  1. Ain't it great?!!! Congrats - you're well on your way now.
  2. The PigCig is similar to the eGo in looks, but uses the KR808-D1 cartomizers or a 901 atty. If you're looking for a good throat hit, I'd go with the eGo instead. You can get 510 cartomizers also for the eGo. I think you have more options available if you go with the eGo. How much eliquid you use will vary. I'd just wait and see how much you use. I smoked 1 1/2 packs a day and now I vape 24mg juice and use about 15-20 ml per week.
  3. I just found out that you can get 20% off using "Liquid20". Don't know how long this is good for. Just an FYI - code "smoke" gives you 40% off on hardware, so don't be fooled by some of the higher prices on hardware. That $80 eGo is really only $48.
  4. TW price for nic is high compared to most. I've been using MyFreedomSmokes. Right now, you can get 125ml of 48mg for $29.95, or 125ml of 60mg for $33.95. I always use 48mg for mixing. You can also select the % of VG you want. I've been using it since June and like it. MFS - Smoke Juice
  5. Yep. About a week after I dropped analogs we had a big snow storm and lost power for 3 days. All of my batteries died on the first day and I had to go back to analogs for 2 or 3 days. The taste was aweful!!! Funny thing is that when people start vaping, they always want eliquid that tastes like their favorite analog. You just don't realize how crappy analogs taste until you've been of them for a bit.
  6. The main difference between the 510 kit and the eGo is battery life. The standard 510 batteries will last 1-2 hours between charges (unless you're a very light vaper). The eGo batteries are bigger than the standard batteries and will last around 8 hours (most report 8+ hours). The eGo also uses the 510 attomizer so performance is similar. Also, if you're looking for better throat hit, you can use an LR atty on the eGo, but not on the regular batteries. The LR (Low Resistance) atty heat up faster and will give you more vapor and throat hit. It's designed to simulate vaping at higher voltages without having to buy a more expensive 5V device. I would definitively check into getting a drip tip and try direct dripping (vid link below). Personally, I was never able to get good performance using carts. The eliquid would just stay in the cart. More often than not I was having to remove the cart and add 3-4 drops to it after every 5-6 drags, which is basically direct dripping. You don't have to have a drip tip to direct drip, but it helps. What is Direct Dripping It takes about 20 drops of eliquid to make 1 ml. Everyone vapes differently and uses different amounts of eliquid per week. I'm using about 15-20ml per week. Once you get started and see how much you use, you'll have a better idea how much you need to keep on hand. Do you know what nic strength your carts are? What nic strength juice did you buy? I smoked about 1 1/2 packs of Marlboro Lights per day and I vape 24mg. If you don't feel like you're getting enough nic, you may want to step up a little.
  7. I've yet to figure out a good coffee. They all seem to taste the same. Still working on it though. As for mint cookies, I don't vape anything mint.
  8. Here's the flavoring mix I use as my all day vape most of the time: 50% PA Peanut Butter 40% PA Bittersweet Chocolate 10% PA Cotton Candy Use this to mix to whatever MG and flavor % you like (I use about 30% flavor and 20% VG). After making a 10ml bottle of 24mg, I add 3-4 drops of tobacco. The different tobaccos bring out different flavors in the mix. Some of my favorites are: FA Latakia FA Max/Boro TW 555 TW Tobacco Americano TW M/Borough
  9. LOL! Not the first time they've been down, which is why I think the original link was removed. It's been back up for a while, and was working yesterday. You can see it here, but I don't know if this is up to date. Google Docs
  10. I wish the ShockWave was varivolt. I really like how it looks. I know it will have a heavy price tag, but it sure is sweet.
  11. Love my Joker AV also. I think they have the Joker AV in stock, but not as the kit. I wouldn't buy the kit anyhow... buy the unit by itself and get better batteries elsewhere. Joker AV
  12. Ah - I got confused. Thought you were looking for an RN4081 to 510 adapter.
  13. Had to check about 15 sites before I found this. Seems not very many suppliers carry this one. AZ Smoke Free
  14. Phew - glad it's not just me. At least I'm in good company.
  15. It's a mental issue - I can't seem to stop with only a few drops of anything! LOL! I KNOW that 3-4 drops of tobacco flavorings is perfect for the mix I use and it's alway the last thing I put in. However, once I get to drop 4, I always have to add another two drops. I can't help it.
  16. Great info Kitsne! I'm going to have to try the menthol tips some time. I'm just always afraid I'll end up with menthol eliquid.
  17. Glad you like it. Don't think I could live with the battery life, but I've always like the looks of the VP units. Wish they'd let out some info on the Blade.
  18. How long are the batteries lasting? Never mind - just saw your review.
  19. A good reminder to all of us that we're never safe from the power of analogs. Good to see you back on the forum.
  20. It's because you're in NE. LOL! Once nana and I both had a shipment coming from VT, shipped the same day, but I got mine in WV before she got hers in NE. Odd how that works.
  21. <moment of silence> Ok - Hope you have it for the weekend! Did you get a tracking number?
  22. Qhit from FlavorArt, but I haven't heard much feed back on it. Early indications I saw was that it didn't work, and it's a little expensive. I'm considering giving it a try, but haven't ordered anything lately. ecigexpressecigexpress
