Dripping does take some practice. 2-3 drops should get you about 5-7 hits. When I first started dripping, I got leaks all the time, but now I rarely get them. Just takes some time to know when to drip. Are you using regular or LR attomizers? LR attys are more prone to leakage since they get hotter. Likewise, if you vape heavily on a regular atty and let it get very hot, it's more prone to leak. So, if you take several hits in a row (hot boxing it), you're more likely to get a leak. You may want to practice without the cone on the eGo so you know when you're getting leak. First thing I would do is blow out the juice you have in it now so you know where you're starting from. Hold a paper towel over the battery end of the atty and blow through the open end. Wipe off the battery end real good. Also, since you've had leaks, use a paper towel to clean out the battery also. Put the atty back on... to prime it the first time I'd use 5 drops. You'll probably only get a couple of hits and then add 2-3 more drops. Should be good to go.

Hey Vets, Sorry But Need More Help

Just saw the FREE shipping and 10% off. Heck, I'd get another battery also, then you're covered on all fronts if you do have to send the kit back. -

I know the feeling - I wouldn't want to send it back either. It's good to have a spare charger, so you may try ordering a charger. If that is the problems, then send the broken one back for replacement. Then you'll have two, which is good. I usually wake up between 4-5 whether I set my alarm or not. Don't worry, I'll take a nice nap in my recliner later this morning. As for Chris - he never sleeps, or he's found a way to clone himself. -

Didn't you get your eGo from Vapor Talk Store? Fill out a support ticket and Chris will help you out. Sounds like a bad charger to me. VT Support -
I would go with the Boge cartos (with the silver threads). Popular opinion is that they perform better than the SLB cartos (gold threads). As for the site, never heard of it. My link (same site you listed). I don't know if you saw my post in your other thread, but Liberty Flights has the eGo for $39.99 (Black Friday Sale). If you click on the "20% off" button at the top of the page, then look at the eGo, it's $39.99. That's a price you won't beat on the Joye eGo. They also have cartos. Regular 510 cartos work okay, but will not give you the hit you're use to with a regular 510 atty. That's why so many people like the LR cartos. I use regular cartos for driving, but I'm vaping at 5 or 6V always, so they work well for higher voltage. I'm hearing good things about the 2.0 ohm cartos at Vapor Kings. I also hear the 1.8ohm from electronicstix work good. You want to get the ones with the soft cap so you can just pop the cap off and drip into it. Here's a vid on refilling a carto. This is how I do it. How to refill a 510 carto

I've also noticed this since you first posted. I made several bottles of juice and have been rotating them. I've noticed that as time passes, the flavor seems to get better, more defined. Also, I made some caramel coffee and it was way to strong (only used 2.5% FA Caramel Capp, but way to strong). After letting it sit for a week, it came out pretty darn good. I was able to dilute it just a little and it's might good now.

BTW - just saw that Liberty Flights has Joye eGo kits on sale for $40. You have to click on the "20% off" button at the top of the page. Then, when you look at the eGo it will only be $39.99.

Since it's new, there are no definitive studies, especially on any potential long term affects. Most of us are willing to take that chance and firmly believe that it's got to be better than smoking.

Most flavorings are either PG or VG base, so I wouldn't think thickness would be an issue. I mostly use FlavorArt and PA and have never had an issue with it. However, I do make all my juice 20% VG, so maybe that's why I've never had an issue. Early on, I was using 40-45% flavoring, but have backed down to 30-35% now.

The smoke free meter in our signature calculates how much money we did not spend on analogs... it doesn't take into account how much we've spend on vaping supplies. I know in one year of vaping, I've spent a little more than I would have spent smoking analogs, BUT, I have about 10 mods and enough supplies to last at least two years. However, I would think if you just buy the necessities it would easily be cheaper. For a lighter smoker, it will take longer to recapture the initial investment, but it should eventually pay off. Say you can make a 5 pack of cartos last two weeks and you use one 10ml bottle of juice a week. That would be about $13 a week ($26 every two weeks). There can be a lot more cost early when you're trying to find what works for you.

That was great! Loved Crazy Train! LOL! -
Carts for a regular attomizer (like the 510 on the eGo you are looking at) will be more troublesome than the cartomizers you are using for the KR. If you go the eGo route, you may want to try the eGo mega cartomizers. I haven't used them so can't tell you much, except they hold a lot of eliquid. Honestly, I'm not aware of any cartomizer that will not have to be refilled at least every few hours. You will certainly get much better battery life from the eGo... 8+ hours.

Yeah - should do well on 5V. Let us know what's inside.

Don't know who makes these, but they're a eGo knock-off like the Riva. $39. Never used one so can't recommend it. I don't normally keep an eye out for Riva prices, but you can get a Joye Ego for $50-$60 and a few places. AZ Smokefree

Looks like a cartomizer with a drip tip. At 3.5 ohm, I hope you have a HV mod.

Happy Thanksgiving Snubber and everyone!

I always blow through the open end while holding a paper towel over the battery end. I do this just about every day.

Can't argue with that!

Very cool!

Welcome to Vapor Talk! Your experience with the LR 510 seems to be common. Some will last a few weeks, some only a few days. Since you've been spoiled by the LR atty, going back to a regular 510 probably wouldn't give you the hit you're use to now. Puresmoker.com has a bulk discount. If you buy 25 attys (or more) you get a 50% discount ($125 for 25 atty, shipped, so it's $5 per atty). MFS (myfreedomsmokes.com) has them pretty cheap also if you use coupon code "smoke". The atty are $5.37 with the 40% off discount code.

Glad you finally go it and are able to use it a little. Hopefully you'll be all well and be able to really put it to the test over the long weekend.

You may want to clean your tips real good too... don't want to give it to yourself again.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! I haven't heard of very many people boiling cartos. If you're going to try and clean them, I would just run hot tap water through them and let them dry. Some people let them soak in a glass of Everclear or Vodka. Keep in mind that cartos are disposable. I'm not familiar with how the Smoke Stik cartos are made, so I'm not much help, but I'm sure someone will be along with some tips.
