  1. Funny that you post this now because over the weekend I put a 302 on my Joker with the adapter and it works fine. I had to crank it up to 5.5V to get a good hit, which is the same voltage that the VP/PT puts out. I've been enjoying it pretty good. Still don't get the same hit as the 510, but it's good. Makes we want a new Joker with the 801 fitting because I hate using adapters. I'm still a little worried about using the 302 with an adapter after my Silver Bullet incident, so I'm keeping a close eye on it. I use to use the 302 on my VP/PT all the time and loved it. And like you said, my experience is that it leaks a lot less than the 510.
  2. I've tried several different jucies (from different suppliers) with "caramel" and always get that burnt taste.
  3. I've got some 1.7ohm cartos that are quite bad. I got burning filler taste right off the bat. While I'm sorry they're not working for you, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that think they're awful. Maybe someone else has tried some LR ones that work. I've heard good things about the 1.8ohm ones and the 2.0 ohm ones. I think I'll just stick to the regular cartos at 5V when I need to use a carto.
  4. I think it's just all flavoring, unless they've added other stuff lately.
  5. Red lead touches the bottom of the atty (you can put it in the hole on the bottom), black lead touches the threads.
  6. Keep in mind that the cartomizers are refillable. Generally, you can refill them at least 3-4 times.
  7. I think you just need to run it under hot water and blot it dry with a paper towel. However, bad juice can linger in your attomizer for some time.
  8. What attomizer are you using? If you don't like TH, you may want to try a different attyomizer (302/801 or 901). Lower nic will also reduce TH. Also, you may want to try VG or a VG/PG mix as VG seems to give a smoother (less harsh) TH while also creating more vapor. I use Vapor Talk Tobacco and a few DIY mixes that I've come up with, but don't get into all the different flavors. Most of what I vape is tobacco flavored.
  9. Altsmoke is discontinuing the KR series, so they're selling them real cheap right now. Here are a few links: VaporTalk Altsmoke Goodprophets Vapor4Life Many suppliers carry them.
  10. I think KR is just the model number (KR808-D1), not sure if it means anything. You can buy KR808 cartos all over, including the Vapor Talk Store. Some places off the top of my head include vapor4life, goodprophets and electronicstix. Check the supporting suppliers (bottom of the forum) and the certified supplier list (link at top of forum). If it does turn out to be a KR808, you'll have lots of options for replacement cartos.
  11. The delux kit uses cartomizers (and is not compatable with the premium kit, which uses attomizers). There's a PDF, that has some pics. Looks like a KR, but I reckon you can't really tell if the threads are the same or not. Welcome to Vapor Talk ham7137!
  12. Some have the in-line battery, so those are 3.7v.
  13. I've had my Joker AV for a couple of months now also and no issues. The Turbo only uses 300 mah batteries, so you won't get great life out of them. For that alone, if you go with vaprlife, I'd go with the Joker over the Turbo.
  14. I'm sure if I had Everclear on my desk it would "evaporate" too. LOL! I wouldn't consider having some nic a step back. You've done way more than many of us are even willing to try. I vape 24mg and have made no effort to cut down at all.
  15. $12.95 at ENS, but I can't vouch for it. Looks like it has a pretty long/thick cord. ENS
  16. No help either. TotallyWicked is the only place I've seen it, but haven't done any research on it.
  17. Are you asking about the Precise 10440 from Super-T? The 10440 battery is about 350 mah and should last 3-6 hours depending on how heavily you use it. I don't have one, but I do have other mods that use the 10440 and that's about what I was getting.
  18. Does it gurgle when you take a drag? I usually put a paper towel over the battery end and blow through it to get out the excess juice. Could be a bad carto. Does it fire every time? I've had some that were weak and didn't fire every time. Had to pull down the connector with a paper clip, just a bit, and it worked fine. You could check the ohms to see if it's good (got a volt meter?). I have heard of some duds, but haven't had one yet.
  19. I think there is some concern about what else "could" get in the juice. There are a lot of suppliers popping up and I doubt very many of them have sterile labs. You just don't know who they are or what the mixing conditions are. I think it's a valid concern. The person mixing the juice could have a serious drooling problem and you'd never know. LOL! Or they could be a cat lover and have a few cats rubbing around them while mixing. You just don't know. So really, for me, it's not about the price, it's about not knowing who's making it. However, you can say the same thing about any juice supplier, USA, China or otherwise.
  20. The VaporTalk Revolution is a KR808. Last I heard, Rob was trying to reduce his selection... he just had to many items to manage. Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but makes sense. I think it's a good move. I like VaporKings, but you have to do some looking to find what you're looking for on his site.
  21. Can you post a link to what ecig you have?
  22. This is a really good vid that explains in detail how to use a 510. The eGo uses the 510 attomizer, so this is basically the same as the eGo except the eGo has bigger batteries that will last you much much much longer.
