  1. I belive the regular 510 batteries are 180 mah and the mega batteries are 280 mah.
  2. My primary PV is the Silver Bullet (black). I use two 3.0V Tenergy LiFePO4s for 6V. Under load you get about 5.2V. You'll have to order the batteries seperately. Altsmoke SB Battery Junction Kit I also have a variable voltage Joker from Vaprlife. The also have a fixed volt version (5V). If you were to go with the Joker, I would just buy the unit and order batteries elsewhere. Vaprlife Battery Junction - Joker Batts And as Dayvape pointed out, there's the Buzz, and on the lower piced side, check out some box mods. What units have you looked at? Was there something specific that you were interested in?
  3. Most eGo users report 8+ hours on the standard battery and a kit comes with two batteries. As for all the other mega stuff, I don't think you need it. I'd start with a kit and look into other options down the road. Yes, carts are refillable, and you may want to check out direct dripping (and get a drip tip if that interests you). I'll warn you - once your Dad see's how the ego perfoms compared to the Blu, you're gonna have to hide it from him. What is Direct Dripping
  4. Congrats! Glad you're liking it.
  5. V3. Although I got it for my wife (she never used it), I did try it out and was very disappointed. Pretty happy with everything else though.
  6. Welcome to Vapor Talk! I've ordered from Cignot a few times... excellent service.
  7. Have you tried a different brand of juice? This is odd, so wondering if it could be the juice (maybe it's gunking up the atty). When I first started vaping I had some issues (not bad taste, but low vapor and clogging attys and it turned out to be the juice. Months later I pulled out that juice and it did the same thing, so I threw it away.
  8. I drip to fill, but I take it off the battery and put a condom on the battery end first. I did try dripping into it while on the Joker and it ran right out, like you said. Don't do that any more.
  9. This is a way over priced kit. You can get a 510 or KR808 kit for $50 or less (and this will be two full ecigs). Stay away from any vendor that claims a catridge is equal to two packs of cigarettes. What you're looking at is probably a KR808 model just rebranded and being sold at a crazy pirce. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Feel free to ask any questions.
  10. I only use a carto for my 45 minute drive to work. I add 10 drops before I leave for work in the morning. Switch to a 510 atty at work all day. Switch back to the carto and add 10 drops for the drive home. My daily ritual. LOL!
  11. I used to do that a lot, but not so much any more. I liked VT Tobacco all day and Sweet Dawn in the evening. (moved to general discussion)
  12. What I meant was try putting a drip tip on your cartomizer. I think that gives you better air flow when you take a drag and creates better vapor (as I said before, it could just be my imagination, but I seem to get good vapor from cartomizers with drip tip).
  13. I pretty much only use a few flavors and the mix well, so I don't worry about it. However, I did buy some of the atty tubes (link below) a while back and think they'd work well also. They are a little bigger than they look, so you can see THIS pic to get a better idea about the size. Indyvapor - atty tube
  14. Another thing you'll see with VG is better vapor production. You may want to try a mix (80/20 or 70/30 pg/vg) to see what you think. I've been running about 30% and like it. I'm still getting good TH, just seems a little less harsh.
  15. Are you using a drip tip on it? May just be my imagination, but seems to get better vapor with a drip tip (drawing more air through???). Would also ask if you're using the silver threaded cartos, or the gold ones? I hear the gold ones don't work as well.
  16. Welcome to VT Don! I vape at 6V with a 510 most of the time and Vapor Talk juice does well on both the 510 and 510 cartos. I think it's a good idea to try a 302 or 801 as miatafrank suggested, or even a high voltage 510 (higher resistance). Nhaler does have some 510 cartomizers that are 3.4ohm (the ones I use are 2.9ohm). I haven't tried them, but it may be something you want to consider. Nhaler 510 Carto
  17. Welcome to VT! You've got a great attitude! You'll be a vaping pro in no time.
  18. All of mine are 3.2ohms also, except that one, which is why I pointed out that it's a very old atty.
  19. I built an adapter so I can test the voltage under load. LiFePO4s cannot sustain 5.5V under load. I think the Joker only drops 0.1V if the batteries are capable of keeping the voltage at the set level. Using a Joye 510 (2.2ohm) with the Joker at 5.5V, I only get 4.38V under load. I want to get some 3.7V 16340s to try, but haven't gotten around to ordering them yet.
  20. And it's FREE!!! Wow!!! All you have to do is pay $69.95 per month (plus $9.95 S&H). You get a whole singel ecig!!! EZSmoker We are going to let you try the complete Ezsmoker system, which includes the Charger, re-chargeable battery, atomizer and filter, a $130 value. (Each cartridge is equal to about a pack and a half of cigarettes) When you see the great results and want to continue to use Ezsmoker you will need more filters for your unit, so starting today and every 30 days thereafter we will send you a fresh supply of 15 filter cartridges (roughly a month supply) at the promotional price of just $69.95 billed to the card you used today, and all we ask is that you cover the $9.95 shipping and handling. Which you can customize or discontinue anytime just by calling the Customer Care at 1-877-5-FLASH-1
  21. I always carry two new attys and a couple of cartos to work.
  22. Under load with the Joker set at 5.5V I'm getting 5.1V (using LiFePO4s). I checked the atty resistance and it's 4.4ohm... it's a very old atty. Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever had a 302 pop. I did pop a BE112 once. I've got several 302s that I washed because they sat unused for so long. May be time to start using them again.
