Don't sweat it man. Probably good that it happened so you can see how much you really prefer to vape. After two weeks analog free I had to smoke analogs due to a two day power outage (all my batts died). No biggie. We all know we're addicted, gotta get that nic, and we all know patches and logenzies don't work.

Ahhh ha ha!!!! Go Dave!!!

That great man!

You bet! I got a 801 to 901 adapter for my VP2 so I can use a cartomizer on my drive to work. It's about a 45 minute drive and it's hard to direct drip in the dark while trying to avoid deer. Cartomizer is working out pretty good for that.

My second favorite(s) have become coffee and cappucino flavors. Pretty much put down the TT when I get home from work and vape these at night and on weekends. The capp from VT is really good at 5v, but not so much on 3.7. I've also been using Mr. Bean (coffee) and Caramel Macc from dietsmokes (liquidxpress). Got some RY4 from electronixstix that's pretty good. Lee just recommended Cuban Cigar from Wet Your Stick... I may have to try that one out too.

I've got two 510's that won't work if I screw them all the way down on my VP2 (and also the one I'm using on my PT). Don't know what it is, but I have to unscrew it a little to get it to work. I've tried to pull the connector down, but that doesn't change anything.
-
I had not heard that. To test it, I just pulled the 510 off my VP/PT and put it on my VP2 and it works just fine. I have had problems with VP units pushing in the connector so it won't work on a flat battery. Today I used a paper clip on one to pull the connector down some and it worked fine too.

Before I got my VP2 I really wore out my Spade. I still swear that it seemed like my batteries lasted longer when I was vaping heavily. Wouldn't hurt to ask for a replacement, or maybe you can get a store credit to apply towrads a Joker.

Welcome to VT! I would definatley try some other types of Juice. I've had good luck with juice from VT, Electronixstix and Dietsmokes (liquidxpress). I've also heard a lot of good things about the juice from awsomevapor. What mg are you using? When I got my starter kit I got 18mg juice that wasn't very good. Wasn't long before my shipment of 24mg came from VT and it was a world of difference in flavor and throat hit.

@Nana - Sorry your Spade isn't working well for you. When you sent it in, did you get a replacement, or was the same one sent back to you? If you're not getting the battery life you're suppose to, I think you should ask for a replacement unit, or a refund. Seriously, it's a waste of money if you're not getting what you thought you were buying. You're already paid for extra batteries, and more extra batteries. You shouldn't have to do that.

Worst Product From Ces 2010: Electronic Cigarette
Brian replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
The list came from the Huffington Post. I wouldn't have expetcted anything less. -
So it's nic that they test for. Bummer.
-
Nana - have you been ordering Juice again? I was looking around at some sites last night and didn't notice anyone being out-of-stock.

I'm using a 510, and if I cover the bottom I can suck or blow air through. It has two air holes above the threads. I guess on an 801/302 type atty you can't see how it's vented. As for #2 - whoever figures that out will make MILLIONS!!!! Here's a pic of the 510 where you can see the holes.

Don't know if you can delete a post, but you can "edit" it and delete everything out of the post. Don't know if that'll leave a blank post or not.

Don't know how you got a <-1> rating on that post, so I clicked +1 for ya to take it back to 0.

I believe manual batteries and most MODS are completely sealed. Don't think you're drawing air through the battery, but through the air holes in the side of the atty (just above the threads). As for filling an atty, at this point, if an atty has too much juice on it, it can't heat and creat vapor. I think that would be a biggier problem to solve.

I've got two (one came with my Spade and one with my VP2) and haven't had any problems with either of them. However, Nana and Dylnne (and I'm pretty sure there were other threads a while back too) have both had issues with battery life on the Spade. I never thought it could be the charger, but you may be on to something. The link below is the thread of some discussion and includes a link to a dual charger that Jeffb uses (and likes). My link

Since you're already ordered a 510, I think you'd be disappointed with the Blu. I don't have any personal experience with it, but I've heard several members here say they started with a Blu. If I reall, it one of those cases where it's a good intro to the concept of ecigs, but won't satisfy you. Sounds like you'd be taking a step backwards from the 510 you've already ordered. I'm sure someone with better knowledge will answer you question soon though.

Good review Dave - glad you're liking it. Have you gone back to your VP2 yet? I'm actually still enjoying mine during the day, but definatly not feeling the TH with it like on the PT. A 5v portable will most likely be my next purchase.

Well, after having been smoke free for two weeks I had to smoke some analogs due to a two day power outage (snow storm). Yuck! It was very bad tasting so I'm quite thankful that there's no juice that tastes like a real cig. I smoked Marlboro Lights. Anyhow, I would recommend VT Traditional Tobacco. It's a tobaccoey taste, very good.

Is one of the atty's you've tried new, have you been using them both? I actually had a point when I lost flavor and found that it was getting harder to draw on an atty. I looked at some of the cleaning methods and tried one. I boiled two atty's in distelled water for 5 minutes. Seriously, it was better than having a new atty. Really don't know what to tell you man. Hang in there and give it some more time.

Hey - I was wondering how long I had to wait until I could declare non-smoker on my life insurance. I would still fear that if something happened they give my wife grief that I was technically still a smoker or some crap.
-
Good grief Dave and Nana - you both sound just like me!!! So sad for both of you!
-
Sweet! Nana was right though, I sure am burning through some juice with it!
