  1. I've been using mine for about two hours and so far so good. Flavor is a little weak, but I'm not getting any of that horrid taste that some have reported. Right now I'm using it at 3.7v just to break it in good. I'll be cranking it up to 5V soon though.
  2. Here's a good vid on direct dripping. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/7996-what-is-direct-dripping-how-do-i-direct-drip/
  3. Vapor Talk juice is PG. When dripping, try dripping directly into the atomizer, not into the cart. Are you using a cart that has filler in it, or the once that came on the atty that doesn't have filler in it? For direct dripping, you usually get 5-10 hits for every 2-3 drops you add.
  4. Are you dripping through the drip tip, or using a cart? The Boge cartos are the best (IMO). For cartos, I typically "top it off" every hour or two with 8-10 drops. What kind of juice did you get (PG or VG)? PG is thinner and works better in caros. I've never heard of anyone getting 100+ drags on a carto. I never vape it dry. If you have the 2.0 ohm cartos, they will use more juice than regular ones (but they vape much better). After refilling a carto, hold a tissue over the battery end and gently blow through it. That will blow out any juice that in the center tube and keep it from running out on your battery. When I fill a carto I usually add about 15-20 drops, put the cover back over the mouth end and shake it down like an old thermometer (although I recently tried the tyran spin and it works good). It actually sound to me like you're doing quite well.
  5. I was raised to say "sir" and "ma'am" when speaking to adults. 42 years old and still say sir and ma'am to my elders and higher ups.
  6. I know what you were doing - I was just yanking back.
  7. They say not to use LR attys on batteries with lower than 420 mah. The LR atty pulls more power from the battery and it could ruin the smaller batteries.
  8. The 306 has the same thread as the 510, so it will screw right on to you eGo. However, I think with the drip tip you won't be able to use the cone.
  9. Maybe someday you'll come around. LOL! Just posting what works for me. It's good for everyone to have options. Personally, I don't get the satisfaction from a carto like I do from an atty.
  10. I would suggest 2 things: 1. Regular or Low Resistance Joye 510 attomizer and direct dripping. 2. Boge LR cartomizer. Use the atty and dripping when you can, use the LR carto when on the go (like when driving our out and about). Dripping does take some practice and you probably will have some leaks while learning, but it won't take long to know when to drip. Sorry the T didn't work out. I just received mine yesterday and getting ready to try them for myself. Dang! Three poeple posted before I finished - I'm losing my touch! LOL!
  11. Yes and yes. Using the LR carto is about the same as using a regular carto at 5 volts. Very similar. Since it has a lower resistance, it gets hotter and vaporizes the juice faster, giving you more vapor. So, yes, you will go through more juice.
  12. I agree. You should always be respectful (until someone give you a reason not to be). You can still be respectful of someone even if you don't respect then. It's called manners.
  13. I see The Helix is finally available. Has anyone done any reading on this? Other than the 4000 mah battery, I'm not seeing anything special about it. It's 3.7V with the 4000 mah battery. There is a sleeve so you can use RCR123As for 6V. What am I missing about the hype on The Helix? Granted, 4000 mah will last a long time between charges, but it probably takes several hours to charge. PS - I'm not bashing this mod - just wondering if I'm missing something.
  14. Cignot sells Joye brand eliquid. Don't know if this is what's in the prefilled carts, but if they're Joye, it could be. https://www.cignot.com/category_s/25.htm
  15. Been over a year for me and I have no plans to stop vaping.
  16. Sorry, but gotta post this one again. "Greed is good". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Muz1OcEzJOs
  17. She's doing good! Still no analogs. Got my order from VapeRite today, so she's got lots of new flavors to try.
  18. Sounds good. I've been wondering what Dulce De Leche tasted like, so when the Girl Scouts came around I got a couple boxes of that flavor. I like them. For vaping, it may be a little sweet for me, but it really sounds like it would make a good tabacco base.
  19. Like mcquinn said, I use cartomizers when I can't drip. I have a 45 minute drive to work, so I use a cartomizer for driving. I also use them when fishing, or traveling. They're not nearly as satisfying as dripping on a 510 atty at 5 volts, but they get me by for those shorter periods.
  20. Yep - Kitsune's DIY Basics is a great thread to get started with.
  21. Depends on what you're looking for. I went high voltage because I wanted bigger throat hit. If you use a higher resistance atty then you're offsetting the voltage increase. I used a few different kinds of HV attys (from 2.8 ohm to 4.5 ohm) when I was vaping my BSB at 6V and the HV attys really suck (IMO). The Joye 510 attys (2.2ohm) has always been my favorite and that's what I'm using on my Provari at 4.9V. They're lasting me 4-6 weeks mostly (had one last about 2, but it had issues from the start). Just remember, you will get bad attys.
  22. What kind of attys did you get? Looks like they have Joye and EastMall (Riva) attys.
  23. You got a cylindrical and a cone atomizer? These: http://www.shop.goodprophets.com/product.sc?productId=152&categoryId=46 Is this what you're trying to use the drip tip on? Did you get the right drip tip? Looks like there are two eGo drip tips, one to fit the cone shaped atty and one to fit the cylindrical shaped atty. Did you get one of each?
  24. Darrin did a review of Honey Beez... I think they say you either love it or hate it. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/9925-digitalcigs-honeybeez-first-impressions/page__p__89688__hl__honey__fromsearch__1#entry89688
