You can make a drip tip with a cart (see link below). It's pretty easy and it's what I use all the time. I have several purchased drip tips, but still use the tail pipe cart mod most of the time. Tail Pipe Cart Mod

You can also use a paper clip to pull down the connector on the carto. Worth a try. I've had a few cartos that I've had to do that with. Stick a paper clip in the hole and try to wiggle it down some. Don't shove it to far in, just enough to get some leverage on it. Really sounds like it's not making a connection.

It sounds like the connector pin may be depressed some. Usually if you wiggle it with a screwdriver (gently try to lift the center pin), it will come up some. I don't have a wetbox, and I'm not sure how it works with the feeding tube, but I've had this problem occasionally with my Joker and Silver Bullet and lifting the center post works every time.

I've tried quite a few and haven't found much that really did it for me. One that I use to love is Mr. Bean from LiquidXpress. When I first started using it I thought it was fantastic! Like chewing on a coffee bean. However, over time it lost it's taste to me. They also sell just the flavoring and I tried using that to make stronger flavor, but still just doesn't taste the same to me any more. It may be worth trying though. Oh Boy! I smell coffee!!! I've been using coffee and bavarian cream and it's good. I used it with TPA Caramel Capp and yum... similar to the caramel macc you did. I will try some of these. Thanks!

I kept hearing that radio commercial for the "smoke assassin" so I started searching on-line. Spent a few days searching those big commercial sites (that's all I was seeing with searches, Smoking Everywhere, Smoke 51, Blu, etc). One term I kept seeing over an over was "vapor", so I search for "vapor cigarette" and that's when I found Vapor Talk. That was the end of it... the fine folks here hooked me right up and I've been happily vaping ever since.

Curious - are they Joye eGo batteries, or are they Riva or some other imitation?

The instructions that come with the eGo say to never charge regular 510 batteries on it. You can get a usb charger for the 510. I'll see if I can find some and post a link. Madvapes Madvapes (no cable)

Great news!

Four days. I received my 510 kit on a Tuesday and started vaping in the evenings after work only, just learning how it worked. By Thursday I found myself at work missing my vape while I was smoking. I smoked my last analog when I woke up Saturday morning and started vaping full time. Early on I didn't have any cravings. For me, the bad cravings started about 2 months after I started vaping and they would hit hard. I was able to vape heavily and get through it. I didn't get them often, but when they hit they were VERY strong. It's probably been 4 or 5 months now since the last time I had a craving.

Hmmm. My Apple Smoke and Hickory Smoke from Viking Vapor are several months old new, so maybe it's time to give them another try. LOL!

Warm milk - that's the first thing that came to mind when I tried it. LOL! I've set mine aside and will give it another go down the road. I know my buds are odd, so I don't usually say anything when I think something doesn't taste right, but I had to laugh when I saw you said "warm milk". If it doesn't taste better later, I was thinking it would be good mixed with some coffee flavor.

Vapor Talk tobacco is what did it for me. Unfortunately, they don't carry it in 0 nic. However, they do have Dulcis in 0 nic and it's quite yummy and a favorite of many. What you find after a long search is that there's nothing that's going to taste like the Marlboro does (and if you quit smoking for a few weeks and then have a cigarette, you'll be glad there's no eliquid that tastes like it... yuck!) I would encourage for him to try a few different flavors. Keep in mind that his buds are damaged from many years of smoking, so if he get a juice he doesn't like, set it aside and try it again in a few weeks or months.

When using pipettes, after you squeeze out the content, allow the remnants to settle to and give it another squeeze, repeat if necessary. I've found that especially with thicker ingredients (VG), you'll get about 1/4 ml left over.

If you're a light smoker, then you may be okay with the Joye 510. However, if you go more than 1/2 pack a day, I would go with the eGo. I smoked 1 1/2 packs a day was doing good to get 1.5 hours on a regular battery. With the eGo I was getting well over 8 hours and many report the eGo lasting 10-12+ hours.

I haven't seen a comparison vid. The main difference is battery life. Also, with the eGo you have the option to use LR attomizers and LR Cartomizers. You cannot (or should not) use LR attys/cartos on the regular Joye 510 batteries. Given that, the eGo is more versatile.

Some vendors give you more choices of the PG/VG mix. Others will be all PG or all VG, or a specific amount.
