  1. Check out the VapeMate Juice Feeder. Now that I see it, I'm not sure I like it. Looks like it would be... in the way??? What do yall think? I could certainly see using it in a box mod. I'm still seriously considering ordering one. Super-T VapeMate
  2. After filling a carto, before you put it on your ecig, hold a napkin over the battery conector end and gently blow through it until the "gurgling" stops. That will blow out all the eliquid in the center tube. The only time I've had a carto leak is when I drip into it while it's on my ecig, so I stopped going that. I'll just add that for me, cartos are for on-the-go only (mostly while driving). They don't satisfy me like the 510 atty, but they get the through when I can't drip.
  3. You are right about that, but you'll find that size doens't matter. LOL!
  4. I have to agree with what every one else has already said. However, if you're dead set on a cigarette sized ecig, go with the Joye 510 kit and maybe pick up a PCC (charging case). Since money is no object, you may go with the 510 kit and see how it works out for you. If you like it and want to keep using it, get a PCC down the road. Or, if you decide to upgrade then get an eGo and you'll have the regular 510 for a back up. Cignot sells "no box" Joye 510 kits for $35.00 (two complete ecigs). You can pick the battery and LED color and you can choose Auto or Manual. You can mix/match if you want. The have PCCs for $25. Cignot
  5. Just a note - the filler that is in the carts you received with you eGo can be cleaned. Just run then under some hot water and blot them dry with a paper towel.
  6. I'm not a fan of using cartridges, but a lot of people who do use them like to use Fluval for a filler. Are you still having problems with the funky taste? Fluval You may want to consider direct dripping also. What is direct dripping How to direct drip
  7. Occasionally, eliquid/condensation will build up around the base of the tip and you can suck it up into your mouth (this is know as "getting juiced"). It's not that big of a deal. I just got some wide mouth tips from electronicstix and I'm hoping I won't have that problem with them (I've heard good things about these and so far so good). ENS - Wide Mouth Drip Tip
  8. You don't have to have a drip tip, but it makes life so much easier. Your Ego should come with 5 carts (and probably two empty carts already on the attomizer). Just remove the cart, drip into the atty and replace the cart to vape. With a drip tip, you don't have to remove the tip, it has a hole through it and you drip right into it. Here are two vids for direct dripping that may help. What is direct dripping How to Direct Drip
  9. Go with the eGo, you won't be disappointed. Most people report getting 8+ hours per charge on the eGo battery. I agree with everything BirdDog said. I'll add that you'll get much better throat hit with the 510 vs. the 302. I smoked 1 1/2 packs a day for 20 years and I vape 24mg eliquid.
  10. Why can't poeple just mind thier own business!!! Sorry. Really tired of poeple looking for ways go keep me healthy.
  11. These what you're looking for? ENS - VTALK10 for 10% off.
  12. The last time this came up I think I said 10-15ml per week. However, I started paying more attention after that and turns out I'm using 15-20 ml per week. But, the past few months have been pretty stressful, so that may have something to do with it. Edited to add: 24mg.
  13. Thanks Jolly! I need to get some of those - even if I don't use them on the mod.
  14. Time to bust out the ole dremmel. Haven't used that in a long time. I did use some earth magnets, but they are a little small. They're doing the job, but think I'll get some a little bigger. The ones I have are 1/8th inch and actually it into the pre drilled holes on the cover. They hold, but just barely.
  15. I searched pretty hard for one, but couldn't find one that wasn't huge. Anyone know were to get one? I recall seeing a link somewhere for the same one on the vaprlife DVM, but don't recall where I saw it.
  16. I may give that a try. Not sure if I can cut them out without destroying the box though. LOL! I think I could just use some battery connectors and mount them on the sides of the box... looks like the 14500 would fit. Something like this:
  17. Nothing is mounted solid yet, so I'll look into getting the board up. I've been checking it pretty regularly and not getting any heat from it so far. I like the switch. I've also got a pretty big push button on/off switch with LED that I'm trying to figure out how to put in.
  18. Thanks yall. It is pretty big... the box is 4.4" X 2.6" X 1.2". I've been using it all day and it's still going. The board is 1.5" X 1.5" and about 1/2" high... takes up a lot of space. The switch is just a matter of preference - I really like that switch and searched a long time to find it (and I think I discovered that I have a switch fetish LOL!).
  19. You seen anyone with them in stock yet? Looks interesting.
  20. It's a good supplier. I've ordered from them a few times... good reputation.
  21. Is this the part you need? Wall Charger Or is it this part? USB Charger
  22. You need a charger for a KR808. How long have you had it? You should fill out a support ticket for the VaporTalk store.
  23. This is a variable voltage box mod that is quite simple and fairly cheap to make. I have to give props to Mamu at Vapers Forum for finding the converter board. I ordered 5 of them and so far it's working great - $7.50 on ebay! It's really easy to use... has a Vin +/- and Vout +/-. The Vin + goes to one terminal of your switch, Vin - goes to the negative battery connector. The Vout + goes to the atty center post and the Vout - goes to the outer atty connector. I threw this together pretty fast after getting all the parts in, so it's not the final version (note the messy wires). I'm using two 14500. The box is a Hammond 1591-BSBK. I have a lot of other plans for this including a master on/off switch and LED. Trying to figure out a better way to set up the batteries to make a little more room and may switch to RCR123As. Under load the voltage drops 0.2 volts. I set it at 5.1v and under load it's 4.9v. DC-DC Converter Board regulator In:3-30V Out:1.3-18V
