LOL! I was really surprised by how heavy it is.

I would say it's been a while since you held a SB because the provari is much heavier then the SB. The Provari without battery is heavier than the SB with batteries. Not quite as wide, but very noticeably heavier.

The 3xAA boxes I got from Madvapes are 2 3/4"L X 2 7/8"W x 11/16"H

If you were to do that, the battery would be unprotected (and unsafe). I would contact Madvapes - they'll take care of you.

Are your friend's batteries the same kind? Do they have a button top, or flat top?

I've tried a few different types of attys for HV, but like the regular Joye 510 2.2ohm atty best.

Good to see ya again! The good news is that vaprlife will turn it around pretty fast. When I sent mine in for the upgrade it was back within a week (round trip). Like Joe said, I'd check the connector for power first. Also may want to try fresh batteries (maybe one got damaged). Do you have the FV or the AV?

I wouldn't know anything about that. Oh - and probably not a good idea to pick you nose with juice on your finger, but again, I wouldn't know anything about that.

Someone else had this issue once and it was their USB port. You may want to check out this thread: Shocking PT Seems to me that the PT is unregulated, meaning whatever voltage that goes into it is what voltage goes to the atty ( I could be wrong).
