  1. Looked at the instructions they have on their site - I'm more inclined to think this is an M series, like an M401. Maybe like this?
  2. Thought I read somewhere that this was the same as the Blu. Does the cart look like this?
  3. Never counted puffs either, but they only lasted me about 1-1.5 hours max.
  4. The wordup subform is the only place I ever recall seeing them mentioned. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/topic/8531-neew-dse801-6-volt-pen-style-electronic-cigarette-at-wordupecig-super-store/ http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/topic/9576-improved-6v/
  5. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Look into the eGo. The standard batteries are 650mah and generally last 8+ hours. You can also get them in 900 and 1000 mah. The standard 510 battery is 180mah and will only last 1-2 hours max for a heavy user (I got about an hour from them). If you're looking for something a little bigger, check into some mods like the Silver Bullet from Altsmoke.com or the Bombshell from Hotvapes. They use a replaceable 18650 battery that is 2600 mah and will usually last most vapers all day or more.
  6. Welcome to Vapor Talk Ken! Enjoy the journey. As always - you can't go wrong with an eGo.
  7. Hi Shelly! Yep - vaping is amazing.

    Uh-Oh!

Honestly, there are clones of everything and it's hard to know what you're getting now days.
  9. Welcome to Vapor Talk! Congrats on 70+ days.
  10. Pretty much just like you said - PG will give a better TH but carries flavor better. Sounds like you may want to try 16-18mg nic with 80/20 PG/VG (or even 70/30).
  11. You may think you vape it dry, but a lot of juice can build up in them. It helps to blow them out every couple of day. Even after blowing it out, if your roll up a piece of paper towel and insert it in the atty and let it set for several minutes, you'll be amazed at how much juice gets absorbed. When I use a 510, I blow it out just about every day. Also, letting it get very hot will tend to cause more leaking. Let it cool down a little between drags.
  12. Pbusardo posted a review of the CE3s the other day. Started off good, but ended bad. LOL! http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/videos/view-42-a-pbusardo-review-ce3-smokymizer/
  13. Wicking has been the biggest problem with CE2s (or so I've heard). I'm using them in a tank mod and really like it. Nice thing about the tank I have is that if it doesn't wick well, I can just lay it sideways or turn it upside down for a second and it's good to go. For dry burning, I've found that they will perform better if you dry burn every few days. If you go more than a few days the gunk really builds up bad and it's hard to get off. It's like a cocoon around the coil. For the ones I've cleaned regularly (every 2-3 days), they've worked well for about 2 weeks (I vape 3-4 ml per day). If I don't clean it, after about a week it's in sad shape. What I do is run it under hot water (tap water) and then do dry burns for about 5 seconds (let it cool a little between burns) until the coil is glowing good. Then I use a bristly brush and just tap on the coil to knock off any caked on stuff. While overall I'm happy with them, they are inconsistent. I've had a couple die after only 2-3 days (dead). I've also had a couple that seemed to burn hot and give me burning taste no mater what I do. The one I have on right now tastes bunt even at 3.7v. It's getting changed out tonight.
  14. It's not out yet, but should be soon. I had ordered the EQ, but it was recalled (probably what you're thinking about). I think we may be miscommunicating. LOL! Go to notcigs and check out the VVPV.
  15. Nice review! Glad you like it. I'm patiently waiting for the vvpv, so no Buzz for me.
  16. I could be wrong, but the way I understood lithium ion batteries is that they have a limited number of charges. Say for example a battery has a life cycle of 300 charges. If a fully charged battery lasts you 2 days and you charge it every two days, then you'll get 600 days use out of it. If it lasts you two days, but you charge it every day, they you're basically cutting the life of the battery in half (it'll only last you 300 days).
  17. How long have you been using the same cartomizer? You don't have to clean them, just keep them "topped off". If you start getting a dryness, add some juice to them. When I used cartos, I found that adding 8-10 drops every hour or so (depends on how much you vape) helped out. Dayvape is the carto expert, so hopefully he'll provide you some more info. Cartos are meant to be disposable. Some people clean them, some don't. Some boil them and other just soak them in GPA (Everclear or Vodka).
  18. Try pasting using Ctrl-V instead of pasting with your mouse. I was able to paste with my mouse, but sometimes when I do that nothing shows up. However, with Ctrl-V it works fine.
  19. Congrats!!! Glad you're enjoying it. If you stay off analogs for a few days and then smoke one, you'll be shocked at how bad it tastes. That's why I always say I'm glad there's no eliquid that tastes like a real cigarette. LOL!
  20. You don't need a mouth piece, but a regular 510 drip tip will fit on those if you want to use one. Putting a tip on it will help keep you from getting juiced (sucking juice into your mouth). I've also heard that those dual coils can get pretty hot, so a drip tip can also help keep your lips cool! LOL!
  21. It's just a regular cartomizer, but has two coils and is a little longer (holds more juice). Look for vids on how to fill a cartomizer (there are a couple in the tutorial section of the forum, but lots on youtube). It will probably hold 30+ drops of jucie (maybe 40?). Here's one way to fill them. You can also use the "condom" method, which is where you fill the rubber endcap up with juice and push the carto into it. Works well.
  22. Hmmm. I wouldn't expect to pay more by going to their store if they also have a website. Do they have an "order on line and pick up at store" option?
  23. The batteries are usually charged to 80% for storage. Usually, it won't take long to fully charge it if you do charge them first (but who can wait LOL!). I usually just leave a little bit of a gap between the juice and the bottom of the tank (just fill it quite full) so that there's a little air left in it (seems to help it wick better). The cart that comes on the atty is not needed. I usually roll up a little piece of paper towel and insert it into the atty and then blow though the battery end. They do have quite a bit of primer in them (they say it's just PG, but it sure doesn't taste good). The tanks are reusable.
  24. I've had some just die, and have had some do what you're experiencing. I just trashed it at that point. I'm guess that it's not wicking. You could try to take it apart and lift the wick some. You got nothing to lose at this point if you do want to fiddle with it. I've been using a CE2 for a while now. It has an exposed coil and I'm shocked at how nasty the coil gets after only a few days. I hate to think about what some of them look like after 6 weeks.
  25. Honestly don't know, but madvapes has a 5 pin that is used for variable voltage. You can see how that one is wired here: http://www.madvapes.com/Variable-Voltage-Regulator-Board-Kit-Rev-2_p_2994.html I think Joe is right though. It's a 5 volt regulator used for building mods. Yes, you can make you own ecig.
