  1. Everyone knows that Mark does beautiful work, but I have to show this off! I've found myself lately with a lot of different attys/tanks/clearos, etc laying around my desk. I do use and sample a lot of different things now. Of course, they get knocked over and strewn about. They get lost under my keyboard or roll off the back of my desk and no telling where else they end up. So, I started thinking about a way to keep that from happening. I started to wonder if Mark could make something with 510 connections mounted in it. I contacted Mark and he ran with it. I told him what I was looking for and told him I like dark colored wood, but wasn't particular. I have to say, he nailed it! This is the pic I sent Mark when I explained what I was looking for. This is what I received in the mail today: I puts some 510/eGo adapters on some of the 510 connectors and this is how it looks: Thank you Mark!
  2. How do the clearos that came with the MVP work? I've been curious about the Innokin clearos.
  3. The Vision Nova tanks have really impressed me. I tried a couple of other tanks and they didn't work that great. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Visions work. Very impressed with the coil life also... they just keep going strong. I've been using one for about 5 weeks now and it's still going strong. You're right about the mini though - you have to be carefull about getting juice down the center when you fill it. Once you realize that you know to be more careful. LOL!
  4. I don't know him personally, but I have chatted with him VIA email, forum and IM a few times. I wouldn't hesitate to order from him... seems like a real decent follow.
  5. I smoked for 20 years and was up to 1 1/2 packs per day. Made the switch pretty easily without much withdraw. I did have some cravings from time to time, but just vaped heavily until I got through it. Congrats!!!
  6. Madvapes has them in stock and currently running 10% off sale (for Veterans Day).
  7. I've seen different once called the V2. Some call the regular CE4 with long wick version 2. Some are calling the replaceable coil ones the V2 and some are calling them the V3. Just curious, which one do you have? How bad does it leak? I've been using one (not the replaceable coil type) off and on and the battery connector is always a little wet, but it doesn't leak enough to cause a problem or a mess. Have you tried a Vivi Nova? I used the 3.5ml for about 2 weeks and not a single drop leaked. Been using the mini for about 4 days and again, not a drop. I'm really surprised.
  8. Looks like Sweet-Vapes has them in stock.
  9. I got a few samples of these and they were total crap. I tried two different ones and all I got was dry hit after dry it. I'd let it sit for a while , get one decent hit and then back to dry hits. Oddly, I had one start leaking pretty bad and had to blow it out several time to make it quit, but even while it was leaking I was getting dry hits. Hopefully they've improved them. I tore one apart and it seems like it would work, but it just wouldn't wick.
  10. Yep - if you check the resistance with a multi-meter it will be around 1.5ohm.
  11. My switch starts flashing, but it's never cut off. However, once it gets that low, it doesn't seem to boost as well and I can tell that it's time to change the battery.
  12. The dual coil cartos have two 3.2ohm coils which gives you 1.5ohm total. Seems backwards, but that's the way it is. It can handle higher voltages.
  13. I used the DCT at 4.6V, but that's as high as my Provari would let me go before it shut down. LOL! The DCT has two 3.2 ohm coils making it 1.5ohm-1.5ohm total. I know that sounds backwards, but that's the way it is. It does put quite a strain on your battery. Not sure what device you're using, but many of them will shut down if you put to much load on the battery. I haven't used that exact CE5 either, but the ones I have used work pretty good. I've found that a lot of the 1.8ohm coils tend to burn a little hot and usually end up with my twist turned all the way down. I wouldn't be to afraid of experimenting with different voltages if you have a variable volt device. Just turn it up a little at a time... you'll know from the burning taste if you're getting to high. Back in the day (LOL!), before variable voltage devices, your only option for high voltage was to stack batteries or use a pass through. Stacking two 3V batteries, fresh off of charge, would give you about 6.4 volts. When 6 volts hits a regular 2.2ohm atty, sometimes they would just die instantly.
  14. ECF is calling them Advanced Personal Vaporizers (or APV).
  15. No damage - just a power outage. We're very fortunate here. We had probably 4-6 inches of very heavy wet snow come down very fast. Stuck to trees and pulled them down. We lost power at around 4am Tuesday. Funny thing is that about 2 hours after I decided to start the generator, the power came back on! I knew that would happen. LOL! At least next time I'm prepared. Lots of people still without power in this area. We're all doing good though.
  16. This is a very old thread, but almost 3 years later and I'm using this generator for the first time! LOL! It's working great too!
  17. You're a Vet - you've more than earned anything you're able to get. I know the feeling about not wanting handouts, but you're working to better yourself and improve your life for you and your family. No shame in that. GI Bill and Pail Grants paid for my college (and a small student loan). Fortunately, I didn't have a family when I got out of the service, so I didn't have many worries.
  18. Congrats Mike! It was just before Thanksgiving in 2009 that I started researching ecigs. Ordered my first 510 kit over Thanksgiving weekend and stopped smoking in December.
  19. The gurgling sound when you draw means there's juice in the air tube. You should not get a gurgling noise from it so it's good that it stopped. Whenever I get gurgling, I hold a paper towel over the end (battery connection end) and blow through the drip tip to get the excess juice out. Juice in the air tube can and usually will leak out... it's usually a precursor to heavy leaking because the carto is flooded.
  20. The Provari is sweet. Dripping takes a little time to master, but you will get leakage from time to time even after you get it down. Also, if you're hitting it heavy you're more prone to leaks... give the atty a little time to cool between hits.
  21. Have you tried Boge cartomizers? For the eGo batteries I would go with the Boge 2.0ohm. For the Provari, you can go with regular or 2.0ohm since you can adjust the voltage. I also like the EMDCCs (eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers). They would work on your eGo, but you'd need an 510 to eGo adapter to use it on the Provari. Hang around a bit - I'm sure there will be a lot more suggestion coming soon.
  22. The eGo-T batteries have a 510 connection, so you can use just about anything for a 510 on them. The Provari also has a 510 connection so you'll have compatibility. I'd keep the eGo batteries for a backup at least. You'll love the Provri - you just need to find the right atomizers for you. There's a lot to choose from now from just a plain atomizer to cartomizers to CE4 and other types of tanks.
  23. Roadrunner!!! LOL! I like Foghorn Leghorn also. I remember Schoolhouse Rock. Don't remember many of the toons... Scooby-doo, etc. My kids can't believe that we could only watch cartoons on Saturday morning when I was a kid.
  24. If you want to read about Bogegate: http://www.tasteyourjuice.com/topsecret/wordpress/bogegate/ I haven't had any problems either.
