  1. Last night I was refilling my EVOD and got frustrated that I didn't see any juice going into it. I FORGOT TO TAKE THE BOTTOM OFF! Nobody was around to see, but I sure felt like an idiot.
  2. I've found the same thing recently too Joe. The coils I've tested did drop down 0.3 to 0.4 after a couple of hours use, but were still higher than the stated resistance even after that drop. I've had some 1.8ohm coils measure 2.4 and drop to 2.1 after some use. 2.4 ohms measuring around 3 and dropping to 2.7 after some use. I've got some 2.8ohm coils that were right on the nose. It's disappointing especially since the coils that come with the nova kit were all right on spec (1.8, 2.4 and 2.8).
  3. Based on some other reviews, I decided to give the EVOD another shot. Been using one for 3 days now and have to change my opinion of it. Started using one Saturday morning and have been using it since then. It takes about 2 tanks to break it in good. I've been able to creep the voltage up to 4.1V on my Twist without any issues. Put it on my eVic and 4.1V is 8.8 watts. I'm really starting to like it now.
  4. Tameiki posted this in another thread... http://tasteyourjuice.com/wordpress/2013/01/09/will-the-real-kanger-t3-please-stand-up/ I guess as with everything new, it'll be worth giving another try in a few months after China makes improvements based on market feedback. Blu may be right about my sucking. LOL! If I'm not get adequate vapor, I'm sure I do suck longer and harder than usual. I may give the nano a try, but they just don't hold enough juice. Still love the Vivi Nova though.
  5. Mine whistled and dove me crazy! LOL!
  6. It took over a year to finally get my wife to switch to ecigs. She vaped for about 8 months and then quit completely. She's been smoke/vape free for over a near now. I don't see myself ever quitting though. LOL! While everyone has their own favorite setup, we all agree that vaping is about finding what works for you. As Jeff said, if it's working for you that's all that matters.
  7. Ok - so I've tried four different bottom coils clearomizers and I'm just not impressed at all. I've tried the Tabac BCC, the MT BCC, the EVOD (all three are made by Kanger) and the Vapeonly BCC. With the Tabac, I just got an awful taste right away and couldn't get rid of it. It was quite disgusting and I haven't been able to make myself try another one. The MT BCC was... meh. Of the three Kangers, I thought the EVOD worked the best. However, it seems you really have to keep the voltage/wattage quite low on these. I had high hopes for the Vapeonly, but it was more of the same. Even with the voltage low I still got burning from time to time. I usually vape between 8 and 10 watts and couldn't get anywhere near that with the BCCs, and at the lower watts it just didn't give enough kick for me. I tried turning the gasket upside down and I tried trimming a little off the gasket, but that didn't help. Also, more than once the tip turned into a straw and I sucked juice though. Not just a little condensation build up, but actual juice. I know that since I became a supplier I've become much more critical than I was when I was just a user. Am I being to hard on these? Just seems like there are regular clearomizer that work a lot better IMO. I like the idea of them and hope someday they'll be improved, but for me, they just don't cut the mustard.
  8. I've been using mine since Christmas Eve and love it. Yes, it is limited to 5V, 10W or 2.5A. That's what one of the complaints is... it won't go to 10W on a higher resistance atomizer. If you're using 1.8-2.4ohm coils you won't have a problem. However, if you want to use a 2.8ohm coil, you won't get up to 10W because you're limited to 5V.
  9. Just looking at the pic was relaxing. For me, it's usually sitting right here with a cup of coffee in the morning. However, I think the only time I'm really relaxed is when I'm wading the river and doing some fishing.
  10. I believe Vaperite has a store in Woodstock, GA. Looks like about an hour drive for you???
  11. All the eGo batteries have the same threading so you can use any 510/eGo type atomizer on any of the eGo batteries. With the eGo, you have a very large selection of different atomizers/cartomizers/clearomizers/tanks, etc to chose from. Anything with a 510 or 510/eGo connection will work (it's the most popular threading). Personally, I was never into cleaning atomizers. Luckily, the flavors I use all mixed pretty well together. I'm sure someone else will give advice on cleaning/switching flavors though. There certainly are some flavors that will linger longer than others. Your apprehension is understandable, but it sounds like you're headed in the right direction. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how well ecigs work. Welcome to the forum!
  12. Looks like you're off to a great start! Congrats on making the switch and welcome to the forum!
  13. Any LR 306 will work on an eGo-C battery. It's has a standard 510 connection, same as the 306.
  14. Give another EMDCC a try. They hold about 90 drops... any more and it will flow out the bottom. If you get the same experience and don't like them, shoot me an email or PM and I'll give you a store credit and you can order some Boges to try (I think I know who you are, but want to make sure the right person gets the credit). I've used them on a regular eGo battery and they work fine. They will drain your battery faster though, and if you have an old battery it will really drain it fast. However, as Chris mentioned, I like them best at round 4.1-4.4V. When I use a new one, I'll start off at 3.5-3.7V and then crank it up to 4.1ish after a few hours of use.
  15. I've been using them for about 2 months and love them. I'm using the 3.5ml on my Provari and the 2.0ml on a Twist. I do get some leakage from time to time, but it's only right after I refill it. Sometimes I just put a little to much in it. LOL! Just blow it out and you're good to go. Other than right after refilling, I've never had a leak. I also thought the 1.8ohm was a little rough, but after a couple hours of use that roughness went away. My first coil lasted about 6 weeks. It didn't die, but started to taste burnt so I pitched it and got a new one. I tried two other brands before I got the Vision and they both sucked. So, I didn't have high hopes for the Vision version, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good they work right out of the box.
  16. Tobacco and coffee. Just sayin'. LOL!
  17. What type of tank and cartomizers are you using? Is it just the one carto that acts this way in the tank, but other cartos work fine in it?
  18. Sorry, can't help you with cleaning tips. I've never been one to clean atomizers or cartomizers. I just use them for a week or two and pitch them - they are considered disposable. Most of the flavors I use blend well together anyhow. You can check around on the forum and youtube to find how some people clean them though... methods range from boiling to soaking in PGA (pure grain alcohol) or Vodka.
  19. They'll hold right at 90 drops... any more and it'll start running out the bottom. If you flood it, just hole a paper towel over the end and blow through it go get the juice out of the air tube. I usually hold it at an angle and rotate the carto as I fill it (drips a few drops, turn a little, drip a few drops). I did use a syringe once or twice, but it seemed easier just to drip into it. You may notice that it's a little rough on the first few hits, but it will get better after several drags. The first time I used one, my first thought was "man, this sucks". That was because of how rough it was at first. However, it cleared up after several hits. Every one I've used has done the same thing. I really like them.
  20. Yup, but I'm with Jeff... doesn't bother me anymore. Only a smoker knows how hard it is to quit smoking.
  21. I had Pong. We gave it away to relatives when we got an Atari. LOL!
  22. Variable voltage and variable wattage. This looks very promising. b. You can adjust the output power from 2.0W to 15w and the output voltage from 3.0V to 5.0V by yourself.
  23. OMG! I bet that's delicious! Seriously doubt my wife will go for it.
