  1. So glad you're enjoying your 510. @nana - thought you were always right???
  2. Like Jeffb said, hair starts growing in strange places as we get older. Although he didn't say "back", he could have. Guess it's a guy thing.
  3. I still visit the "smoke shack" at work for my vape break. I've gotten quite a bit of interest and have been spreading the word. I think it's a little more impressive now that I can say I've been smoke free for a over a month. Everyone knows I was one of the fastest smokers in the shack... I could really put them down. Hope I'm making an impression.
  4. Welcome to VT and congrats on finding vaping! It only gets better now.
  5. This is actually the first complaint I've seen about V4L. I ordered a KR808 kit and some carts, and they threw in quite a few freebie carts and 3 bottles of juice. I was happy with it. I've heard good things from several other members, but I don't like the sound of this. How long has it been without a response?
  6. Welcome to Vapor Talk Aegis! Good choice on the 510. As for auto batteries, I've never tried them due the advice I got here on VT.
  7. This is good news as I still have 3 duds that I can't bring myself to throw away. I'll give them a try on my VP/PT when it gets here (should be soon)!
  8. Definatley sounds good... like they're planning for a quick start.
  9. VT Tobacco. Occasionally a coffee type flavor, but VT Tobacco 95%+ of the time. Been vaping about a month now and have 5 empty bottles of it... the only empties I have. Dang - just noticed - almost 6 empites of it.
  10. Thanks Jeso - This is what I was hoping someone would say. I didn't think there was anything wrong with Spade since it was working fine up until the day I got my VP2. I was thinking the same thing, but wasn't exactly sure where the contact point was. Figured I just wouldn't be able to use an atty on that's been on my VP2 on my Spade. I'll give this a try just to make sure my spade is ok, but pretty sure what you said is the problem.
  11. Oh man - VT Tobacco is the cream of the crop. Mine and many other's favorite here. You sound a little like me in the flavor department. VT Tobacco is my every day all day long vape. I have some coffee that I like in the evenings sometimes. I've got several other flaovrs, but always return to my VT Tobacco.
  12. Well, now that I've got my color back, let me tell you a story. Rewind to yesterday morning... I had two atty's that were starting to get a little sluggish (loss of flavor, less vapor, harder drag). So, I figured what the heck, I'll try one of the cleaning methods I've read on here, and I boiled them in distilled water. With those put up to dry, I opened a brand new atty and slapped it on my VP2 and away I went. After lunch today I decided to try one of the cleaned atty's to see how it worked. Now, I haven't used my Spade much since Christmas (got a VP2), so I figured it needed a good workout. I load a fresh battery, screw on the atty, add a few drops of juice and... and... and... NOTHING! First thougt - I killed the atty. Surely not. I put the atty on my VP2 and holly cow that thing is fantastic! Vaping better than when it was new. So what's wrong with my Spade? Put atty back on Spade, nothing. Change battery, nothing. Check battery in charger - green. Put battery back in, nothing. Clean battery ends, clean spring and anything connection I can with earaser, clean atty connection points with alchohol. Reassemble, nothing. Atty back on VP2 - works great. Atty back on spade, nothing. Take new atty that was on VP2 and put on spade... two very faint puffs, then nothing. Try both atty's on VP2 - work great. Clean Spade again - nothing. Keep in mind that this whold time I keep putting both the atty's on the VP2 and "trying it". After about an hour of this I start to feel a little green, and light headed. Whoa, run to bathroom and puke. Ok - feel a little better at that point, but put off my testing for a few hours. This evening I take out a brand spanking new atty, put it on the Spade and it works great. Fast forward 2 hours and here I am. The new atty on the Spade is still working great. At this point I'm afraid to take the atty off for fear it won't work again, but I will have to experiment some more. So, there are two final things: 1. The moral of this story - if you're having problems with your PV, be careful not to vape yourself sick trying to figure it out. 2. How can I have two atty's that work perfectly on my VP2 and won't do a thing on my Spade? I'm dead serious here.
  13. @ Galex - you have a great way of showing the other side of things. Nicely done. Having said that, it still seems there could be a better way for the FDA to go about it's business.
  14. Jeffb has a review of the xhaler in the written review section... looks like he's not that impressed with it. I don't have any HV unit yet, but will have my 5v PT soon. Glad you keeping at it. My link
  15. My first vape was of 555. VT Tobacco is similar, but sooo much better (IMHO). It's hard for me to imagine someone liking 555 and not liking VT Tobacco.
  16. The base unit purchased alone does not come with atty's, but both vaprlife and dietsmokes sell VP2 sets which come with atty's. I got mine from dietsmokes and it included 2 atty.
  17. Did you make a decision on which atty you're going to go with, or which VP2 setup you're going to get, and from where?
  18. One more thing - for an on-the-go ecig, you may want to look a the KR808. It uses cartomizers (2 pice ecig). Each cart is also an atty. The carts hold a lot more juice and can be refilled 2-3 times (some more). The prefilled carts that come with it didn't work great for me, but the blank carts that I filled myself work really well. Getting good vapor, great flavor, and good TH from it. I've been using one for my drive to and from work and it's worked out well. The 510 is still my regular vape and I only direct drip with it. I got mine at vaper4life, but they're available at some of the suppliers listed here in the forum. I know Electro-Nix-Stix has them also.
  19. Two weeks in I got a bit of a sore throat and vaping burned like... well you know. Was pretty rough for a couple of days. I'd say the cough is either from the cold or your lungs clearing out for 36 years of smoking, I hear that's normal. Oddly, I didn't have much of that. Keenan was sick not long ago and could not vape. He said as soon as he tried to inhale he had a coughing fit. Guess what I'm saying is that if you've got a bad cold it may be part of the problem. As for the VT juice, I can't say enough good things aobut the vapor and TH you get from it. I don't recall what flavors you like, but the Traditional Tobacco is my fav (and many others). The store ran out of the 24mg this morning, so if you order wait until they have the 24mg back in stock.
  20. There was a Chinese misprint on a bunch of the 360 mah batteries... they were printed with 600, but they are really 360 (per Chris). These may be part of that batch as I've not seen a 600 mah battery.
