I've used it with a fresh battery and a usb PT, but the results are the same. Getting pretty good flavor and throat hit, but little vapor. I'll keep playing with it.

My wife started using her KR808 and so far it's pretty rough on her. I keep telling her it takes some getting use to so hopefully she'll keep trying it. I'm thinking of filling a cart with some 18mg 555 I have to see if it's a little smoother for her. Anyhow, my question - I've played around with it and taken several drags using different techniques and can't get much vapor. I'm feeling the throat hit, but the vapor is barely visable. The unit and caromizers are from vapor4life. I seem to recall SteveD1 and ddavelarsen saying the vapor production was pretty good on these. So guys - Is ther any secret to getting the good vapor besides taking an extremely large drag? Is there a breakin period for a cartomizer?

Well, I've been considering this. However, I saw that Nana tried it and seems to like the 510 better, so at this point I figured if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Maybe next time I order something I'll try an 801LB.

Rumor has it that Chris spreads pixie dust over the internet to attract us and make us want to sign up. For me, I think I'm as addicted to this forum now as I am to vaping. Thanks for sharing that information about reducing oxygen to the brain. I guess that explains why I feel smarter since I started vaping.

I agree with Keenan. It's right behing Traditional Tobacco for me. It's what I used when I ran out of Tobacco.

Welcome BMW! You've definatley found a place with a bunch of friendly, helpful and supportive folk. I, like many others, started with a 510 and love it. I smoked 1 to 1 1/2 packs a day for 20 years. Once I started vaping, I haven't looked back. I like vaping more than I liked smoking. It's been really amazing. As has been said here many times, don't put any pressure on yourself to quit smoking. Just start vaping and see what happens. I started vaping on a Tuesday evening. I vaped only in the evenings after work and found that after a couple of days I was missing my vape while at work smoking analogs. That same Saturday I vaped all day and was done smoking. So, don't puressure yourself. We had a 2 day power outage here last weekend and I had to smoke some analogs for a day after all my batteries died... no big deal. I would highly recommend a 510 starter kit. However, most people end up going for a MOD soon after getting a starter kit. The batteries that come with a starter kit generally last 1-2 hours at best so most people after liking the 510 eventually get a batterly mod such as the Spade, VP1 or VP2. I have Spade and a VP2 and love the spade (VP2 is for Christmas so haven't used it yet). The batteries for the spade will last 4-5 hours per charge. The Mods are a little more expensive, but most people end up getting one eventually. The VT store has a Spade starter kit you may want to check out. Anyhow, I've babbled on long enough. Don't hesitate to ask any questions and again - Welcome! And BTW - when I had to smoke those analogs during the power outage - ICK!!! They sure were nasty. I've stocked up on batteries this week and will be prepared next time!

Hello dch - welcome to the forum. What nic level are you using? Have you tried any VT juice? The juice I purchased when I got my started kit (18mg) didn't have much kick and I was disappointed. Luckily, I had already ordered some juice from VT store in 24mg and it's great for me. Got a really good throat hit. I'm using a 510 with a spade right now and also just got my VP2. Spade batteries are lasting me 4-5 hours. I hear that VP2's last 8+ hours. You should introduce yourself! Again - welcome.

This really ticks me off! You pay into something your whole life, and then then you're eligible for the benefit you can't afford it? :wtf2: Same with social security - you pay into that your whole damn life - so why do you have to pay taxes on the benefits when you receive them?

Been wondering the same thing! However, I figure behind the scenes in some vape filled room, people like Chris and Parked are hard at work on it. I could be wrong, but won't be surprised if we see some competition in the next year or 2.

Hope it doesn't get too bad. I've been keeping a close eye on that storm. Earlier in the week it first showed us (WV) getting mostly freezing rain/ice. I was worried. Now it looks like we'll be getting rain on Thursday changing to mostly snow on Friday. I hope it stays that way.

After last weekend's two day power outage, I'm in the process of stocking up on batteries! I've got 11 working atty's at the moment, but will probably just get a few each time I order anything. Sorry you had to use analogs.
