Dietsmokes.com has the VP/PT and Spade in stock. I've become quite fond on my VP/PT with the 302/801 atty. I like the 510 on it too, but I seem to get much better flavor with the 302. I've had flavors that were not so great on the 510 at 3.7v, and I've had flavors that aren't so great on the 510 at 5v, but all of them are really good with the 302 at 5v. Hard to believe until you see it yourself.

You cannot overcharge the batteries. However, it's not recommended that you leave them on charge overnight, but I do it all the time. Generally, I use 2-3 drops. Much more than that and you'll flood the atty. If you flood the atty, it can't get hot enough to vaporize the juice. If you hear a bubbling noise and don't get much vapor, you've flooded it. No biggie, just roll up a piece of paper towel and insert it in the end of the atty to absorb out some of the juice. I don't think you'll damage it from to much juice, it'll just flood, which can also cause it to leak around the connection to the battery. You'll get the hang of it in no time.

And those chargers can be a little tricky so make sure when you put it in that it does go red and does eventually go green after an hour or two. I would definately try to charge that battery again.

mcquinn uses denture tabs to soak his in. Then he rises them out a couple of time with hot water from his coffee pot. I would say if you've been using the atty for a while, just hot tap water probably won't do much good.

I've boiled a few in distilled water with good success. I use a plastic spoon or something to keep the atty's off the bottom of the pot. I boiled them for about 5 minutes and left them in the pot until the water was cool enough to remove by hand. Blow them out a little and let them dry overnight. NOTE: some poeple have reported killing atty's this way, so I would only do it as a last resort. The ones I had boiled were getting bad flavor all the time and were getting hard to draw on. Just felt "gummed up". After boiling, they were better than new.

I've looked at these on TW site and they are $17.99 each!!! Way to expensive if you ask me.

I've found that doing the paper towel thing (roll up a piece and stick it in your atty and let it set a while) does pretty good at getting most of the old flavor out. Not all, but it certainly helps.

I had seen something like this on another forum with a home made mod. Wasn't using protected batteries. Still, like BigXor said, I know nothing about electronics, yet I built my own 5v mod using two 3.7v batts (protected) with a 5v regulator. I have no idea how safe it is and now I'm having second thoughts about using it or building any more.

Yes I did, but when I looked back at prof's post and saw SuperT I said to myself: "DUH!" I had heard of it, and looked at it before, just forgot. I had looked at it when looking at the brass tips a while back. Very expensive. If I was going to spend that much I'd have to seriously consider the GG also.

Some poeple keep seperate atty's for like flavors. One atty for fruity flavors, one darker flavors like coffee and tobacco, and definately a seperte one if you like menthol. So far I'm not much on sweet flavors or fruity flavors so I don't worry about it to much. I did try some vanilla once and OMG it took days to get that taste out of my atty. Seriously, I couldn't believe how long it lingered.

Been having pains in my chest, and tightening, shortness of breath and chronic fatigue. Not severe pain, but definately noticable. Also flutters in my heart (don't know of any other way to describe it) and sometimes rapid heart beat. This is something I've experienced for a few years, but it usually comes and goes. Over the past few months it's gotten worse. Since I was a smoker and since my dad had a heart attack when he was only 54, she didn't feel comfortable with just ordering a stress test. She said stress test are only about 75% accurate and she wanted to make sure I didn't fall through the cracks. She said that between now an my appointment, if I have any pain that doesn't subside, get my butt to the ER. Snow? We're suppose to get a big snow storm starting Friday (last time I check). Finally went to see a doctor today. I've known for a while that things just aren't right with me, but I hate going to see a doctor and haven't been for about 4 years. As I approached the office building there was a big sign posted on the doory saying "No tobacco products allowed in this building". I figured that didn't bode well for my ecig success story. Anyhow, when the dreaded "do you smoke" question came up I said "well, I've been using an electronic cigarette and haven't had a real cigarette in over 50 days." Amazingly, when I said "electronic cigarette" she got this huge smile on her face. All she said was "that's great!" I was surprised to say the least. She did scare me a little though. After explaining all my symptoms she is referring me to a cardiologist. Ok - truth is I'm more than a little scared.
