  1. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Great questions and great answers. My experience with attomizer longevity is that they are hit an miss. I've had some last a month or more, and a few that pop with the first push of the button. On average, I've been running 2 weeks per atty. However, I'm using 5 or 6 volts so I'm happy with 2 weeks. Before I went to higher voltage, I was getting about a month out of an atty. I direct drip most of the time and use cartomizers when I'm driving. As Kitsune said, it's all about personal preference and finding what works for you.
  2. I did some looking around and from what I've read it sounds like the Prosmoke is a M series (401/403) and is similar to the Blu performance wise. It also appears that the use all VG juice, which tends to have a softer TH, and the "medium" nic is 12mg. You may want to get some PG base juice in 18 or 24mg and see if that helps. I hate to say this, but after looking around on other forums, most of the treads on prosmoke are not good. Seems there are quite a few people who found that the prosmoke did not cut the mustard. If you find that it's just not going to work for you, keep in mind that there are much better performers available. You may want to consider checking into returning it and looking into a 510 (510 kit or eGo). The 510 packs quite a punch.
  3. Welcome to VT! Do you know what nic level the "medium" is? I get a great throat hit from 24mg. I'm not familiar with ProSmoke, so not sure what type of ecig it is. Some models just don't deliver the punch some of us need.
  4. Every cloud has a silver lining. Today was a rough day at work, rainy and dreary all day too. Saw part of a rainbow as I got close to home this evening. By the time I got home it was awesome looking. Ran in the house and yelled for the kids and my wife to come see. I'm not much of a photographer, and my camera sucks, but here it is.
  5. 2-3 drops usually gets you 5-7 hits (+/-).
  6. The Shockwave is suppose to be out in December.
  7. Definitely try some cartomizers, but don't expect them to last all day. I would not rule out direct dripping with an atomizer though - give it a try. What is Direct Dripping
  8. Welcome to VT! I smoked about 1 1/2 packs a day and started with 18mg and it didn't cut it for me. Quickly moved up to 24mg and that's what I've been vaping ever since. Can't help you with menthol.
  9. It's the Super T Manufacturing subforum on ECF. I'm not sure what size tube, I may have missed that. I know someone said they got some at Walmart. I did try a straw that seemed to fit perfectly, but it didn't work. I reckon it wasn't tight enough. Super T on ECFSuper T on ECF
  10. I just want to give it a fair shake. At this point, don't see myself trying to use it while driving. I'm using the hard bottles (like the VT bottles) and it's difficult to use. You do have to turn it sideways to get juice to go through, which causes the juice to pool around the vent hold and I keep getting juiced. I want to get some of he soft bottles and give it another try. Still, unless it's a full bottle you're going to have to give it quite a squeeze to get the juice to the top, which still means getting juiced. Some people are using a tube so that the juice can be picked up from the bottom of the bottle and you don't have to turn the unit sideways to use it. I want to try that. I used it all day yesterday and part of today and gave up - dripping is just easier at this point. I think it will be better with the soft bottles.
  11. I received mine yesterday. I'm reserving judgement until I've used it longer.
  12. You're exceeding my knowledge base now. I've tried to figure this all out, but there's always a snag. Seems like the more I learn about it, the less I understand it.
  13. In theory, maybe, but I really don't think it would be noticable. If you want better battery life, you need something that will hold bigger batteries. It's really all about personal preference and finding what works for you. More options are allowing more poeple to find what works for them best. Many people find that once they try HV, they can't go back to 3.7. Some people like 3.7v with a LR atty.
  14. The HV atties exist because some people use two 3.7V batteries (on an unregulated unit) which gives you 7.4V. 7.4V would pop a standard atty, so HV atties were introduced. A 5.2ohm atty with 7.4V will generate 10.5 watts which many claim to be the "sweet spot". If you haven't looked at it before, the thread below may be helpful. My link
  15. Those are 250 mah. The ones Jesso avertises with the unit are 300 mah. I would not expct to get more than 4 hours from them (at best). Seems like the vaprlife review said about 4 hours. I use 750mah batteries in my Joker and SB and get about 8 hours (sometimes more, sometimes less).
  16. I use a drip tip on my cartos (to keep from getting juiced), but I remove it to add juice. I take the tip off and tilt the carto about 45 degrees and drip down the sides. Once it starts to pool a little on top of the filler, shake it down (put the top back on first or juice will slosh out) and add a few more drops. I have a Joker AV (varivolt) and keep it at 4.9 or 5v.
  17. This is so... true. Sad times we live in.
  18. That's great for you! I hope I can be that way some day, but I don't see it. One day this week I forgot my little baggie that has my extras and realized when I got to work all I had was my Joker (with low batteries) and the carto that was on it. I figured I'd see if I could make it a day without vaping much, but after half an hour I went home and got my stuff... 45 minute drive each way.
  19. Glad you found something you like and can vape. To answer your question about turning 24mg into 12mg - yes, that will work.
  20. Worked in quick topic for me.
  21. Not much help with LR stuff since I don't use any of it. I can say that I have dripped into a carto with a drip tip twice and both times I got a horrible mess with only a few drops. I don't do that any more. I always remove the carto from the unit and put one of the covers on the battery end. Then fill it up. I shake it like a thermometer a few times and add some more. Remove the cover, hold a paper towel over the battery end and gently blow through it until the gurgeling stops. I use the regular Boge cartos (like the ones at VT) at 5V. I have a 45 minute drive to work and usually have to add 8-10 drops after my drive. I'm also using regular Joye 510 attys at 5V (only use cartos for driving). I really feel for you. I have had a few brand new attys that pop as soon as I hit the button for the first time. It happens.
  22. Cignot does not use coupon codes (as far as I know).
