I would be cautious about using these. Fish are sensitive to toxins, which is why it's pretty safe to use the Fluval and Blue Foam. You don't know what is in these other materials - stuff you don't want to inhale.

You don't have to have a drip tip to direct drip, just remove the cart to drip and replace the cart to to take a drag. Also, no threads need, the drip tip fits in the atty and has a rubber gasket around it to keep it in place. The juice will not run out with a drip tip... keep in mind you're only adding 2-3 drops at a time when dripping. If you do direct drip, be sure to remove any filler that is in the cart. If you're dripping while using a regular cart, keep a tissue handy and wipe off any condensation around the end each time you remove it to drip. That will help prevent any juice/condensation from getting in your mouth (known as getting juiced).

Your taste buds may be damaged from years of smoking. Most people report taste buds comming back after a few weeks. Some take longer, and some after several months still have problems finding juice they can taste. Don't get discouraged if you can't taste it... give it some time. Where did you get your juice from? No, don't want to burn the atty dry. You don't have to risne it to change flavors, but some flavors take longer to get through when you change. However, if you want, you can rinse it out, blow through it real good to get any excess water out, and leave it to dry over night.

I use cartos on my Joker most of the time, but sometimes wish I could use my 302 on it. Last time I tried to use a 302 with an adapter on my SB, it shorted out or something and my batteries got very hot. Been afraid to use a 510 to 801 adapter sicne. Hmmm, with the Joker's safety shut-off, it may be safe to try???

Yep - genuine Joye 510, 2.2 ohm. Maybe I'm just imagining it, but I can tell a difference between 5, 6 and 7.5V. If I just put in a couple of drop and don't vape, I can hear the difference in the sizzle. On my volt meter, is the DCA setting for checking current (amps)?

Moved to General E Smoking Discussion. My wife still smokes. She's tried ecigs, but can't get her to make the switch. They seem to really irritate her throat, but even when I found juice that seem not to irritate her too bad, she only takes a few puffs every now and then. Doesn't seem to me like she really gives it a chance.

This is seriously confusing me. What this this says is 4.4v is the maximum I can get at 2amp with a 2.2ohm atty. If that's the case, why can I tell a difference when I change from 5 to 6 to 7 volts on the adapter? Just when I thought I understood all this.

Don't see any problems, but be careful with that 100mg nic. I have some 100mg nic, but got it for my FDA ban stash. I use 48mg most of the time for mixing since I vape 24mg. Let the mix sit over night before making any judgement on taste. I heard this before and found out it is sometimes true. The flavor can blend better after sitting for a while. I've used the PA hazelnut and found it was pretty strong. I tried to make hazelnut coffee and all I could taste was hazelnut. Good though. While I never thought I'd like to vape peanut butter, I found it is an excellent base for tobacco mixes. Seriously, really good, so you may want to throw that in your order also and give it a try.
