I had that same experience with premixed rootbeer eliquid. Haven't tried to make any myself. Loranns is more concentrated than some of the other flaovrs so you may want to back off on the %. When I started mixing I was using 40+ % and found that I'm actually getting better flavor now that I've backed off. I usually go 30-35% now with PA flavors, which are said to be not as concentrated as Loranns. I think 15-20% is the norm for Loranns, so you may want to try 30% or so and see how that works out.

All of my drip tips are the same size or shorter than the 510 carts, so if it fits with a cart, it should fit with a drip tip. I would recommend the wide mouth drip tips. Something like this (the short wide mouth ones): Electronicstix Or, you can pop the cap out of a cart, remove the little ring inside and knock the guts out with a screw driver - makes a perfect drip tip.

Forgot to research ecigs and travel and I have an 11am flight tomorrow. Bleh - I hate traveling. Anyhow, I went back and read all the travel threads and doesn't look like I'll have any problems. However, has anyone taken a mod on a plane? I'm wondering if I should just take the eGo and leave my Joker home??? I saw Burn said he takes the VP/PT, so I'm thinking of throwing that in my computer bag. I guess what I should have done was get some LR attys and just take the eGo, but I've procrastinated and time is out. LOL!

I did that too and sadly still have most of it. LOL! I have away a lot on the forum, but still have quite a bit. I think my buds are still mess up, or I just have strange taste. There are only a few flavors that I really like and use regularly.

I'm not sure what kind of cartos Wordup is selling. I had heard they are the SLB with the gold thread, but not sure. You may want to shoot them an email or call them. These are the Boge ones (silver colored thread). VT Store I smoked 1 1/2 packs a day and now vape 24mg. I use about 15-20 ml of eliquid a week.

I've been thinking about trying that. FreedomsmokeUSA has it premixed. My link

This looks good. I would recommend getting some eliquid to get you going first and look into DIY down the road. We have a DIY section of the forum that will give you lots of info. I think I read that only about 3% of the population is allergic to PG. Many have settled on a mix of PG/VG. I like 80/20 mix of PG/VG. Attomizers can last a week, month or longer. It can be hit and miss. Generally, I'd say they last about 2-4 weeks. However, many have had attys last for months. I'm not sure what cartomizers you're looking at, the the soft caps have a rubber like cap that is easily popped out and you can drip eliquid into it. No need for a syringe.

If you're gonna direct drip, I wouldn't bother with the cotton. Generally, (if I can recall this correctly) you get about 1mg of nic from a cigarette. You have a 10ml bottle with 18mg per ml. So, one ml of eliquid should be about 18 cigarettes (give or take). However, most people find they do not vape anything like they smoked. I smoked 1 1/2 packs a day and now vape about 15-20ml of 24mg eliquid per week. Usage will vary for everyone. Some use a lot more, some a lot less.

Thinking back, I did have this happen on some attys that I had previously used on my SB. Attys used only on my Joker have always worked find, but when i first got it I was switching back and forth between the Joker and SB. That's when I had issues. Also, I've had some cartos that did this.

Does your Joker have a 510 connection, or are you using an adapter? If it's a 510, you may try lifting the center pin with a small screwdriver. I've done it a few times... take a little screw driver and gently pry the center pin on the Joker, working all the way around it. Be gentle, you should just see it move a little when you pry. That will lift the center pin. I've had several cartos that wouldn't work and this always fixed the problem.

Forgot to note, generally you'll get 5-7 hits from 2-3 drops. Also, don't hit your Tornado like you would a cigarette. Take long slow drags (gently hits). LOL BirdDog! You beat me to what I forgot.

Welcome to VT! An empty cart should hold 10-12 drops. The problem with carts is that they don't do a good job of releasing the eliquid, so most of it stays in the cart and never makes it to the attomizer. There are some other fillers that some say work better (fluval or blue foam), but I never had much luck with them. I would suggest watching the vid below on direct dripping. You'll get much better performance that way. You may want to consider getting come cartomizers (a single piece attomizer/cart which will hold about 30 drops). I direct drip 99% of the time and use cartomizers when dripping isn't convenient (while driving). What is direct dripping Just noticed you're in WV too.

Most vendors will not allow eliquid to be returned. They cannot sell eliquid that has been used (they could, but it would be bad for business if anyone found out). And since taste is subjective, they can't allow people to return eliquid just because they don't like it (they would probably get lots of returns). I would recommend going forward that you always try smaller bottles first until you know if you like it. Again, taste is subjective so even if you see a good review on eliquid, that doesn't mean you'll like it. I've had tons of eliquid that I didn't like and it's piled up in a box. I gave away a lot of it here on the forum, and still have quite a bit left. You could put it up for sale (or trade) in the classifieds. In your case, where you ordered menthol but don't taste any menthol, I see no harm in contacting Jeffrey and letting him know you're disappointed with the taste. I don't know if he'll do anything for you, but no harm in asking.

Hey Vets, Sorry But Need More Help

Great news hawkizefan! I'll have to remember that if it comes up again. We usually do suggest cleaning the connections when someone has problems, but sine it was new I didn't think it would have time to get dirty. Never heard of a problem like this right out of the box, so good to know. -
Juice and condensation can go up the vent hole on the side of the cart. Back when I used carts, I would wipe it off with a paper towel every time I removed it. Also, you can pop out the top, pop out another little ring inside that, and was it out.

That's what I did with mine. Also added a tab to list all my flavors and added drop down lists to the calculator. Works good.

Dave was kind enough to send me about 15ml of this 555 flavoring and I have to concur... it's fantastic!

Just an after-thought... a lot of people use English Toffee for tobacco flavors. I hear English Toffee, some Cotton Candy and some tobacco is pretty good. I've tried it a little, and like it okay, but the smell of the English Toffee is very strong to me. I filled a carto and the smell was with me all the time, even though I switched back to an atty.

You may want to look at this calculator. ddavelarsen calc
-
I like to show the flavor mix by itself because we all have different VG%'s and nic levels we use (ddavelarsen's idea). I would take the flavor mix above, and then use about 30% of it in my juice. In my last batch, I mixed up 30ml of the flavoring only so that i have plenty ready. Makes it easier when I need juice. Or, like this (for 24mg): 5 ml 48mg nic 2ml VG 1.5ml Peanutbutter 1.2ml Bitter Sweet Chocolate (works good with regular choc also) 0.3ml Cotton Candy PA or TPA = The Perfumer's Apprentice TPA
-
Most eliquid is either PG, VG, or a mix of PG/VG. VG tends to create massive vapor and has a little softer throat hit. You can add it to any eliquid you have, but it will dilute the flavor and nic level. For example, if you have 10ml of 24mg eliquid and add 5ml of straight VG (or PG) you'll have 15ml of 16mg eliquid.

That would be great if that's all it is.
