There are some things that can trigger the urge. About a month into vaping and while eating a piece of chocolate I got this most intense urge to smoke... I swear I could feel it though my whole body. Luckily I had a 5V PT and was able to vape through it. It took several month for me until all the cravings stopped. What worked for me: Vape heavily. LOL!

Been using mine since January and love it.

I would have thought 5V would fry an LR atty.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! You are correct, the larger batteries do last longer... quite a few hours longer. I would recommend an eGo or eGo-T (tank). Having a button will not run out the battery faster. Most prefer the button because the auto batteries can get juice in them and get ruined. Manual batteries are sealed and juice cannot get in them. You'll get use to the button in no time. Check out the supporting suppliers of the forum: Supporting Suppliers I've ordered from most of them and they all provide excellent service.

I Fried Both My Ego Batterys.
Brian replied to knoxthis's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
I have heard of this, but very rare. Many people are using the Boge 2ohm cartos on the eGo without issue. I've heard that the eGo batteries do have a reset on them... click the button 10 times. If that doesn't help, I would contact the supplier. -
Where Are You Buying Lr Tank Attys?
Brian replied to thisbetterwork's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I ordered from Forever Vapor on a Sunday and had my package the following Saturday. Would have come on Friday but the local sort facility processed it three times! LOL! -
For the best direct dripping experience, I'd use the Joye 510 attys. If you're looking for a better throat hit, then try a LR 510 (low resistance). I've been using a tank atty for several weeks now and haven't tried dripping with it. As for the cone, not really necessary. When I use an eGo I don't use the cone as it can cause a tighter draw.

The site says $7.50 per pack if you buy 8 packs. Am I missing something?
-
Yeah... hmmmm - I'm about a year in the hole. LOL! However, I could probably go 3-4 years without buying anything if I had to.

Not exactly sure what you're using... are you using cartomizers, or do you have an atomizer and cart? I'm guess you're using an atomizer and cart. If so, carts generally don't work well (they don't release the juice, so you need to top them off often) which is why most of us who use regular 510 atomizers direct drip. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/7996-what-is-direct-dripping-how-do-i-direct-drip/ If you want something that lasts longer and is more consistent, you may want to try some cartomizers: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/7993-how-to-fill-a-510-cartomizer/ Cartomizers will hold about 20-30 drops of juice and depending on how much you vape, can last for a few hours +/- before needing refilled.

The eGo and the 510 use the same atomizer. The carts will build up condensation and juice around the air vents, and when enough builds up you will suck it though. It helps if you wipe it off ever time you remove it. Upgrading to the regular eGo won't help that. However, the eGo you linked is the eGo-T which uses a different kind of atomizer and tanks. The tanks hold about 1ml of juice and have no filler. I've been using a tank attys for several weeks now and really like it. A lot of people like them, but there seems to be just as many people who don't like them. Not sure I understand... you're getting 18-24 hours from a regular 510 battery? Those things only lasted me about 1 to 1.5 hours max. The 900mah eGo battery would probably last a heavy vaper 10-12 hours +/-. If you get 24 hours from a regular battery, the eGo will probably last you a week.

Congrats! I used 6V for several months before vv came out. No doubt 6V helped me beat some serious cravings back then. Once I got vv I dropped down to 4.9-5V. I'm now down to 4.1V most of the time (never have craving any more). Still, I've cranked it up to 5V a few times when the stuff hits the fan at work. LOL!

Is this what you're looking for? http://myfreedomsmokes.com/products/Soft-Tips-5-pack.html

It's all a matter of personal preference really. Some like the SLB and Bauway attys. I tried them both and didn't like then and got no better life with then than I did with my Joye 2.2ohm atty, and not nearly the throat hit either.
-
Keep in mind that the attys come with a primer in them that doesn't taste very good. When starting a new attomizer, it good to try and blow out as much of the primer as you can. It will go away, but sometimes it takes a while. Glad you're enjoying it.

What mg do you vape? For safety, I wouldn't go with 100mg for routine mixing. If you do go with 100mg, I'd mix it all down to 48 or 36 in one sitting and be done with it. I vape 24mg and mix with 48mg. It makes for easy mixing. In a 10ml bottle I will always use 5ml of nic.

Placed an order on Sunday, April 24th and received it on Saturday, May 2nd . However, I would have received it Friday morning if the local sort center here in WV hadn't decided to process it three times! LOL! I ordered some LR Tank Attys, tanks, couple of eGo cases and some 510-eGo adapters. I'm using the adapter on my Provari with an eGo Tank atty and it works great. There's no gap between the atty and the Provari. Looks nice. Great service, as expected.

Do you know what brand or the ohm rating on the 510 atty you have? I use the Joye 510 atty at 5V and it's great. Joye 510s are 2.2ohm.

I've been using the Type A for about 7 weeks now and have never had a leak.

Either one will work on the eGo 900 mah battery. Other than the amount of eliquid they hold, they should be the same.
