  1. It takes some getting use to. Sometimes I still get this for the first few drags off of a freshly charged battery. I didn't have much of an issue with it when I first switched. However, due to a snow storm knocking out my power this past weekend, I had to smoke analogs for a day after all my batteries died. When the power came back and I had my batt charged, it was a bit of a surprised at how hard the vape hit me. Probably took about an hour to get use to it again. I'd give it some more time and try some other juices.
  2. Being a bit of an introvert and non-confrontational, I'll keep myself confinded to designated smoking area and stealth vaping in my office. Not much of an issue though as I don't go out much. Work, home, work, home.
  3. Off topic, but this reminds me of a funny story. Many years ago (back when I was in the AF) me and a couple of other guys went grocery shopping. Two of them got to playing around with the carts and ran into a shelf knocking off and breaking 2 jars of spagetti sauce. What a mess. Anyhow, they left that isle pretty fast. About a minute later I hear over the intercom... "clean up on isle 7. Parents, please watch your children!" I could't believe they did that! They went to report the mess, but told the clerk that a little kid had done it. I guess you had to be there, and still be young, but it was funny at the time.
  4. Hey - let me know how that coffee is. I've got some coffee (Mr. Bean) coming from dietsmokes that I'm anxious to try.
  5. The idiots out to make a quick buck with no regards for anyone other than themselfs will give the FDA (and the public) plenty of amunition. No doubt about it. I hope the media plays fair and reports on both sides of the story, but I doubt that will happen.
  6. What a lot of people don't realize is that most big companies are self insured. They pay a 3rd party (BCBS/Aetna, etc) to administer the plan, but the company pays for all of the medical costs incurred. I work for a pretty big company and I estimate that the health care cost is about 22% of the company's gross payroll. Now, it appears that if the company decides to drop it's hearlth care plan the penalty will only be 8% of payroll. What would you do? That would appear to be a big savings to the company and would force me and my family into the government option. This bill is a step toward getting EVERYONE on gov-care and it stinks! I'm all for reform, but in the form of tax incentives, tort reform and allowing insurance companies to compete across state lines. I'm all for helping my fellow AMERICANS, but there are ways to do that without screwing the majority of the population out of what we currently have. No good can come from this bill.
  7. I remember him from the early 90's. Funny.
  8. Excellent! I may have to try this also. I've only got about a 45 minute drive so this will be good for me.
  9. Always great to hear how well vaping works for someone. Thanks for sharing and good luck on the job!
  10. I thought the same thing - even went back and reread everything to see what I missed. RustyVape - other than an occasional flareup in the "the vapor lounge", we're peaceful here man.
  11. Wasn't it Darell? I do remember watching Newhart, where they owned the inn up in Vermont. I use to love that show. I rember the Eddie Murphy thing too. Now, "have a coke and smile and shut..."
  12. He's looking at the KR808D1 which uses cartomizers (cart and atty are one piece). You can refill it a few times before it starts to lose vapor. I got one for my wife. Haven't used it yet, but it looks pretty nice. We'll be testing it out soon.
  13. Talk about hitting the nail on the head! Kids won't be responsible for themselves if parents don't take responsibility for their kids.
  14. You are correct and it sounds like a pretty good idea for a way to test it out.
  15. Congrats man! You'll love it. I've only heard good things about Jason - so no worries there. Now, like you said, hope the anticipation doesn't drive you crazy. It'll be worth the wait.
  16. Welcome NavyLight (again). I ordered an 808 for my wife from vapor4life. We haven't tried it out yet, but there are a few members here that will give you some feedback soon I'm sure. The link below is a post I started when I was looking for a hassel free answer to get my wife converted over. This may help answer some of your questions. Sorry about your experience on another forum... I assure you that will never happen here. This is a great place to get info and ask questions and have a good time. Everyone is very knowledgable, helpful and supportive. Oh, yea - glad you like your 510! Congrats on making the conversion! Cartomizer Info FYI - Although the one I got at vapor4life is not called a KR808 on that site, it is a KR808, just marketed under their own name. It's the same unit you'll find on vaporkings and other sites.
  17. Hey NavyLight - Welcome! Best of my knowledge, yes, carts don't last very long. Some use them, some don't. I like to direct drip, but planning on trying this tea bag mod to use while driving. I hear the best you can do on a cart is about the equivelant to 3-5 analogs. There are some ecigs that use catomizers, which is a cart/atty combined. I hear they can last a day depending on how much you vape. I got one of these for my wife, but haven't tried it out yet. There are a few members here using them though. Again - welcome to the forum - you should introduce yourself!
  18. Nice job - thanks for posting. My VP2 will be here tomorrow! Can't wait to try it out.
  19. Good grief! Now you've made me feel old again!
  20. Well, thanks for making me feel not so old! I know of Bob Newhard and those shows, but don't remember anything about them. I'll have to look up some of that older stuff. I think my favorite Bill Cosby is "To Russel, the Brother Whom I Slept With". It's just so real... growing up with a brother I feel like it's exactly how we were. I was able to burn the old albums to my puter so they're handy anytime. Still love listening to them. Anyhow, at 42 I know I'm not that old, just feel old. I first started feeling old when the radio started calling my music "clasic rock"! :wtf2: Then, I had some co-workers who didn't know who Daisy Duke was. IMO Jessica Simpson has NOTHING on Catherine Bach!!! Wait - I'm only 41!!! Holly Crap! Now I really do feel old - can't remember how old I am.
  21. There's talk of adopting IFRS, so don't hold your breath. Another step towards one global mess. FASB/ISAB & IFRS
  22. All the posts about web design and computers and OS reminded me of this old problem solving chart. It's old, I know, but still funny.
  23. I do hope that from time to time you take a moment to relax and bask in the glory of your creation. < bow emoticon goes here >
  24. I've been a little paranoid about this after reading somewhere on here about someone having some paper on their desk burn up. I don't know anything about the Protege, but the Spade button has pretty good resistance, and it kinda snaps back out when you release it. I could see it getting pressed accidentally, but not staying pressed unless constant pressure was applied. For example, I could see it getting pressed is you squeezed your purse under your arm, but it would pop out as soon as the pressure was released. Still, can't be too careful. Maybe you could try some type of case for it, like a pen case???
