Well, after trying to get my 302 to work on the SB again and being unsuccessful, I went looking. Rob from Altsmoke posted this in the altsmoke forum on ECF. "Do not use JOYE302 on the 801 adapters, ya they thread but they don't work and will kill your atomizers. We don't want people using cross compatible threadings with these adapters. I.E. 801 with 4072, JOYE302, M201, etc. especially since they weren't made for these models and we just don't know if the threading is different." That said, the 510 to 801 adapters I have from goodprophets work just fine on the SB and 302.

It does not come with an atty. The standard fitting is for the 801 (or Joye 302) and it'll come with one adapter for either the 510 or 901 (you pick). I would get the 510 adapter. Hi Robin - welcome to VT! You've come to the right place! The mouth piece with the stuffing - was it dry, or does it have juice in it? You want to make sure you're using a cart with jucie in it. The carts with stuffing (polyfil) can be refilled. Also, the polyfil can be cleaned with hot water and then just blot it dry with a paper towel. There are a couple of vids in the video FAQ section that will be a big help to you starting off. Be sure to watch the one on "direct dripping". There's also a review of the Joye 510 that will be good for you to watch. I think watching some of the vids will really help and give you a better understanding of some of the answer you'll get here. Feel free to ask any questions - the members here are very helpful and supportive. There is a learning curve and sometime it can be frustrating... just hand in there and don't put pressure on yourself to quit smoking right away. As I always say - just start vaping and see what happens. If you have heart problems, you may want to talk to your doctor about his alternative and make sure you'll be okay still using nicotine. FAQ Joye 510 Review Oh - yes, the black mouth piece can be used. There are a few different types of filler people like to use (fluval, pyramid tea bag, etc.). I direct drip 99.9% of the time, so don't use carts much.

Vaprlife makes the VP/PT - you're in good hands with Jesso.

I think Grimmgreen did an updated vid for the newer ones too. They are pretty cool.

Vaping While Sick Doesn't Really Feel All That Great!
Brian replied to StevenP's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
Man, you sure had it bad! Glad you're feeling somewhat better. Will definately wash or trash my carts regularly. -
That looked like a pretty darn good price without the discount!

I saw that too... sent the link to ddave. Brandon - never heard of this place until you posted it.

Phew - at first read "I like everything I got BUT Traditional/Exotic Tobacco". I was afraid for ya. Yea - wall plug is best. I used mine for a couple of days in UBS before trying the wall plug and WOW - what a difference. Glad you like it. Are you using the 510 or 302/801?

I've heard rumors that there may be a SB pass-through soon. :> Have you looked at the Mako yet? Jason just got them in at ENS and it looks like it has every possible voltage combination... 3.7, 5, 6 and 7.4. MAKO. Joseph - have you checked out the Joker yet? It'll be coming out soon too.

If you're vaping at high volts you may find this thread of interest. HV Atty

What voltage are you vaping at? I wouldn't use a HV atty unless you've vaping at 6V or more. These will not perform well at 3.7v. At 6 volts, the 4.5 ohm atty will produce 8 watts and the 5.2 will produce 4.8 watts, which is less than your standard 2.2 ohm atty at 3.7 volts. The standard 2.2 ohm atty will produce 6.2 watts.

esmokeronline does have a forum on ECF - so definatley check them out a little more. Discount code ECF for 5%.

I'm not aware of any "quality" PT's with short cords... I thought the long cord was a plus. I think altsmoke has a BB PT and puresmoker has a PT. May want to look at those. I'm not aware of any others, but I'm sure you'll get some more answers soon.

Welcome! You've gotten great advice already. Definately pick up a couple of extra atty's. I too prefer the 302 (801) on the VP/PT at 5 volts, but prefer the 510 on my portable battery operated units.

Haven't really timed how long it takes, but I'd say about 6 hours.
-
That's what I said. I think the eGo is 650 mah, so the SB battery is about 4 times that. It's sweet, but a little heavey. It does take several hours to charge though.

Great Job!

The atty is for 3.7v, but since it has a lower ohm than the regular 510, it vapes like the regular atty does at 5V. Since it will reduce battery life, it's recommended for batteries with longer life. I think the eGo has 650 mah batts, so you should be good to go, but the battery (in theory) won't last as long. The regular 510 produces 11 watts at 5 volts (about 6 watts at 3.7 volts). The Magnum produces about 9 watts at 3.7 volts (and would probably fry at 5V).

I only got 48 hours on my 2400 mah Silver Bullet. Getting 48 hours on a 900 mAh is... well... are you sure you are actually vaping?
