So, I'm looking through my stuff and find 4 cr123a batteries and a battery charger that will charge cr123a's and 18650 batteries (two at a time). I have no use for this stuff. Hmmm. Well that's just not right!!! Silver Bullet - on the way. Joyestick V3 - on the way. That's it. I'm done. Won't buy nothing ever again. Except I'm out of Sweet Dawn, and Chris is suppose to be gettin in those 510 cartomizers, and some other surprises... and there's still the Joker, and the Omega will be out soon.

Would love to see it! I think your statement was... well, a statement. Don't think anyone really understands what you're asking for? Are you asking for ideas, suggestions??? Or are you just letting us know that you're working on a song? I had read your post earlier, but didn't really know what to say, which is why I didn't post a reply. I certainly thinkg it a great idea and I'm sure everyone here would appreciate your efforts on it.

What I've learned is that it's been hit and miss. One time it'll work fantastic, then the next time I get a big mess. I need to play with it some more, but have pretty much given up for now. Still, if I could get it to work every time, it would be great.

So the question is raised again... what's more addictive... Vaping, Buying Equipment, or the VT forum. Technically though, I have not purchased a new unit since December. I ordered my VP/PT on "back order" in December and received it in January. Here it is... March and I'm pulling my hair out trying to to buy something else. Sure, I've ordered lots of atty's and juice (surely enough to last over a year), but not another unit. I'm not sure I can make it through this weekend without ordering a SB. I man, Jeffb has one, it's only fair that I should have one too.

I have a VP2 and two Spades. VP2 battery will generally give you 8+ hours of pretty heavy vaping. I say 8 to be conservative as I usually get well over 8 (10-12), and usually just change the battery because I seems like I should. I can easly make it through a day at work on one battery. The Spade uses smaller batteries and they will last 4-6 hours, again, depending on how heavy you vape. And it you're going for REALLY long battery life, you may want to consider a Silver Bullet. It uses an 18650 battery that is 2400 mah (VP2 uses a 14500 900mah, Spade uses a 10440 360mah). At 2400 mah the battery should last more than twice as long as the VP2. I'm thinking the Silver Bullet will me my next purchase. I also have a VP/PT and it's awsome at 5V with a 302 atty.

You shouldn't be using it without using juice (a cart, or direct dripping). It will make vapor due to the primer added by the manufacturer (to keep people from burning them up when they first get them). If it's glowing red, it's getting to dry. The atty needs to be kept moist. What ecig did you get?

Per Chris' and others recommendations, I got 302's when I ordered my VP/PT. Glad I did as I like it better at 5v than I do the 510. I only tried the 510 at 5v for a little while when I first got it and have been using the 302 ever since. I recently also started using it on my VP2 and it's not bad. Don't get the TH like the 510, but with the bigger cart it's been good for when I'm driving.

Are you sure about the extender cup? I thought there were two different ones... one to use two CR123's and a different one for the 18650. Hmmm, guess I need to look at it a little more. Never mind - I get it now.

After topping off - you sould get more than 2 draws. You may want to check out some vids on youtube about cart refilling. I direct drip most of the time, and have only just started using some carts while driving. For me it's been hit and miss. One time it'll work great and get me all the way to work (about a 45 minute drive) and other times it just doesn't wick well. Guess I haven't mastered it yet. You do want to have the filling pulled even with the edge of the cart to ensure it's making contact with the atty bridge. After adding drops to the cart, use a paperclip and kinda "jiggle" the filler around so that the juice will soak in. If the juice goes down, add more drops. You want the end of the cart to look like a "slushy" when you put it on. You can also flick the cart a little with your finger to help the juice flow down.

I have heard people talk of using everyclear to increase throat hit, but haven't tried it. I think there's a post around here somewhere... if I run across it I'll post the link.

There are some pics in the gallery that help show the difference. However, I've heard that SLB is producing a new 510 that looks more like the Joye.

Thanks mcquinn - The 302 is working pretty good for her, and the fluval is doing okay also. It's on a Spade though, and is always upright. Good to hear you don't have any issues laying it sideways. I think she'll like the smaller unit.

I agree, but I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible for my wife. Not that she could't do it, but for now, the less she has to do, the more likely she is to keep trying. The 302 with Fluval have been working pretty good. Once she gets to where she's using it more often, then we'll work on direct dripping.

Yes - nic is the primary source for throat hit (or so I'm told). I use 24mg and it works good for me. I've used 18mg and can barely feel it. I've tried some 11mg and get nothing.

Is anyone using the Stick V3 with a cart? I'm thinking of getting one for my wife, but she will most likely always be using a cart. Since the bottom of the unit is rounded, it would have to be liad on it side when not in use. Just wondering if that causes any problems with wicking, flooding, or getting juiced??? Thanks All!
