There have only been a few purchased juices that's I've really liked. Many to me have either not been good or just meh. For a long time VT Tobacco was all I vaped. Then I got into VT Sweet Dawn for a while, but it wasn't an all day vape. I recently restarted my love affair with iVape's Sweet Caroline (thanks again Dayvape). Dekang 555 is also good. I tried a lot of different flavors with DIY, but only fond a few mixes that I really liked. So, if I could only choose one it would probably VT Tobacco (but would the happy with 555 or Sweet Caroline too).

2 Dead 5 Wounded At My Lady Friends Work
Brian replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Man - that's just crazy. Hope your friend is okay. I heard about this on the radio - isn't it part of the college campus? They said it may have been a lot worse if they hadn't been on spring break. -
MY AWs took several charges before they got up to speed. I was very disappointed in the battery life of my Provari when I first got it, but after each battery had been charged several time I started getting 10-14 hours.

That's messed up! So what happened when you caught the guy?

Dayvape Wins The Award For Best Person Ever

Very nice of both of you! -
Oh - my next purchase will probably be nicotine. I'm almost out.

For safety, you'd think that's pretty important. I've seen 3 different manufacturers of the LT now, so there really are knock-offs already. Until I saw there were other manufacturers, I assumed the clones were all coming from the same source.

Same as Jeff.

No kidding! What are yall paying p/gallon out in CA? Regular is $3.80 here. My truck only gets about 15-16 MPG and I have to fill up every other day.

Looks like Altsmoke has them in stock. http://altsmoke.com/feature/vision-ego-transparent-clearomizer.html

Is this the same thing? Looks like there is just a little bit of wicking material at the top... I don't see how this can wick well at all unless you leave it laying on it's side. I liked CE2s but the biggest problem I had with them was wicking. If this one works well, I may have to give it a try. http://www.gotvapes.com/index.php?main_page=popup_image_additional&pID=621&pic=0&products_image_large_additional=images/stardust_1.png

Forever Upping The Nicotine
Brian replied to JonHitThingWithRock's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Probably within the first several months. 6V really burns though some juice. I started vaping in December 09 and went to 6V in April 2010. By the end of 2010 I think I was using 4.9V. Got my Provari in Jan 2011. Much easier to lower the voltage so I worked my way down pretty quickly after I got it. -

Forever Upping The Nicotine
Brian replied to JonHitThingWithRock's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I started at 24mg and I'm still at 24mg over two years later. I did go though several months at 6V and that's what really helped me. Then I got a VV device and started working the voltage down. I vape at 4.1V most of the time now, but will occasionally crank it up to 5V. While I haven't increased my mg, I have increased my usage. Started out using 1-2ml per day and a 10ml bottle would last almost a full week. Now I'm vaping about 30ml per week. However, for the past year I've been pretty consistent with the voltage and consumption. -
Help! Glv2 Popping Hr Attys First Button Press
Brian replied to ManAlive's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
You may have gotten the wrong batteries. The AW protected 16340 750mAh batteries are 3.7V, not 3V. They will come off the charger at around 4.2V, so you're hitting 8.4V fresh off the charger. Do yo have a link to the batteries you got? The AW LiFePO4s are 3V. -
I thought it was a booger, but it's snot.

I had a Boge LR do that this past week. It was causing my Provari to shut off. The ohms tested out fine. I would get a hit or two and then it would shut the unit down. Remove and replace the battery, get a hit or two and it would shut down. The carto was a week old though, so worked fine for a week. I thought it odd also that the ohms checked out fine.

I like the Boge cartos. I use the regular Boge cartos at higher voltage (4.4V - 4.9V). For the eGo or lower voltage I use the Boge LR cartos (2.0ohm).

Does Vaping Really Feed The Monkey For You?
Brian replied to Soberrider's topic in General Vaping Discussion
It took about 8-10 months before I stopped having any cravings. Early on, they were pretty mild, but after vaping for about two months, the cravings got bad. That's what took me down the high voltage path. I was alway able to vape heavily and get though the cravings. -
Minor Problems With Www.madvapes.com Orders
Brian replied to twelveday's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
They've had some growing pains from time to time. Occasionally some things will slip though, but overall they have a happy and loyal following. -
For safety, I have vowed not to buy 100mg nic any more. I buy 48mg. Works good for me... I vape 24mg and usually make 30ml bottlses, so 15ml of 48mg nic, 6 ml VG, and finish the rest with PG and flavoring.

What Is The Highest Volt Mod Has Anyone Used?
Brian replied to willmon22's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I vaped at 6V for several months (would actually be about 5.2 - 5.4V under load). At a time when I couldn't get enough throat hit, it did the job. Now I'm down to using 4.1V - 4.4V mos to the time. -
I think having protection circuits in the actual mod is going to be thing wave of the future. Provape saw this a long time ago and have protection circuity even in their 3.7V Provape-1. I have had a couple of instances with my Silver Bullet where I felt it getting warm (once while using stacked batteries and once with an AW IMR). In both cases, I believe there was a short in the atty causing a high drain on the battery. The other day my Provari kept cutting off on me. I would remove the battery, put it back in, get a hit or two and it would do it again. I was using a carto that was about a week old, but it was still reading 2.0 ohms. Still, I changed the carto and the unit started working fine. I could be wrong, but I think the carto was starting to short out and was trying to draw to much power from the battery.
