  1. Congrats on your first month! So far so good for me... it's only been the habit parts, such as reaching for my pack of cigs that aren't there any more, but no real cravings for an anolog. What mg nic are you using?
  2. On a serious note, if something were to happen to your VP2, those regular 510 batteries could be a life saver. You may consider holding on to them.
  3. LOL! We ALL know you're SPECIAL. The "t" was just a typo... I would never change your name as it is so perfect for you.
  4. I hadn't thought of it that way... it does make sense.
  5. The thought is a little unsettling.
  6. Everyone says no, but here's the discussion of it: My link
  7. Excellent post Galex - Thanks you. While reading that it reminded me of something that happened about a month ago. At work I opted out of vision insurance and just increased the amount I put in flex spending account. Figured I wasn't likely to spend more than what the premium was in a year anyhow. So, my wife takes my daughter (6 years old) to get an eye exam and glasses. When getting ready to pay the bill, of course they ask for her insurance info. My wife said that we don't have insurance, we'll be paying for it. So the lady calls the doctor and explains that we don't have insurane and the doctor changes the bill!!! He took almost $100 off the bill! Total BS!
  8. And if you try to return it you'll have to call for a Return Authorization. Good luck with that. I know someone who did that. Got an automated system telling there were X number of customers ahead of him and his call would be answered in the order of the call. When the number got down to 2 or 3 the line would go dead.
  9. Let us know when you get that vid posted, and welcome to VT!
  10. I had a real problem with the "slow" part of the long slow drag. Actually took me a while to really understand that. Glad you're getting it.
  11. I can see you with a one year supply of VT Tobacco ("the good stuff").
  12. LOL! Kinda goes along with that "oily discharge" one.
  13. Don't fret - we ended up having a little fun on this thread - there's nothing to it (Schitzopretart is the exception).
  14. With the stock batteries I was getting 1-2 hours at best between charges. That's where the MODs come in. The Spade, VP1, VP2, etc. Those are battery mods and will work with the 510 atty. The Spade and VP1 have a battery life of about 3-5 hours, and I've been getting 8-10 good hours on my VP2. I didn't like how hot the atty got on the regular batteries either, but everyone says it's normal. However, you do need to let it cool down some between vapes. Fortunately, I have noticed that the atty does not get nearly that hot on the mods (I have a Spade and VP2). Not sure why that is (bettery energy deliver?), but it definately stays cooler.
  15. It was Smoking Everywhere, right? It's okay, we know. Don't sweat it, you'll love your 510. For now, you may try dripping two drops onto the atty directly. A guy I work with had a Smoking Everywhere unit. I pulled the cart off and dripped a coulple of drops directly on the atty and it made a big difference.
  16. Have you found a 500mah 3.7v battery that's the same size? I would think a lot of ppl would be all over that (I'd get some for my Spade). I'm not going to answer because I'm unsure, but I would think it would be okay. My understanding is that the mah is just how long the battery can deliver the 3.7v, so I don't see why a 500mah, if available, wouldn't work.
  17. Yep - you know how the 1st few hits off of your freshly charged 510 battery are really good, and then it kinda goes down hill? The VP2 will give you a good 8 hours of that. Using the VP2 or Spade is like having a freshly charged regular battery for a long time. If you're wanting more vapor you may try the VP/PT first. I believe you can plug that into the wall to get a true 5v, which should produce wicked vapor.
  18. Man - that's a sweet collection. So what's your favorite?
  19. Most of the mods are just better battery delivery systems and most of them will use the 510, 901 and 801 atty. The VP2 is set up for the 801, but you can get an adapter for the 510 or the 901. I'm using the VP2 with the 510 and getting 8-10 hours of good battery life. The Spade is made exclusively for the 510 and is also good (I generally get 3-5 hours on a charge). I've used both and they are both great, but I'm using the 510 atty with both. If you spend a lot of time at the computer, or close to a wall plug, you may check out the VP/PT. I've got one on back-order at the VT store. Have only heard great things about it and can't wiat to get mine.
  20. Spade is 3.7v. I don't have a 5v either, but my VP/PT will be. If I like that at 5v then I may look into a cary around 5v. You may wait a bit... the Joker will be out soon. We're all patiently awaiting to see how it looks.
  21. No doubt, good customer service is GOOD BUSINESS. Seems obvious, but some just don't get it.
  22. I will try this. Only problem is, if I drip then I must vape. Can't seem to put it down knowing there's good juice in it.
  23. I think that was his point. Some vendors know they have crap, but continue to push it as quality merchandise. Hence, making them BAD suppliers.
  24. Yep, me. I'm not beaming with self confidence, never have. You and BMW are too kind - I appreciate the supportive feedback. @BMW - you're doing great. As for spelling, I keep an empty word doc open and often have to check the spelling of words I use. Wish Chris would get a spell check on here. Honestly, I've been using computers so long I can't spell for crap anymore. I read about the primary at wikipedia, and also found some other articles that verified it. I couldn't find anything "official" on the Califoria gov or voter pages. However, it sounds like this is not set in stone from year to year and can change. I also saw something about being able to change your affiliation for a day to be able to vote. You'll definatley have to check into it further.
  25. I don't know - that's what Chris did with his Cheesecake and it seemed to work pretty well. (j/k) You're 100% on this one. Good post.
