Marlboro light - probably averaged a pack and 1/2 per day. I started out smoking Lucky Strike filterless (LSMFT) and camel filterless. Smoked those for a few years then went to Marlboro reds, then to GPC full flavor, then to USA Gold full flavor. When I got married my wife smoked Marlboro Lights so that's when I switched to lights... almost 7 years ago.

The caramel mac from dietsmokes is pretty good, but I like the Mr. Bean (also from dietsmokes (liquidxpress)) better. It's like chewing a coffee bean. Love that flavor. I thought the caramel mac was a little sweet, so I started using two drop of carmel mac and one drop of mr. bean... good. I'm planning to try the coffee and expresso from Ms. T's. I'm really looking for something with a strong coffee flavor. Also, for me, I've found that the coffee flavors seem better at 5v. I had some coffee from awsomevapor and ENS that I was a little dissappointed in. However, when I used them in my VP/PT, I changed my mind. Quite good, but not real stong.

Is Vapor Addiction Real? I Think Its All About Choices.
Brian replied to PennMason's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Yep, that's exactly what I was talking about, but I guess I didn't really have a point. -
Glad to hear that! I thought it looked good, but my wife just thinks it'll be stupid. I wanna see it!!! I'm with you on "Saving Private Ryan" speak. That's another one I'll watch just about every time it's on TV. Green Mile and Shawshank too. Love those.

Very cool - can't wait to see it. Where's Dave? Anybody seen Dave? Dave - 6V man!!!
-
That is something I'll be looking into, but haven't found it yet. If you run across anything let me know. I'd more likely use two 3v batts and that you can switch between 3.7 and 6v. Don't know if I want 7v.

I roll up a piece of paper towel and leave it in the atty. I've got several atty's in rotation so I do this regularly. I did have a couple that seemed to really get gummed up... got bad flavor and were difficult to draw on. I boiled them in distilled water for about 5 minutes (keeping them off the bottom) and let the water cool by itself before removing them. They came out like brand new. Worked okay for me, but I've also heard some people ended up with a dead atty after boiling. Like has already been said - I'd use it as a last resort.

I'd like to put in a "Vapor Friendly" next to every "Smoker Friendly" store.

I ordered 4 of those batteries along with the parts to build some mods. Mark @ madvapes was very helpful and responded to my emails very fast, so if you have any questions about anything on his site, just shoot him an email.

It even says so on the link you provided: - Note: Professional users have tested these batteries' capacity to be 305mAh each and Ultrafire is overrating them as 500mAh. Please read the "measured capacity" forum post below.

Is Vapor Addiction Real? I Think Its All About Choices.
Brian replied to PennMason's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Wow - this turned out to be a great thread! Ok - so my stupid question - on the half life - wouldn't that be different if you're dead? Sorry, but I'm serious. Wouldn't that explain the difference between the debated 48 hours vs. 2 hours? -
Thanks everyone! So far it's worked really good. I haven't used it to much because I didn't seal it yet. However, it work pretty darn good. Great vapor production. My only concern so far is how how the atty gets. I'm afraid it's going to melt the plastic box so you have to let it cool down plenty between drags. @Dave - I soldered the connector wire first outside of the box. My first attempt was a disaster. Pretty sure my soldering iron needs a new tip because I couldn't get the darn thing hot enough. I tried to melt the solder higher on the iron and drip it on, but it didn't stick and rolled down into the connector. On my second connector I pushed the center piece out, removed the gasket seal and had no problem then becuse I was able to heat it up using a higher part of the tip. Realy though, I think if you've got a good tip it won't be to difficult. When I first started on this I was a little overwhelmed and figured there was no way I could get all that soldering done insdie the box. So I started laying it out (outside the box). Once I got going I discovered that I could make most of the connection outside of the box. The only soldering I had to do inside the box was connect the positive wire from the connector to the out pin, and the ground from the regulator pin to the connector. I drew this diagram of how the wires go which really helped me. However, I didn't get the LED put in. I'll work on that for the next one. I am trying to make a little vid of the vapor, but my computer isn't cooperating. Bear with me.

I have a VP2 and love it. You want to attach the atty to the adapter first, then attach that to the VP1. You can download the instructions for it at vaprlife (like below, then scroll down to bottom of page). VP1

That's great! And it only gets better with time!

Very interesting - thanks for posting that!

I've been using the 302's on my VP/PT. They are amazing at 5v. Great flavor and vapor.
-
Man, that's awful!!! We're going to need a lemon law on PV's.

Ok - so here it is! I have to say this was a much bigger PITA than it thought it would be. Other than re-attaching a wire on some of my kids toys, I've never soldered before. My soldering iron is several years old and I'm pretty sure I need to replace the tip. I goal for this project was to just get one built and working. It's not pretty. I didn't cover or seal any of my connection and didn't use any JB Weld or Gorilla snot. However, it's together and it works! I learned a lot doing this so hopefully next time I can put together some instructions. Pretty sure I'll get some 4 battery cases instead of using the 3 batt cases. It was just to tight for my liking. I also left out LED just because there was so little room and I was getting a little frustrated.

The mettal mesh bridge is what you see when looking into the atty. From that bridge there is a fiber wick that runs down onto the coil. I could be wrong, but it sounds like the wick may have been fried. If the remaining pieces became detatched from the bridge and are laying fully on the coil, that may be buring up. Like Lee, I'm no expert. Hopefully someone will be able to help you. I've never heard of this happening so it'll be interesting to find out.

What Are The Best Non Fruity Tobacco Like Flavors?
Brian replied to EagleKeeper's topic in New Vapers Forum
If you like coffee, I really like Mr. Bean from Dietsmokes (liquidxpress). Compared to some of the other coffee flavors I've tried, this one tastes like you're chewing a coffee bean. Really good. -
Didn't know District 9 was out on demand. I'll make a point to watch that now. Looked like it was pretty good. There was one scary movie I saw when I was a teen that gave me night mares. Candyman. Haven't seen any of the sequals to it, but the original was just one of those movies that got to me. Not sure why, but it did.

Glad to see some coffee vaper's popping up! I asked about coffee flavors a while back and nobody seemed interested.

Yep, got an Excel file going too.

I can't bring myself to throw them away!!! Sick, really.

Is Vapor Addiction Real? I Think Its All About Choices.
Brian replied to PennMason's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Sure it's about choice. I chose to vape instead of smoke. I chose to use nicotine in my vape so that I don't have nicotine withdrawls and become jittery and irritable. If my doctor told me nicotine was killing me I'd say farewell cruel world. If I could stop using nicotine as easily as you say you can, I would do it and save the money. Yes, I really enjoy vaping, but I think much of the enjoyment comes from the fact that it's satisfying my addiction. If I had to go all day without nicotine I'd be a nervous wreck.
