  1. Good find. I've always been curious about how there can different sizes of the same battery that are suppose to be the same voltage and mah. I've got some Trustfire 14500s that are different sizes. I've also seen some 16340s that are suppose to be the same voltage and mah, but are 2mm different in size. I look forward to the follow.
  2. LOL! I'm sure those all work so well.
  3. How about this? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/43988-simple-easy-diy-test-mg-ml-nicotine-follow-up-dvaps-method.html
  4. Any chance this has built in protection circuit and doesn't need protected batteries? I think the Janty Stick uses unprotected batteries, but has internal protection built into the mod. It surprises me that stateside vendors would be selling this thing with unprotected batteries if there's no protection circuit built in. Also, I've heard that some protected batteries won't fit and that there's no vent hole. Can it vent through the switch, or is it well sealed?
  5. Most of the coffee flavors I've purchased tasted like burning coffee (not that good). I have found a DIY mix that works for me though. For some of the purchased coffee, they do get a little better after sitting for a few months. LOL!
  6. I vape the same thing 95% (or more) of the time. It's a DIY tobacco. Occasionally I'll switch to a coffee or something else for a day, but nothing else really tastes right to me.
  7. I remove the top when filling them also. Using the push method, once the juice starts coming out the tube in the center, slow down and give it time to soak in. Not sure exactly what type of carto you're using, but you should be able to get more than 1/4 of the cap. I usually get at least one full condom and then drip some in directly onto the filler. Sometimes I'll use the Taryn spin, or just shake it like an old thermometer to get the juice to soak in. Oh - yes - juice crackle is a sign the carto is working good.
  8. Not a horrible price, but still makes me cringe when you can get a full eGo kit (with two attys) for the same price (or less if you look around).
  9. Eclipse case production. Very cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwzvYV6Xn9M
  10. I think it's the cinnamon. I've been using a GP SSR and they have this warning: *WARNING!- Using eliquids with high cinnamon contents may cause damage to product!* We do not provide warranty for this use. Otherwise, We warranty the GP-SSR for 30 days. They also have the same warning on the CE2s.
  11. Have you tried making a bigger cut/hole in the carto? Seems like you could just keep getting a little bigger until it could keep up.
  12. What do you usually vape with? Would help to know a little more about what you want. You can get batteries lots of places, but madvapes is fairly popular if you just want regular protected lithium ion batts. http://www.madvapes.com/Li-Ion-Batteries_c_186.html If you want AW high drain try Super-T or COV. As for the atty, what do you normally use? With the 18650 you should be good for LR and up.
  13. I believe you need to keep the voltage lower (under 4.6V for mine) for the dual coil. This is a safety feature of the mod. The mod is designed to prevent a LR atty or carto from drawing to much amps from the battery. The dual coil wouldn't work on mine so I started dropping the voltage by 0.1V at a time until it worked. Glad you're liking the Provari.
  14. I wasn't busting you chops and didn't have a problem with the review. I just wanted to understand why you might think it could be a manufacturers mistake, and now I do - the juice was that bad (in your opinion). IMO, a mixing mistake is serious business. I'm not worried about someone getting a bad flavor, but I am worried about someone getting the wrong nic... Say a supplier (any supplier) adds extra nic instead of extra PG or VG. That could be a serious health problem for someone. So, I wanted to know what you meant. This wasn't just a case of you didn't like the juice, it was a case of the juice was soooo bad there must be something wrong with it (in your opinion).
  15. I don't have one, but I do have some of those boxes (pretty sure it's the same). The box itself is quite light... less than the weight of an ego battery. Just weighing by hand, one 18650 is about the same as an ego battery.
  16. If you had put this in your original review I would not have asked the question I did. This makes it more clear (to me) why you said what you did. Are you going to send this juice back so she can see if something is wrong with it?
  17. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Feel free to ask any questions.
  18. This is exactly how every other attempt to quit smoking went. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7vufuXMHOo
  19. Note at the end - a week later she was clocked at 242 mph! Awesome stuff.
  20. Hope your garage is air conditioned. You want to store your nic at room temp.
  21. Now that it's convenient (Provari), I change voltage quite often. I typically start my day with an eGo-T atty at 4.1V for my drive to work. Later in the morning I'll switch to a 510 atty and bump it up to 4.9V. Sometime I don't need 4.9V and will go with 4.4V unless I get stressed. For the drive home I'm back to the tank at 4.1V. Whenever I put on a new atty I start at 3.7V to break it in for a bit before going to higher volts. I've got some 3.0ohm clearomizers to try and suspect I'll use 5+V for those. I never did this with the Joker because it was a pain to change the voltage, so yes, it stayed at 4.9V.
  22. I looked up Coquitlam on google to see where you are. Ecigexpress has a store near White Rock, BC. Give them a call - I'm sure they'll hook you up. http://www.ecigexpress.com/
