Nicotine In Vaping Compared To Analogs
Brian replied to jmhester's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Holly cow! I vaped over 3/4 of a 10ml bottle of 24mg Saturday and Sunday. That's 52 analogs! Ok - yea, that's about what I used to smoke in two days. I'm sure I won't use that much juice during the week, but that will probably be the norm for a weekend. BTW - I was out of VT Tobacco so when my package arrived from VT on Saturday - that was all she wrote. I had other flavors, but I think I was having withdrawls from not having my fav. -
I had a real problem with my first four atty's. Now I'm pretty convinced that a big part of the problem was the UBS pass-thru's that I had. I had two ubs pt's, one died completely and the other just isn't working right. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they fried my atty's. Anyhow, the atty that came with my Spade has been going strong for 5 days (which includes a weekend of extreme vaping), which makes it the longest lasting atty I've had (hope I'm not jinxing myself). I've also tried another regular 510 atty that I got from VT and it's doing fine also. Just a note - what I've found is that I tend to see an increase in vapor at the same time I lose flavor and start getting that burnt taste. That's when I add juice. Don't know why the vapor increases when it needs juice, but that's the way I see it.

Can someone help me understand what the mAh on the batteries means? My spade came with 600mAh. I was just looking at the batteries for the Spade at the VT store and they're 360mah. What's the difference and what is the impact on performance? I want to get some spares to have handy, don't want to end up getting something less than what I have (performance wise).

Nice smorgasbord! I'm not as equipped as you (yet), but I can see myself doing that one day.

Sorry you're still down man. We miss you around here! There was only one time that I can remember not being able to smoke an analog. Like you're saying now, I just couldn't inhale it.

:wtf2: Includes raises for federal employees? How many business do you know that are giving out raises next year? My company has already announced that it won't be, and it a big company. $1.1 Trillion

Just giving credit where credit is due. Working on getting my wife switched over now, and if that goes well then I'll be even more thankful.

Hey Knight. I'm direct dripping, so not much help. I've been considering trying the PTB mod for when I'm driving (45 minute drive to work kills me). May want to check it out. There are some other vids and descriptions of it elsewhere also. The one below is from Stubear62. It's using pyramid tea bags for filler. PTB mod

Hey Kelly - Great job! You should introduce yourself! I see you have a few posts, but you must have snuck in.

599 ingredients! Good grief - I never knew. Actually, I've probably heard that before, but chose to tune it out. Welcome Celtic! Will you be sharing your paper with us when it's done? I'm sure we'd all love to read it (no pressure).

I placed my order with vapor4life. They were a little more expensive, but had a better selection (wifey wanted blue). Hopefully this will work for her. I went with the Ultimate Ultimatum Manual Kit. Comes with the PCC and case, USB PT and charger of course. Got 4 different flavors to get her started (she picked them). Thanks for all the advice and thanks to Stubear who initially sent me in this direction for my wife.

vaporkings - with an "s".

As much as I enjoyed vaping right off the bat, no doubt that after going through 4 atty's and a USB PT in 10 days I would I would have pitched everything and been done if I hadn't had the VT knowledge base at my back.

While reading the Ego post I came up with some questions unrelated to the Ego. I didn't want to hijack that thread, I'm starting a new one. I saw Smokingman's post that the VP2 battery lasts him 8-9 hours. My spade batts are lasting probably 3-5 (vaping heavily today). Other than the battery life, is there any other diffierence between the Spade and VP2? Is the VP2 much bigger? More vape? I've been eyeballing the VP2, but if the only diff is the battery life then maybe there's no point in getting one (trying to convince myself to stop buying more stuff). I've read the description and don't see any diff. With all the upcoming stuff (joker, maserati, ego), maybe I should just hold off for a bit.

Good to hear! Thanks for the update.

Forgot to mention that my wife still smokes analongs (I'm working on that) and I've been out to the "smoke shack" at work to vape several times, so I'm around analogs constantly and still don't want one. The smell of then is really starting to stink bad now.

Great! I have a pretty big clear glass ashtray that's been around for many many years (was one my Dad had used). I washed it and I'm using it to put parts in. I've got a couple of atty's and some carts that need washed out. Also have a small glass with q-tips sitting in it. I got 2 UBS PT's when I ordered my 510. One died already and I think the other is about to do the same. Both of them seemed to have good and bad moments, but looking back at all the problems I had in my 1st week I'm starting to think the USB PT was a big part of the problem. Also think they may have been part of the problem with me destroying 4 atty's in 10 days. I'm happily toking my spade now and loving it. Got an VP/PT on order.

I received my 510 on a Tuesday. For the rest of the week I vaped in the evenings and smoked analogs at work during the day. All day long at work I missed my vape. It is truely amazing. That Saturday was the 1st full day of vaping and haven't had an analog since. I had tried to quit several time many years ago, but it never lasted long. Got to where the anxiety of even thinking about quitting would cause me to smoke even more. I had pretty much given up on even trying to quit until I found vaping.

dylnne/Tiki - Congrats to both! That seems to happen a lot. I'm about to complete my 9th day haven't looked back. I love my vape!

Sorry - getting a little confused now. Steve said he didn't recomend the manual battery due the cheap switch. You said you agree, but say the manual battery is better. Anyhow, sounds like one vote for manual, one for auto. So you haven't had any problems with the manual batt? I'm ready to place my order... just trying to decide on manual or auto.

NO! I... CAN'T... SPEND... ANY... MORE... MONEY... ON... THIS... STUFF!!! This place is killing me!

Dang man! That you singing? Could be an American Idol in the making!

Well, I mentioned to my wife that it's now been over a week since I've had an analog and that I was looking into one for her that was hassel free. She actually got excited about it and said "good, I want to do it to." So, I'll be placing an order today for sure. Gonna spend some time pricing VK vs. V4L and looking to see if there are any cupon codes around here. Again - thanks for help and advice!

Very helpful info, much appreciated. To make sure I understand: The Vapor King sold at Vapor4Life is a KR808D-1? This is the same thing that Vapor Kings is selling as the KR808D-1. Just want to make sure they are the same.
-
Thanks! Seriously considering the KR808D-1. That's the one Stubear got for his wife and it sounds like it's going well for her. How is the vape on these? One more questions - do the automatic batteries work okay, or would the push button be better?
