  1. Welcome to Vapor Talk! The atomizer for the 510 will work on the eGo. The eGo has a 510 connection. The charger is not compatible (you can't charge 510 batteries on the eGo charger).
  2. It's been a while, but I do remember that the caros were very hot at 6V. LOL! I tried LR attys and didn't care for them, I've always preferred regular Joye 510 attys (2.2ohm) at around 4.9 volts (once I got a variable volt mod and started dropping voltage). If you look at going with a high voltage move, I would suggest getting something that is variable voltage, then you can use just about any atty/carto and adjust the voltage to suite your needs.
  3. You'll find a balance soon enough. I had been dripping most of the time and using cartos or the eGo-T when driving (45 minute drive to work). I'd also use a carto or tank when fishing or cutting the grass. Any other time I would direct drip.
  4. Yes - you'll burn through a lot more juice with the LR atty. That's why you get better vapor and throat hit. When I first started I couldn't get enough throat hit. They didn't have LR attys then. I vaped at 6 volts for a while. LOL! Do you have a drip tip?
  5. Congrats on two weeks! I don't use cartos, but there are quite a few members that do. Most will probably say 2-3 days and toss it. When I did use cartos, I usually got about a week or so. They are fairly cheap and meant to be disposable. Yes - vaping has come a long way in the last year and 1/2. There are so many new things and so many options. The eGo is a great battery and with the 510 connection you got lots of options. You can cut your juice with PG or VG, but it will dilute the flavor. Also, VG doesn't do as well in cartos (very thick) so you may want to use PG. Always feel free to ask questions - everyone is here to help.
  6. You're probably looking at something like the CE2s. I'm using them in a modified tank and they work pretty good. I haven't tried one in the form it comes in, but the reivews on them are mixed... biggiest issue seems to be problems with wicking and leaking/craking tubes.

    Hey Gang

Welcome to Vapor Talk! Glad to have you with us.
  8. Welcome to Vapor Talk! In my experience, the eGo-T LR atty will not give you the same bang as other LR attys.
  9. 510, but I would never recommend a mini to anyone unless they are a very light smoker.
  10. Don't have one, sorry. But hey, for $35 I wouldn't be disappointed if there are some flaws.
  11. When I first started vaping: 1. Throat Hit 2. Volume of vapor 3. Battery Life 4. Flavor Delivery 5. Cartomizer Capacity 6. Overall Weight Now: 1. Cartomizer/Tank Capacity (agree with TroopX - non wicking tank) 2. Battery Life 3. Throat Hit 4. Volume of vapor 5. Flavor Delivery 6. Overall Weight
  12. If you go with the tanks, get the LR version - they seem to work better. Like everything else with vaping, some love them, some hate them. I've had a few that worked great and a few that didn't work so well. My wife on the other had had been using them since March and has had good luck with them. You'd probably get better vapor and flavor with a carto though.
  13. It'll all work out. Finding your all day vape is usually the hardest part, but once you find it, it's all down hill.
  14. I used the Tenergy LiFePO4s in my SB for several months. Keep them in sets (I had 3 sets). I never had any issues. http://www.batteryjunction.com/rc375reliba.html I know a lot of people were also using the Tenergy RCR123A Li-Ion batts also. http://www.batteryjunction.com/4parc390reli.html The LiFePo4s will give you 5.2-5.4 volts under load. Be prepared to go through attys fairly fast and to occasionally pop one on the first hit. At 6V attys were lasting me about 2 weeks on average.
  15. I've actually heard good things about MikeUSA in the past.
  16. I never like the LR attys either. When I was vaping at 6V is was getting about 2 weeks from a standard Joye 510. After getting a vv divice and starting to lower my voltage, the attys started lasting much longer. at 4.9V I was getting 4-6 weeks. I believe Boba's Bounty is 100% VG, so that could be part of your problem. I vaped 100% VG and found it did clog up my atty much faster. That's just my experience... I know there are some who will say that's not true.
  17. You are correct. The eGo battery will last 8+ hours (10-12 for many). It uses a standard 510 connection and there are a variety of different atomizers/cartomizers you can use.
  18. I tried them and didn't care for them, but I agree with Dayvape - you should try them. You'll find with vaping that for just about every atty, carto, PV, juice, etc., there are some that love and some that hate each one.
  19. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Can't go wrong with an eGo.
  20. Sweet Dawn - Mmmmmmmm. An interesting flavor that surprisingly goes very nicely with a fresh cup of coffee. Sweet Dawn is a strong flavor is will linger in your atty for quite some time. If you're going to use Sweet Dawn regularly, you may want to have one atty for it.
  21. Typically in the vaping world, cartridges don't work well, which is why you learned about all the cartridge mods, which typically don't work that great either. That's why so many of us direct drip or use cartomizers. You may want to consider getting an eGo and some cartomizers. If you like that, you can invest in a Jazz pipe down the road.
  22. Coffee is my #2 vape. It also mixes will with my tobacco so switching between them isn't a problem.
