I usually use 2-3 drops and get several good drags. Once the taste changes to that burnt taste and you get huge vape, it's time for a few more drops. If you're not getting much vape after dripping, you may have flooded it (do you hear bubbling when you take a drag?). You may try taking the corner of a tissue and absorb some of the excess juice out. I took me some time to get dripping down pat and I flooded a lot. Keep in mind too that you may still be breaking in the atty.

Except at work, I pretty much vape constantly. At work I still go out to the "smoke shack" to get a good vape, and occasionally take a stealth hit in my office. Really - at home when I'm at my puter I vape constantly. If not at the puter I usually get a few drags and I'm good for a while. Off topic - I'm starting to get quite an interest in the "smoke shack". I've made several referrals to VT now. Some people are genuinely interested.

I'm sure the mainstream media will be running this 24/7 for a while.

Welcome Derrek. Not much left to be said. Definatley spend some time here in the forum as you'll find a wealth of info, opeinions, help and support. It's a great place. Fortunately, I found this forum before I made my 1st purchase. I started with the Joye 510 starter kit, and quickly upgraded to a Spade for the battery life. I found that I actually like the bigger spade better than the small batteries. It just feels better in my hand, and I don't try to hold it like an analog. I smoked a pack to 1 1/2 packs a day for 20+ years. When I got my kit I vaped in the evenings after work and after a day or two I found myself missing my vape during the day. Started on a Tuesday - on Saturday I stopped smoking and vaped only. I went for 2 weeks without looking back. Like Chris says - it's about what works for you. Just don't give up if the Blu doesn't work for you.

Congrats man! Should have warned you about the juice that came in the prefilled carts... not the best. VT is gooood. I went through 20ml of VT Tobacco since last Saturday and started my last bottle today. Got 60ml of it waiting in my PO box that I'll pick up tomorrow. Sorry Keenan - I've pilfered your stock!

I'm using the one that came with my Space for VT Tobacco only, and one other one which I used with grape soda. I may have to open one more and try out that Colada. You got that right! Glad I'm not the only one who has seen this. Back on topic - I actually had a smoker tell me that the vapor couldn't be harmless if it had nicotine in it. I hadn't thought of it really, and couldn't respond to his statement. So, guess this post helps me if it comes up again.

They are awful Jeff, just awful. I can't imagine what was going through my mind when I first started smoking 20+ years ago... "oh, that tastes like crap, let me have another". @nana - I have two more Spade batts on the way, probably be here tomorrow. Also ordered a VP2 last week, which should also be here early this week. Just a little late, but I'll be better prepared next time. I'll definatley be ordering some more batts and getting a car charger. Worst part of this story - we had just got done wasting $300 at Walmart on crap that I don't need now. Not so bad, we'll be a little more prepared next time. Walmart was picked clean, but I did manage to get a coleman stove so I could at least heat some water for coffee and heat soup for kids. So we got home and I was getting the stove ready. Filled it up with gas and had it all hooked up (for outdoor use only). Came in and filled a pot of water (was dieing for some coffee). I was feeling pretty manly at this point - going to braze the cold to boil some water for my coffee (even though it wasn't much colded outside than it was inside). Anyhow, I was heading out the door with a pot of water and my wife yells "honey". I say "hold on a minute" - of course I was thinkg "can't you see I'm busy". So I come back in and she points to the lights - they were on!!! We celebrated, and then I became a little sad that I didn't get to use my new gas stove, but not too sad. Power's been on over an hour now and it's just now up to 66 degrees in here! Man it was cold.

Hey all. Just got power back on here in WV. It's only been a day and half, but seems like forever. Went off at 5am Saturday morning. My Spade and 510 batts lasted me until about 3pm - after that it was back to analogs. Ich. Guess I experienced vapor rage for the first time and definately felt some anxiety knowing that my battery supply was limited. Anhow, power came back on about 1pm today and my Spade batt and two 510's are charging. Be back to vaping soon - gosh, do I miss it. Reclon I need to start going through my freezers to see what needs pitched. I'm probably one of the lucky ones as I know there are a lot of people without power around here and up the coast.

Similar situation here. One kick a$$ battery that's lasting 4-5 hours of pretty heavy vaping. The other one only lasts 2-3 hours and doesn't seem to have as much kick. I've noticed that the one with the shorter life seems to charge much faster than the other one. Maybe it's just not getting a full charge. Anyhow, I've got 2 more on the way for spares. I've got no complaints. I did have a concern about the atty leaking, but now that I've mastered the art of dripping I think that problem is gone... haven't had a leak in a few days now.

I saw on Grimm Green's review of the VP/PT that you can use catomizers on it. Is anyone doing this? Looking for feedback. I got a KR808D-1 for my wife this week and she'll be trying it out this weekend. I got this because I was looking for something hassel free to get her started. I haven't received my PT yet (backordered at VT), but reckon I'll try a catomizer on it for myself and see. This may end up being a two VP/PT household. On a side note - ordered my VP2 first thing this moring.
