjust it find what works best for you. Anything in particular you're interested in as far as an ecig goes? If you're wanting to keep it small, eGo would probably be your best bet. Go with an ego, and if you want to experienc high voltage then get some low resistance attys. LR attys have a lower resistance than regular attys so they heat up faster which simulates the high voltage experience. -
Janty leads the way with the innovation and research, Joye manufactures them. I believe Janty actually created the eGo.

I used to drink coffee all day long up until I went to bed and never had any problems sleeping. Over the past several months I've cut way back on coffee (because of the heart flutters) and don't drink it in the evenings any more. Now on the rare occasion that I do drink a cup in the evening, I do have problems sleeping.

Analog Free For A Month, Want To Switch It Up
Brian replied to mrsmalone's topic in New Vapers Forum
Well, if you're just looking for better battery life, go with a Joye eGo. If you're looking to try different voltages, I would try the Joker (vaprlife) or the Buzz (notcigs). Both of these units have variable voltage that you can adjust from 3.7V up to 6V. Another great PV is the vaprlife PT. This is great if you spend a lot of time at your computer or near a plug. Gives you time to charge up all your batteries. Edited because my fingers move faster than my brain. -
And don't forget, most suppliers have a 5-10% discount code floating around somewhere. The VT store home page shows "LOVETOVAPE" as a discount code.
-
Joye makes the Janty eGo. They also make the TW Tornado. All the same.
-
The pic on liquidnicotine appears to be gold banded. Has anyone ever seen a gold banded eGo? Mine are all silver. I think the Riva is gold banded.
-
My three kits all had them.
-
Not always... some only include one cone and one atty and sell a little cheaper. Still, I'd stick with a reputable supplier.
-
Hard to say. Looks like bixboxstore ships from China, so it may take a while to get your order and you'll probably pay more for shipping. I have heard of liquidnicotine, but have never ordered from them. Joye is pretty strengent about the price it allows distrbutors to sell the eGo for.
-
For the price, the eGo is a much better deal. The batteries on a regular Joye 510 kit only last 1-2 hours at best between charges. Both are made by Joye.

Or are you following me?

You can leave it sit. I would recommend watching this video on direct dripping. What is Direct Dripping

Welcome to VT! Since you came right out the gate with battery life, I would go with the Joye eGo. The batteries generally last 8+ hours and a kit will come with two batteries. For nicotine, I smoked 1 1/2 packs a day for 20 years and 24mg was right for me. I would start with 24mg unless you smoke less, in which case probably go with 18mg. The MG is mg per ml, so 24mg mean there's 24mg of nic per 1 ml of juice. For backup I would get some extra attomizers as they can last anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. Once you get started, I'd pick up some spare batteries down the road, and whenever you order juice just pick up an extra atty or two to keep an ample supply. Feel free to ask any questions... if there's anything you need help with, don't hesitate to ask. We've all been where you are and it can be a little overwhelming at first.

Chris runs an excellent forum here and has great moderators. There's not much bickering going on as we all try to be respectful and helpful. I lurk around some other forums and I know what you mean. And I'll say it one more time... if it hadn't been for VT, my 510 probably would have ended up in the trash can.

The atty does affect TH too because they are different ohms. Low Resistance attys generally run from 1.5 to 2.0 ohm. A standard Joye 510 is 2.2 ohm. Most other brands of 510 are around 2.8 - 3.0 ohm. 801s and 901s are generally around 3.0-3.2 ohm. The lower ohm atty heat up quicker and vaporize the juice faster, so bigger TH.
