  1. I've used both and also like the tanks better, but can't really explain why. I wasn't a huge carto fan (I was a dripper), but did use them when I was driving or fishing (on the go type things). However, after getting the tanks I never used another carto. I didn't have any DOA, but I did have some that just never performed well. That became the turnoff for me. When they worked, they work great, but when you get a bad one, it's a PITA. My wife has been using tanks for a while now and really like them and hasn't had any problems. When I was using the tank full time, I was getting 4-6 weeks, but they are lasting much longer for my wife, but she doesn't vape as much as I do.
  2. If you want a juice with more VG, you may want to try the Organic juice from VapeRite. It's 100% VG, but somehow it's not as this as normal 100% VG juice. That's all my wife uses and it works great in the eGo-T. She like the Waffle and Blueberry Pancake. I'm not much on them, but she loves them. I do like the VR4 tobacco - very nice flavor.
  3. Can't go wrong with the eGo. Were you using dual coil cartos on those little Blu batteries? That could certainly kill them.
  4. On the tank, you can pop out the little mouth piece and the one directly underneath it. See the hole (the air hole on the part you put in your mouth)? Just stick a paper clip or something in it and pop it out. Just below that is another one you can also pop out. I found this gave me a better draw, better vapor, and it keep you from getting juiced. Condensation can build up around the air hole and eventually you will suck it through (yuck). It's the first thing I do when I get a new tank. And no, it won't leak.
  5. I didn't find ChocoJava to be a very strong coffee flavor and don't recall having a problem with it. However, many other coffee flavors I've tried tend to taste a bit like burned coffee and it will take some time to get the taste out.
  6. Glad the new juice is working out for you. Don't forget, your taste buds are damaged from the many years of smoking so it may be difficult to get good taste. Many report improved taste after only a few weeks (but for some it seems to never come back, or takes much longer).
  7. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Looks like you're on the right track. I agree with everyone else - get a few more flavors. When I ordered my first kit I got two 30ml bottles of one flavor and one 30ml bottle of another flavor. They weren't very good, but it didn't take long to get some new juice in. Several months later I tried them again and they were still awful. LOL! 90ml of juice down the drain.
  8. I would try a carto and if you like them, then look into one of the tanks Dayvape mentioned. I'm using a CE2 tank and it working pretty well for me (been using it over two months now). I've never tried just using a CE2, but I like them with the tank for sure.
  9. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Glad to have yall with with us.
  10. Glad you're enjoying your eGo. Welcome to the family!
  11. Exactly! LOL! You're quite welcome - any time!
  12. Hard to explain, but the vid below actually shows him take one apart. This vid for the cartomizer tank. Electronicsitx has a similar one called the J-Tank. There are also version for the dual coil. Works similar to the CE2 tanks, except the CE2 tanks are a bit more complex since you have to cut the CE2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-49YN6RzXg&feature=player_embedded#!
  13. They do have the eGo-T, you just have to scroll down.
  14. Delivery system? You talking about the atomizer or the battery? It comes with a 510 connection. I've used 510s, Cartomizers, eGo-T (with an adapter). I'm currently using a GPSSR tank (for CE2s). The GPSSR is no longer being sold, but there are other tanks out there. As for battery, it uses a single high drain 18500, 1100 mah battery. The Provari boosts the voltage. I got the extension cap and use the AW 18650 1600 mah battery, which last me all day most of the time. The Buzz Pro is another popular vv mod you may want to check out (www.notcigs.com).
  15. I haven't ordered from them either, but have also heard good reviews on their juice. Couple of other places with good prices on the eGo-T: Vapor Galaxy - $60 (use VTALK for 10% off = $54). Liberty Flights - click the 20% off on the top left of the page - $52 for the 650 mah kit, $55 for the 900mah kit. http://www.vaporgalaxy.com/Genuine-Joye-eGo-Series-Starter-Kits_c21.htm http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=40
  16. I think it's the difference between Genuine Joyetech vs. other brands. I honestly haven't spent much time looking into it, but I thought that Joye throttled down their batteries and used pulse technology to actually simulate the 3.7V, but don't take my word on it. I use an eGo battery when I go fishing from time to time and that's it - I'm using mods any other time.
  17. The 510 threading should be the same, so standard 510 attys/cartos will work. Where it may be different is is the threading/dimensions for the external cone. The cone for one may not fit on the other. The typical 3.7V battery charges to about 4.2V. So when you start vaping, you get 4.2V, but that drops off as you use it.
  18. I can't guarantee the 510 charger will work on the eGo. Some have the correct fitting, others are different. If the fitting is the same, it will charge, but slowly. If you can stretch it, go with the eGo and skip the 510. You can pick up an eGo for $50 at puresmoker, or $40 at Libert-Flights (make sure you click on the 20% OFF coupon box at the top of the site). http://www.puresmoker.com/product_p/joyeego.htm http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=40
  19. I think you've made a good choice. Finding your all day vape (juice) is usually the hardest part. For me, it was Vapor Talk Tobacco.
  20. Here's a GrimGreen review of the K-Go battery and Dual Coil. I tried a dual coil and didn't care for it, but didn't really give it a chance. As for the Provari, I've been using mine since January and love it.
