No offense to anyone, but ROLL TIDE!!!

That's funny - I was explaining my VP2 to one of the maintenance guys at work and he said jokingly, "Man, why don't you let me modify that and hook it up to a 12 volt battery." Like you, I was thinking COOL!

VT Dulcis is a given. The only other one on your list that I've tried is is the E-N-S RY4. Just got that in the other day and I really like it.

I think Keenan was a huge vaper of Arno's 555 (awsomevapor) before he got VT Tobacco.

Tired Of Research...someone Tell Me What To Order!
Brian replied to leah's topic in New Vapers Forum
Hi Arcangel - welcome to VT. I would definatley suggest following in Leah's steps. Although many of us go a little overboard with buying different units, it's certainly not necessary. As you can see below my "quit smoking meter", I've spent almost $800 since I started vaping a little over a month ago. However, I've got 4 different units, and probably have enough atty's, juice and batteries to last me a year. I was smoking about 1 1/2 packs a day and stopped completely on my 4th day of vaping. I figure at 1.5 packs of Marlboro Lights a day it's going to take me 4 months to cover what I've spent on vaping, and as you can see, I've only got 3 months to go. At this point, I don't plan on buying anything else until my savings is more than what I was spending on analogs. No doubt you can save a lot of money vaping vs. analogs. -
Tired Of Research...someone Tell Me What To Order!

Very happy that you like it! I don't think anyone charges the batteries for 8 hours on the first go, unless you're a complete nerd like me. Funny, I don't usually read instructions, but the one time I did I felt compelled to follow them. -
How Many Blow Into The Atty To Cool It Down.

Same here. Noticed this is what they do in a lot of the vids, so I've been doing this pretty much since day 1. -
Help, What Are Your Top 3 Favorite Vapor Talk Juices?!
Brian replied to fatalis's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
Sweet Dawn - you're such a tease. :P My fav - Tobacco & Dulcis. -
I'm so glad you got it, and like it! I was wondering if maybe you get any flavor with it? I know you say you don't taste very much when vaping, but that was the first thing I noticed with the PT, the flavor is amazing! So much stronger than on my Spade or VP2. Reckon I'll have to try one of those Joye 302's on it soon too. I'm happy for ya!

OMG Nana! I can't believe it! @Harold - Welcome Bud! Got my VP/PT yesterday and loving it. I noticed the juice in the hole also this evening and wondered the same thing. I knew I had read on here before that all VP units were sealed, but seeing that juice made me wonder. Glad you asked the question.

That's exactly right!

Yep! Vaping away... had to slow down... making myslef sick. You're closer to Cali then me, figured you would have got your first. Sorry, guess Chris like me better. (although I hope not, that would just be wierd)

Well, I have to say that I think it is VERY cool that everyone is willing to speak out and voice differing opinions here. It's realy amazing and certainly has helped me see differing points of view several times on this forum. It really makes a difference when you hear differing view points from "real people" instead of on TV or radio coming form voices with an agenda. Thanks All!

Great news AngelCruz! Glad it's working out for ya!

Congrats Luke - great news! Very happy for you. I use 24mg, but I like being jittery. If I wasn't jittery I wouldn't be me! (j/k)

I got one too! :P

Agree 100%. was thinking today that if you get a mod as your 1st unit, and something happens to it, you're screwed. Starter kit with some extra batts and you're in good shape for a long time, and if you do upgrade to a mod some day, you'll always have those emergency batts from your starter kit. Still got mine.

Well that's just plain NOT NICE!

Yep... I'm thinking it'll be here tomorrow. However, there's snow on the ground so my wife won't be going to the PO during the day. No way I can get there before the window closes either. They do sometimes put a key in my box that fits a bigger box (got my package from E-N-S today), they don't have very many of those though. I'll be so sad if I get a yellow slip tomorrow night. Suppose to snow another 3-6 inches Thursday/Friday, so I may not be able to pick it up myself until Saturday.

Awwww shucks. You're toooo kind.

Welcome Aelle! I have to agree with Mark... the 510 is best. When you're talking about 4-6 hour battery life, you're talking about a battery mod, which tend to be more expensive (but worth it IMHO). If you're willing to go an extra $20 you may check out the Spade starter kit at the Vapor Talk store. That spade gives you good battery life (I get 3-5 hours of heavy vaping), comes with two 510 atty's, two batteries, charger, and 2 bottles of VT juice. Most mods are going to run $100+ and some are just the battery unit, so you'll still have to buy some atty's. Atty's and batteries will wear out, so you will have to be replacing them. Attys can last 1-2 months (some more, some less). I don't know that much about batteries yet, but I figure they'll probably last several months at best (not sure, anyone?). Your up-front investment may seem like a lot, but it will pay off (unless you go crazy and start buying a bunch of different units, but who does that? ). So, back to what Mark said - the regular batteries last 2 hours (+/-) per charge, so if you have a few extra you'll be okay. If you spend a lot of time at the computer, you may want to consider a pass-thru (PT) also. You can pick one up with your starter kit for about $20. This will allow you to use your 510 with any USB port without a battery. Again - welcome to the forum and feel free to ask any questions. There are a lot of great member here and they are all very helpful and suportive. Hope this helps.

Phew! The though of my 510 buring up puts me in tears!

I Just Got A Call From Capital One
Brian replied to TheGreen's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
@nana - trust me, you're not alone. I didn't listen to my parents about not getting into debt. Wish I had. I was doing pretty good not using my cards for a while, until I discovered vaping. Anyhow, I don't remember if it was Citi or Capitalone, but one of them cancelled my card because I didn't have a balance. That was one of my 4 cards that I did not ever use, it was put away solely for emergencies. Ticked me off a little. As for eroneous charges on bills, VERIZON is really starting to Pee me off. First, they had some 3rd pary billing on my bill of $19.95 per month. My wife pays the bills and didn't notice it. I was looking at our bills one day and saw it, did some research and found it was a big scam. Paid that stupid thing for 6 months before catching it. I had to call Verizon to have it removed and to have a 3rd party block put on my bill. They said I'd have to call the 3rd party to get my money back. Good luck with that. Why the hell do I have to request a 3rd party block anyhow? Why would they allow a 3rd party to bill through them without my consent? Anyhow, get that taken care of and the next bill was fine. Then I call to have the inside wire maintenance fee removed. Another thing I never noticed was on the bill. Got that taken care of and the next bill was fine. Then, the next bill had the inside wire maint. back on it and $30 worth of internet servies that I hadn't signed up for (some games pack, security suite, etc). I've had Verizon DSL for over a year, why all of a sudden do they put this on there? Got the same response you did Keenan - "Oh, we'll take care of that right away." How did it get on my bill. "Don't worry, we'll credit you back for it." I swear, they just stick stuff on there hoping people don't notice. Such a friggin' scam! I HATE VERIZON!!! The real crapper is that Verizon took over Alltel in my area, so now my wireless is Verizon too. I was trying to lower my plan, but to change to any Verizon plan they say I have to buy a new phone. Total BS!!! I have two Motorolla Razors, only a year old, and I have to buy a new phone to change my plan! Are you kidding me!!!!! Did you not understand that I want to lower my bill??? I'm paying $140 a month and hardly use my cells. Buying new phones is out of the question!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! Good grief! Sorry. -
Do you need to have two PV's going at the same time... one for the wiskey and one for a chaser? Wonder how that would taste with a drop of cola juice mixed in. Jack & Coke used to be my thing (many years ago).
