Welcome! Like SmokinHammer said, probably best to try a few vendors and diff. nic levels to see what works for you. I got some 18mg juice with my 1st ecig and was disappointed with the throat hit. A few days later my 24mg juice from the VT store arrived and oh man, what a difference. For me, that's the one. Great throat hit.

Well, I was sitting here happily vaping away and then nothing. Since I've already had two bad atty's, my first thought was "great, there goes number 3". However, I noticed that the atty wasn't even getting hot so I cleaned the connections and tried again. Got a litte vape and then nothing. Luckily, I had purchased 2 UBS pass thru's and when I tried the other one it works fine. I tried swithing back, got a couple of vapes and it died again. So I guess my question is this: Does the battery in the UBS pass thru need non-vape time to chagre? Is that even a battery in there? I had just assumed it was some type of fuse, but after looking at it, it looks like a battery.

If I had one, it would say I've saved $33.75 (no analogs for 5 days), but I've spent a little over $500 on ecig stuff. I reckon I'm about 3 months in the hole.

If we quit smoking analogs: 1) Less tax revenue. 2) We'll all be around longer to collect social security and get medicare. Double whammy. Sureley nobody's really thinking that way. This is most likely being driven by lobbyists and ideologues.

I believe the EPA just acquired a new power... if they make a declaration of something being harmful to the environment, then at that point they gain the power to regulate it (has anyone else heard this, or did I imagine it?). Don't be surprised is the FDA get the same power sooner or later.

This is a tough one, but I reckon it would be the employer decision and that should be based on the safety of it to others and the working conditions of the employees. However, remember that we are feeding our addiction here, and there will ALWAYS be someone who will find that offensive. We live in the United State of the Offended and all it takes on person to ruin it for us. While I'd love to be able to sit in my office and vape all day, I won't be holding my breath for that day to come.

Ok - I'm now on my 3rd atty! I've been very careful not to let this one get very hot, and I've used great will power to keep myslef from chain vaping. It's been working great until today. Last night I noticed that it was starting to leak a little, but not bad. Today it started leaking like a sive. Wasn't long after that and I would only get a couple of decent puffs before it started tasting burtn (just like the 1st atty I used). So now I'm on my 3rd atty in 7 days. Both of the 1st two were from one kit.. could it just have been a defective batch? Or is there some newbie thing I'm missing? The one I'm using now is from my 2nd kit. It's breaking in nicely so far. Sure hope it lasts longer than the others. Anyhow, just ordered 10 atty's from the VT store so I'll be set for a while (I hope). @Stubear62 - FYI - I boiled that 1st atty and let it dry for two days. Tried it tonight but I think it's toast. When I took a drag there was no resistance at all, barley any vapor, and it got scalding hot. Thought maybe I just didn't have enough juice in it, so I just kept adding a couple of drop after ever couple of puffs until it flooded. Used a paper tower to absorb some of it out, but it's still doing the same thing. Did I mention that when I ordered the 10 atty's I also placed my order for the VP/PT and some more Tobacco juice? I'm over $500 now and only been vaping for a week!

Welcome! I've been on the 510 for about a week now and love it. Looks like there's not much left to be said. Like Keena, I've quickly become a big big fan of the VT Tobacco. As for throat hit, I was using 18mg juice and not getting much hit. I switch to the 24mg and it's got a nice hit. I'm vaping pretty heavy and in 4 days I've used about 7-8 ml. I was a 1 - 1/2 pack a day smoker.

FYI - Cnubel did a nice review of the CHUCK down in the vid reviews section if you haven't seen it yet.

I seriously considered it today, but it's dark on the way to work and dark on the way home. Have to stay alert to avoid the deer!

So how do you chain vape while driving? I tried using a cart, but didn't last me very long. I'll try some other cart methods some day, but today the cart didn't cut the mustard.

Well said. Although I enjoyed vaping right away, the first 3 days were frustrating because I had a bad atty. Once I tried another atty my world changed. If you have problems don't get discouraged... help is just a click away.

Hello and welcome! WV? You may be the 1st WV I've seen on here, cept myself. I think you'll love the 510. I'm pretty new to this myself. Had my 510 for a week and been smoke free for 3 days now. I've smoked 1 to 1 1/2 pack a day for 20 years. I tried to quit a few times, but as time went on I gave up trying to quit because I knew I couldn't. Every time I even thought about quitting the anxiety of it made me smoke even more. Anyhow, I love my 510 and for the 1st time in many many years I really don't think I'll ever smoke another cigarette. I give the fine folks here at VT credit for my success as they've all been great. I found everything I need to know here before I ordered my first ecig. Good luck and keep us posted! Don't let any question go unasked.

Hello and welcome! When I first started looking into ecig I was quite unsure of what to do until I found this forum. Found everything I needed to know right here (and then some), and everyone was very helpful and supportive. I ended up getting the Joye 510 and I'm very happy with it. Been vaping for a week and smoke free for 3 days. I love this thing and for the 1st time in 20 years don't think I'll every smoke another cigarette (or "analog" as they're called here). The only problem is the battery life. When I got ordered mine I also go the UBS pass through since I spend a lot of time at my computer. If you're on the go a lot you may want the mega battery, other wise just make sure you're always able to have one on charge. Seriously, I'm only getting about 1-2 hours on the regular batteries.

Annoying yes, but if you forget and rub your eyes it will burn like crap! Not that I would know though.

When I first started looking into ecigs I told a guy at work about it, but at that time I didn't know much (hadn't found VT yet). He went on the net and did one of those free trial things from Smoke Everywhere. I told him he'd probably regret it. Took two weeks before he go the thing, and when it came he found out it would be $130 if he didn't return it in 14 days (had to give credit card # to get the free trial). Also, you have to call to get an RMA to return it. When he called to say he wanted to return it he got a line that told him there were a certain number of people ahead of and and to stay on the line. It kept telling him how may people where ahead of him until it got down to only a few people, and then the line would go dead. He never could get through. I showed him my Joye 510 today and told him I hadn't smoked in 3 days and didn't want to either. He was pretty impressed and is going to give the one he has a chance. Hope it works for him, but I'll point him in the right direction if it doesn't. Oh- Nice job VapinCT!
