  1. I'm not familiar with electronic spray cleaner. Are there any chemicals in it that you'll be vaping into your lungs when you fire it back up?
  2. No doubt Dietsmokes is selling genuine Joye 510's. You ordered the gold band atty's? Those are my favorite.
  3. Thanks for the info on the V3. Been thinking of getting one for my wife. She couldn't do the 510, couldn't do PG, couldn't do PG on on 302, but I recently had her try VG on a 302 and that seems to be working for her. She's using a Spade with 801 adapter right now, but would like to get her something else. I think she'll like the Janty Stick. What do you do as a carpenter? Excuse my ignorance, but not sure if that mean you build houses, or make furniture, or something else entirely, or all of the above.
  4. Even if a mod is vented so that it's not a pipe bomb, the batteries going off and spewing flames is still going to be dangerous - as you saw from Robert's detonater. Not sure I've seen the mod you're talking about, but have seen some double atty mods around.
  5. Ouch - sorry man. Ok - hmmmm. How are you liking that Janty Stick v3? Are you originally from WI? If not, how did you get there?
  6. The straw just provides a lip for the plug to sit on - keeps the plug from just pusing down into the cart. I see what you're saying about putting the plut in the atty, but then the juice would just build up on top and fill the atty above the plug. Not sure how that would work with the airflow - you'd be drawing air through the juice.
  7. The original vid with the 2 atty's, the one they sell, uses a single protected battery so I don't see that there's any more risk of it exploding than any other unit. Altsmoke promotes all of the units as 3.7v and doesn't recommend stakcing batteries (not sure if they added all the warning after the BB or before). Anyhow, I just thought it looked cool - that was my only point. However, I would say with two atty's you get twice the vapor?
  8. I think I'm gonna have to have one of these. Check out the vids of this thing. Wow. My link
  9. Yes. The plug is just a little soft piece of silicon (or something). You take it out and fill up and put it back in. Or you can use a syringe to refill.
  10. Here are a few links - but there are plenty more out there. Vaprlife - VP1 & VP2 (and the Joker - not released) The Chuck Silver Bullet The Spade
  11. There are a lot of battery mods for the 510 atty. I have a two Spades and a VP2. These units use protected rechargable batteries. You should have a look around at them. In the end it'll all come down to personal preference as to what size and how it looks. You can see the VP1 and VP2 at vaprlife, and the Spade is at the VT store. I have a VP2 and the battery lasts me 8+ hours of pretty heavy vaping. There's also the silver bullet at altsmokes, the chuck... and many others.
  12. Coffee - ok, you've got my attention. I'm listening...
  13. I believe they've said they should be in stock sometime in March. They cost $80.
  14. Not sure what the "p" means, but that's the same thing that is on the batteries that came in my usb pt battery box. IRC10440P 320 mAH
  15. The straw he uses is the neon straw from walmart. I'm going to get some of those to see if it helps. The straw I'm using may be a little bigger around then needed. Seriously, when it work correctly it's really great. I'm tempted to buy the premade ones just to see if I'm doing something wrong.
  16. The carts are just regular 510 carts so they'll hold about 10 drops. You can buy the carts ready made for $25, or you can buy just the plugs for $12 for 10. If you get just the plugs you'll need to cut a straw to insert into the your own cart. Honestly, I've been using one all day and it's been hit and miss. One time it works great, the next time all the juice runs out and floods my atty and makes a terrible mess. At this point I cannot recommend it, but if I figure out what I'm doing wrong I may change my opinion. This LINK is for premade carts. This LINK is for just the plugs. This LINK is to another thread discussion this cart mod. You can take another link form that where you'll be able to see pics of it.
  17. The Tornado is the same thing as a Janty eGo. It does use the 510 atty. As I understand, you can't use the 510 charge with the ego batteries, but I think TW has an adapter that will let you do that. The big advantage is that the batteries are 650mah so they will last you for a very long time (I've heard reports of 8+ hours and better). The downside is that the batteries are more expensive to replace. Everyone that has an eGo seems to love it - haven't heard any complaints yet.
  18. Below is a link to another thread about removing the wick. Post #4 has a link to a vid which explains what the wick is and how it works and how to remove it. My link
  19. This fiber helps the juice wick down from the bridge to the coil. If you're direct dripping it shouldn't be a problem and may even give you better performance in the long run. If you're using a cart, your juice may not get down to the coil as fast.
  20. I think it's just a different manufacturer. BE = Bestecig This is good info about the different manufacturers at indyvaporshop. My link
  21. I think it's because nobody knows what a 304 is so they just call them all 302's. Lots of people don't know what a 302 is either, which is why they get listes as 801's by some vendors. I got 302's from ENS and they are silver band, but it's the silver band that he showed in the pic so that's what I was expecting.
