  1. I use Joye 510s (2.2 ohm) @ 4.9V.
  2. I just go for it - nic and all. LOL! Was just to much bother to mix without nic and then add nic.
  3. Don't you have to have a syringe to fill those from the top (unless you use the condom method)? I don't use cartos often, but seems like I need to add 8-10 drops about every hour when I do use them. I don't know if I'd like them if I couldn't just drip into them.
  4. Glad you like them! Are those the Joye cartomizers? I've been thinking of trying those.
  5. I get numbing in my arms and hands, but I had that long before I started vaping.
  6. Try direct dripping with the LR attys. Carts have a hard enough time working right with a regular atty, so it's very likely that with the LR atty the juice gets used up in the atty faster than the cart can release it.
  7. Dayvape gave you some great advice. The problems with running a cartomizer dry is that the coil will burn through the protective wrapping and start burning the filler. Once you get the burned filler taste, the carto is toast. Dayvape's advice can apply to attomizers also as the metallic taste usually comes from them getting dry. Maybe the tank isn't releasing the juice fast enough? I haven' used the tanks yet, but I'm sure someone can give you some tips on getting it to juice better. I think Dayvape uses the 2.0ohm LR cartos from VaporKings, but I'm sure he'll be along to correct me if I'm wrong. http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye-510-style-blank-LR-cartomizer-Made-by-Boge-p/510-cartomizer-blank-2ohm.htm
  8. Check out the DIY section of the forum. There are some links to places to get flavorings. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/forum/131-diy-%26-e-liquid-forum/
  9. It's all about what works for you. I know when I used carts I got juiced a lot, so I can't imagine adding juice in the top part. Also, blowing into it can blow juice out the bottom of the atty (done that once or twice). LOL!
  10. Personally, I don't see much use for it in my case. However, I reckon if you change attys a lot (different flaovrs), it could be convenient. I pretty much use one atty until it blows and start a new one. I usually take it off once a day to blow it out, wipe the threads and clean the battery connection. Would just be one more piece to take apart for me.
  11. I don't have one, but I feel the same way. LOL!
  12. You could just get some button protectors. That would keep your purse from taking drags. http://www.vaporgalaxy.com/Joye-eGo-Button-Protection-Ring-EGOBUTTONP.htm
  13. Is this a regular 510 cart, or one of the special eGo carts? On a regular 510 cart, there's no access to the filler from the top end. The cap pops off, and the second bottom with the other hole will also come out if you use a paper clip. Then you will see the air vents down the sides, and the part in the center is what holds the filler/juice. The part that hold the filler is not accessible from the top unless you knock a hole through it. It sounds to me like you're blowing juice through the air vents directly into the attomizer.
  14. Quite normal to have some juice get in there. I clean the connector regularly to keep it from building up. Just use a tissue or paper towel. It it's not leaking enough to be running down the side and all over the place, you're doing fine.
  15. It's been a while since I've ordered from them, but Madvapes used to use regular mail, so shipping was always pretty cheap.
  16. It does seem like the traffic is up over the past several months. Seems like it goes in waves though (just my observation). When I joined in Dec 2009 I think there was about 1200 members.
  17. Lower Resistance attys will get hotter than a regular attys so they will give you more vapor and better throat hit. The LR attys simulates vaping at higher voltages but without having to buy an expensive mod to do it.
  18. It's a beautiful thing. I like vaping with coffee.
  19. Another benefit of the bigger battery is that you can use a Low Resistance atty (if you're looking for something more). It's not recommended that you use LR attys on the smaller batteries. If you're seriously considering the eGo battery, you may want to check out the eGo PT. eGo PT
  20. You probably won't notice much difference in performance, mostly just battery life. The eGo has a 510 connection, but you can use the 901 and 801 with an adapter. You shouldn't have any issues with using the adapters (unless it's a faulty adapter).
  21. Cignot has the Joye cartos. I've never used the Joye version, so can't comment on them. https://www.cignot.com/category_s/64.htm I like the Boge regular cartos at 5V and the Boge 1.8ohm cartos on my eGo. I hear great things about the 2.0ohm cartos at vaporkings. http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye-510-style-blank-LR-cartomizer-Made-by-Boge-p/510-cartomizer-blank-2ohm.htm I haven't been in any rush to try any of the new cartos because, like you said, there hasn't been enough good news about them.
