  1. Don't feel that way, we all started at the beginning. I'm not sure what model you're using. Is it a three piece model (battery, attomizer, cartridge) or a two piece unit (the cart and attomizer are one piece)? Is it the NJoy Pro?
  2. It's hard to explain, you'll understand when you see it. Inside the atty there is a wire mesh that covers the coil, it's called the bridge. The end of the cart is shaped so that it will go over the bridge when aligned correctly. The link below is to a pic in the gallery that shows the inside of an atty. My link
  3. They are plastic, but if you align them with the bridge of the atty they shouldn't burn.
  4. I've tried several, HV attys, BE112, 302, SLB 510, but in the end I came back to the Joye 510. It just rocks. Now, I'm only averaging two weeks per atty, but it's golden.
  5. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Can't argue with getting an ego. You'll definatley want to get eliquid and refill carts... that will save you a ton of money.
  6. LOL! Says Joye eGo but shows a pick of the T-Rex. Wonder if they just have the wrong pic, or are really selling the knock-off as a Joye?
  7. Welcome to VT! Never tried Tasty Vapor, but I can tell you that you're going to love the ego.
  8. Nice! As much as I love my Omega, I just couldn't break myself from the Silver Bullet. The Omega is a sweet device though. As for the packaging, I agree with you. When I got my first BSB the hole in the envelope was so big I didn't even have to open the evnelope, just pulled everything out the hole. Just about the whole corner of the envelope was ripped off. My DBSB and SB/PT package was ripped open also, and so was my Omega, but not as bad as the first.
  9. What PV and atty are you using? You may get a better throat hit from a different kind of attomizer... 510 or LR atty. And Welcome to VT!
  10. I think most prefilled cartos are sold for about the same price as empty ones. However, you can refill them at least 3-4 times (some people use them much longer). Prefilled carts hold 20-30 drops (about 1ml). You can get a 10ml bottls of juice for around $8. If you can find a prefilled flavor you like, I would see if the vendor also sell the same flavor of juice so that you can refill it with the same flavor. Other wies, buy empty cartos and fill with juice you know you like.
  11. The extreme atty in the VT store is a LR atty. LR mean Low Resistance. These attys heat up faster so the create more vapor. You'll bet more vapor and better throat hit. The experience is similar to vaping at higher voltages. Most standard ecigs run at 3.7V. There are many mods that allow you to vape at higher voltages than then... generaly anywhere from 3.7 to 6V (or higher).
  12. They may have gone heavy on the caramel. I've had some caramel eliquids that just had an awful burnt taste.
  13. You can fill out a support ticket and ask, Chris will get back to you pretty fast. Filling cartos is really easy though. You can pop the top off and drip 20-30 drops in and you're good to go. Or you can use the "condom" method, which is also easy. They can be refilled 3-4 times at least.
  14. Oops, discount will not work for SB or Omega. Sorry. Try ecf5 for a 5% discount. That's the only one I know of for altsmoke.
  15. I think I ordered my 18650 battereis with my BSB, but I already had a charger. The price altsmoke has is reasonable. Oh - if this is your first order, there do have a discount code. Check thier site.
  16. Shipping is fast. Altsmoke is in Ohio, so not very far from you. Just about every ecig related order I've placed has made it to me in 2-3 days from all over the country. Altsmoke has excellent customer service and they'll get it out the door quickly. Blank carts usually do have the filler in them.
  17. I've heard good things about the premium cartomizers from vapor4life. I haven't followed the KR series that closely, so not much help there. If you don't mind filling your own cartomizers, you may look into getting a Joye eGo and some cartomizers. The eGo uses the 510 attomizer and cartomizers.
  18. Well, at least you were able to taste the juice. Taste is very subjective, and there have only been a few juices that I REALLY like, and I've tried many. I've tried juices with excellent reviews and either gave them away or trashed them. You'll find something, it just may take you some time.
  19. That looks like a KR808D-1 also. You should be able to get a standard kit for around $50. The Revolution at the Vapor Talk Store has one for $50. VT Revolution You may also want to check out vapor4life. Also, the supporting suppliers at the bottom of the forum and the certified supplier list (link at top of forum). There are a lot of KR808 models (as well as others) that get rebranded and sold and crazy prices.
  20. I would get two batteries. They can take several hours to charge so you'll always have one ready to go.
  21. The Duo Pro looks like a regular KR808D-1 (just over priced). Can you post a link to the "Premium" so we can have a look? I've used a KR808D-1 in the past and they work pretty good, especially if you mostly intested in using cartomizers.
  22. HV is High Voltage. You can use two 3v batteries in your SB for 6 volt vaping. That's what I vape. VT = Vapor Talk. Vapor Talk (Vapor Talk Store). You can use Tenergy LiFePO4s or the Tenergy RCR123A 900 mah batteries in the SB instead of the single 18650.
