The few times I've done it, I got the water boiling and then lower them in with a big spoon. You don't want to let them set on the bottom of the pot, keep them elevated.

I don't know if it's the same in the Janty kit, but probably is.
-
Yes, you posted at the same time I was posting a pic of mine. Sorry a little fuzzy, I shake to bad for my camera to get a good focus on it. LOL! But you can still make out that it's just like yours.

I got two Joye eGos from Puresmoker and one from VaporKings and all three are the same as yours, but I had never noticed until you pointed it out. Joyetech manufactures the Janty eGo, Joye eGo and the TW Tornado. All three are the same thing. PS - Welcome to Vapor Talk!

Some times carts do not do a good job at releasing the juice. That's why so many of us direct drip. You can have a full cart, but still not be getting juice to the atty. If you take the cart off and push the button for a second you should not be able to see the coil turn red. If you see the coil turn red only after a second or two, there's not enough jucie in it the atty. Anyhow, if you can't get rid of the taste, I would definatley contact the supplier.

The metallic taste usually comes from not having enough eliquid in the atty. If you're dripping, I would try an extra drop or two, test, add another drop, etc. If that doesn't help, you can try running the atty under hot water (tap water) to rinse it out real good. Blow it out and turn it upside down on a paper towel and let it dry out over night. If they are both doing it, I would say it's probably because the atty isn't getting enought juice (hopefully that's all it is).

Ah - so you already vape. Well in that case, I think you'll love the Silver Bullet. I have two of them and also use them with the Silver Bullet Pass Through. I've been using mine pretty much non-stop since early April and have NEVER had any problems with it. It's a beast!!! When I first got mine and felt it in my hand I thought, "no way will I carry that around". I was wrong. It sat on my desk here at home for a week or two before I finally started taking it to work. I quickly fell in love with it, the size and weight are nice, not like I initially expected. Just to note - I have the Black Silver Bullet (BSB).

The first unit I saw in the vid was the VP1. It's made and sold by vaprlife.com. The have quite a few newer models now. Vaprlife

There use to be a list of terms around here somewhere... we should probably put a new one together. If you click on the link below and see post #11 (by ddavelarsen), Dave did a good job listing some of the most common terms. Terms - Post #11 As for what to start with, honestly, I would go with a Joye eGo and then look into a mod (VP1, SB, Buzz, Joker, etc) down the road. The VP1 is a nice unit, but the battery life isn't that great (only uses a 360 mah battery). The eGo battery is 650 mah (and you can get 900 mah ones) and will last twice as long as the VP1. I use a Black Silver Bullet and love it, but you're going to spend a lot more getting started than you would just buying an eGo kit. When you buy a mod, you'll need batteries, attomizers, chargers, etc. You can get an eGo kit for less than $70 and it's two full units (two batteries, two attomizers, two cones and charger). As for eliquid, taste is subjective and you'll get a lot of answers for that. My favorite eliquids are the Vapor Talk liquids. Welceom to Vapor Talk! Feel free to ask any questions.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! You can buy a drip tip when you order, or you can pull the filler out of the carts, remove the cart to drip. You've made a good choice in the eGo. Below are just a few places you can order from... there are many more. Check out the supporting suppliers (bottom of the forum) and the certified supplier list (link at top of forum). Electronicstix ($70 Full eGo Kit - Use VTALK10 for 10% discount) Vaporgalaxy ($70 Full eGo Kit - Use VTALK for 10% discount) Cignot ($69 Full kit) Puresmoker ($60 Full eGo Kit)

It's always good to have backups.

Looking on youtube, there are some vids of people using the Joye 510 attomizer on the Blue. My link

The Revolution is a KR808 model. If you're looking to buy prefilled cartomizers for the most part, I would definitely go with the Revolution. There are a lot of places to buy prefilled carts and a lot of flavor options. Places like vapor4life sell prefilled carts and the same flavored eliquid so you can buy prefilled carts and then refill them with the same flavor. The KR808 would definitely be the most hassle free option. This may be the best fit for your Mom, based on what you're saying. I've used a KR808 and they work well. There are a lot of happy KR808 users out there. On the other had, with the 510 model you have the option to use cartos or a regular 510 attomizer, which makes it more versatile. However, I've not seen a lot of prefilled 510 cartos around, so you will be having to fill your own most likely.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong (I hope), but it looks like the Blu us compatable with the 510 threads (even though the atty is more like the 306 in style). I would go with the 510 or the 306. I don't know what an M801 is, but the 801 you're seeing on most sites is not for the Blu. Attomizer Compatability

Those are the ones. The batteries are $3.95 each if you buy them seperately. Looks like a good deal to me, with charger. I would add two additional batteries... you'll want at least 4.

Where To Buy 30Ml (24Mg Nic) E Juice?
Brian replied to bekindtoyurbuds's topic in General Vaping Discussion
You still may want to buy smaller bottles until you know you like it. Would hate to have 30ml of eliquid that you don't like. -
Another vote for the Joye eGo.

Most orders will get to you within 2-3 days from anywhere in the country so I wouldn't worry about supplier location to much. Wordup is the only place I know of that has free shipping no matter what the $ value of the order.

Ran across this today - thought you may be interested. Liquidxpress

Just FYI - The 900mah are probably genuine Joyetech batteries (the real eGo) depending on where you get them. Note that this is not a Joye battery. However, I'm sure Jeffrey (wordup) will stand behind his products.

The one linked below is for a 510 atty and compatible with the eGo cone. I'm sure there are others around. I'm sure there are others around, but haven't looked much. Wordup

Brian replied to TheGreen's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Now this one I can get on board with! I've got some of those around here somewhere. Thanks! (moved to E-Cig How to Vids)
