Most discussions I've seen say the Joye is best. I think the Janty may be a little better, but not woth the $6 extra you pay for it. The SLB (Sailebao) is a lower quality than Joye. I had not heard of BW (Bauway) until I ran across those mentioned above so was curious.

Here's a vid on direct dripping. I don't use carts, just direct drip. However, I do have a 901 adapter for my Space and VP2 so I can use a cartomizer while driving. Works out pretty good. My link

First question - Indyvaporshop has a 5 pack of Bauway atty's for $34.75. Has anyone tried these? I mentioned in another thread that the Janty 510 atty that came with my Spade made it's way back into rotation the other day and I've got to say this is the best of all the atty's that I currently have in use. I've got two of the original attys' that came with my start kit and 4 gold band atty's from VT store currently in use. I really think that Janty atty is working better than any of them. Not sure I'd pay the extra $ for them, but may pick up a couple more just to see if it was a fluke. Am I just imagining this? Also, I've been saying around here that the 510 atty got really hot with the original batteries, but not nearly as hot on my VP2 or Spade. However, since I got the Spade and gold band atty's, I hadn't used the solid black atty's. I started using one of my original atty's (solid black one) the other day on my VP2 and it got quite hot. Went back to a gold band and it's not nearly as hot. So what I'm wondering... does the gold band help with heat dissipation? It sure doesn't seem to get as hot as the solid black atty. Pretty sure I saw some discussion way back when and pretty much the conclusion was that there wasn't much difference, but thought I'd bring it up again.

That would defeat the purose of thier agenda. Besides, it just makes to much sence. -
Dang - that was was some fast shipping! Congrats - glad you're liking it.

Not yet - I guard it with my life!

I did that once when I was about 13. Haven't thought about time spent vaping vs. analog. Just happy not to be smoking.

And Congrats to you too! Glad the new year is starting off good!

Congrats man! Been prayin' for ya.

Haven't made it to your other post yet, but congrats! @Dave - I think I would have gone home and back to bed!

Glad to see you're able to post now. Yep, everyone loves different juices. I would suggest trying to buy the smallest bottles a site has to offer until you find what floats your boat. My favorite is the VT Traditional Tobacco. I've also ordered jucie from Electro-Nix-Stix and Dietsmokes (liquid express brand) and have enjoyed them also. I've got an order in with awsomevapor which will be arriving this week. I've heard a LOT of good things about awsomevapor so I finally got around it. Below is a link to a list of coupon codes for a lot of sites. Also check out the supplier section of the forum. Coupon Code List

Glad you're back in business. I've only ordered form V4L once (KR808 kit) and they sent me a handfull of different flavor carts and 3 5ml bottles of juice free. Was nice.

I'm sorry for your loss. FYI - I've got 3 510 atty's that when screwed all the way down will not work on my VP2 or VP/PT. However, is I unscrew them a little they work just fine. Just something you may want to try (if you haven't already). I have boiled a few of my 510's but only after they start to taste funny and start getting hard to draw on. Been very sucessful - just like having a new atty for me.

There was some discussion of insurance in this topic (link below) what was pretty interesting. My link

A new atty can take some time to break in... anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours. I've found that a 510 seems to break in faster than an 801/302 (just my limited experience). I've also found that due to the poor performance during the break-in period I'm more prone to flood the atty. You may just roll up some tissue and put it in the atty and let it sit for a bit and then start with 4 drops and see how that works.

LOL! Man - I like the way you thinkg! As you can see below my meter, I've spent $787 in 45 days. However, I have 10 unopened atty's and 8 being used in rotation. I have a Spade, VP2 and a VP/PT. I've also got about 200ml of juice. The $787 does not include the $30 juice order I placed with Arno over the weekend or the $60 on mod parts and batteries I ordered over the weekend. Nor does it include the $100 I spent on my wife's KR808 kit and carts. Still, I was smoking about 1 1/2 packs a day at $4.50 per pack. If I buy nothing else except juice I'll be in the positive in aobut 3 more months.

I'm one of those happy users getting 4-6 hours on my batteries. Also, the Janty 510 atty that came with my Spade is the best atty that I have. It was used for a couple of weeks after I got my Spade and then went on a sheft for a while. It made it's way back into rotation the other day and Wow! Seems to me that it works better than any of the other 510's I have. Not sure the Janty atty is worth the extra $, but I'm thinking of buying a few just to see if it's a fluke that I like it more than the others.

Welcome to VT and congratulations! Glad you're liking it, but, sort of along the lines of what Lee was saying, if you hit a rough spot and have an analog, don't beat yourself up over it.
-
Any time! The 510 atty is only about 1/2 as tall as the 801/302. Less room for heat dissipation I guess.
-
Wow! I with all the hype about the eGo I hadn't heard that about the batteries (or maybe I just overlooked it). I'm not in the market so wasn't really looking at it that much. Anyhow, soupninja - I love my spade. Great unit and I think you'll be happy with it. And - Welcome to VT!

Very nice. What kind of heat sink is that? Haven't seen anything like that before.

My Perspective Of 100 Days Using E-Cigarettes.
Brian replied to Todd's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Congrats on 100 days! Thanks for sharing! -
Have you felt how hot the 510 atty gets on a PT? I wouldn't recomend doing that. Also, if you're direct dripping you can trim off quite a bit of the bottem of cart and that makes it much easier to remove (and also keeps the end from melting).
-
Yea - figure I'll make plenty of mistakes which is why I ordered 4 of everything.

LMAO!!! That's tooo funny SmokinHammer.
